Art dump: Just Spike loving to pose in different outfits and also enjoying some Blooba (blood boba). ✨

Doing some btvs related ref research only to surprisingly find a very old reddit post of one of my buffy art, to see then a critique that is surprised that I donned the villains with star of david all across them and how weird that is. And I was baffled, like what the fuck? As if that was my intention.

I wanted to create this piece with as much typical art nouveau elements as I can. One of the much used elements at that time when I got more into art nouveau was for example the six pointed star, that swirls across the piece or parts of the piece. In art nouveau it has many symbolisms, but the main one I knew of is for decorative purposes to show the geometric harmony/symmetry found in how flowers grow, a simplification of flower art if you will. The other was two triangles that merge to represent that one can not exist without the other or how they interlock, opposing elements and how they create universal balance.

So I used them as part of typical art nouveau decor, that was simply the main part (so the villains wouldn’t look stacked upon, so there‘s a break in that sort of „stiff“ composition) and the other minimal part as a philosophical concept that reminded me of yin and yang. One example is for example how Buffy admitted herself that she may want to live life like a normal person, but she also accepts that she wants and needs to be the slayer, unifying human and slayer essence, which came very late in the story and culminated into season 7 (and into post buffy canon stuff).

Imagine how much more peaceful sunnydale could be with a boba/blooba shop led by anti-hunt vamps. Dif blood types and extras and boba for the chewing effect/texture, instead of the weetabix.

Copying data from my macbook to my seagate expansion hdd and at first I noticed it being a bit slower and then I noticed it actually stopping mid data copy from time to time. And I am like uh oh this can’t be happening, I got this thing not even a year ago.

So I wanna make sure my hdd is fine, only to find out I can’t smart check external devices on apple products. :)))) so you need to A) download a software that doesn’t even work because you need to additionally install smth that apple prohibits every way it can or B) do it via terminal coding (and I need the coding term of my seagate, which I do not know). So now I can’t check if it’s ok.
