Broken Homes Receive the Most Light
They say broken homes receive the most light. Sometimes, you will go through a poignant experience, and that experience will make you closer to God.

“There is only one important point you must keep in your mind and let it be your guide. No matter what people call you, you are just who you are. Keep to this truth. You must ask yourself how is it you want to live your life. We live and we die, this is the truth that we can only face alone. No one can help us. So consider carefully, what prevents you from living the way you want to live your life?”
— Shams Tabrizi (Rumi’s spiritual master, Sufism)

Advice from Sayyidi al-Habib 'Umar on entering the month Rabīʿ al-Awwal
To receive this month well with truthful turning to Allah and growth of your faith, love and certainty. Let mention of the Prophet S.A.W, his life, his birth and his news fill your homes. Raise your voices in the invocation of blessings upon him. Illuminate your homes and your hearts by them. When this month came, some of the scholars of the Ummah would read the Mawlid with their families in every room of their house. Each day they would recite in a room or corridor, honouring their homes with invocations of blessings upon Prophet S.A.W and the mention of his birth and news. Be truthful in your reception of the noble month and in how you raise your children. Encourage them and bring them closer. He concludes by making a dua," Oh Lord, grant the hearts wakefulness this month. Grant them light from your light, which illuminates and increases until the Day of Meeting you, O Almighty, O All-Forgiving."
“Conscious of their own ignorance, most people are impressed by anyone who pontificates and says something that is over their heads.”
— Aristotle, Nicomachean Ethics
“A couple of months ago, I became depressed by the realization that I’d forgotten pretty much everything I’ve ever read. I have, however, bounced back: I am now cheered by the realization that if I’ve forgotten everything I’ve ever read then I can read some of my favorite books again as if for the first time.”
— Nick Hornby, The Polysyllabic Spree
Sidi Ibrahim Al Matbouli:
Know son that you aren't really travelling the Path unless your foundation is this; that your happiness is only found with your Lord and your sadness is due to being veiled from Him but if your foundation is set on seeking happiness in anything else but Him and being sad on missing anything else but Him.. How long your path will be! Reflect upon this son and make it your foundation
Bury your existence in the earth of obscurity. For nothing grows until it is buried. -Ibn Ata Allah
“If not for You, we would not know Love, If not for Love, we would not know You.”
— Ibn al-Fāriḍ
You don’t seek contentment, you become content. Contentment is an end not a means.

Gila is bat ka hai Kay apnay hamain maukha na dia
