"You talk too much," okay? So pin me to a wall with your dagger to my throat and shut me up?
Send âbrushâ to accidentally touch one of my museâs scars
Send âtraceâ to purposely touch one of my museâs scars
Send either of these words plus âreverseâ for our muses to switch places
âWhat was that over thereâŠ? Did you say something?â
ExhaustedÂ
Allura fixed the spectacles on her face so she could read over the last bits of the document again, but no matter how many times she did... She just couldnât retain the information. With a small groan, Allura buried her face in her hands, then rubbed her temples with her fingers. Of course, hearing her dearest friend question her incoherent muttering only seemed to confuse her more. Did she say something? She was sure that she hadnât, but with the growing headache and the lack of a verbal filter, she was contemplating the idea that something might have slipped out.
With a sigh, Allura reached for her glasses to set them down on the desk. She then turned to Mizu and lightly shook head ânoâ.Â
âI donât think I did, but I will admit that Iâve been working for too long. Maybe a break from these papers would do me some good,â Allura fixed the stack to have them neatly placed away in a folder, âCare for a stroll through the kingdom?â
Extremely Exhausted Starters Part 2
âYouâre nodding off⊠hey, come on, you need sleep.â
âI canât⊠youâre going to have to carry me.â
âHey, you passed out. Do you remember what happened?â
âNo more today, youâre at your limit.â
âIâm canât move⊠Iâm too tiredâŠâ
âYouâre starting to ramble, you need rest.â
âWhat was that over thereâŠ? Did you say something?â
âNap⊠please? Nap with me?â
âMy subconscious isnât exactly allowing me to get some damn sleep.â
âI canât lift it without shakingâŠâ
âYouâre too weak to stop me from stopping you.â
âI donât even have the energy to be defiant⊠I must be messed up.â
âStanding up is about all I can do.â
âYou can tell me all about how tired you arenât while I carry you to bed.â
âItâs been three days⊠does it make sense now?â
âWhatever you need me to do so youâll stop and rest, Iâll do it.â
âDonât force my hand. This is your last chance to stop yourself.â
âYour health is deteriorating. Take a break or Iâll make you.â
âYouâre wrong, Iâm fine. I know Iâm fine⊠Iâm fineâŠâ
âTelling yourself that youâre okay doesnât make it true. We need to get you safe and rested.â
âYes, you did it and youâre alive, shut up. I was worried half to death you idiot!â
âTired enough for cuddling huhâŠâ
âYou shush⊠shhh⊠shhhhuuushhhâŠâ
âOh great bed rest warden, may I be allowed freedom from my prison today?â
âYouâre shaking, and sore. I can see the exhaustion in your eyes.
a slightly altered timeline.  send me â timeline â and a number and i will tell you how my muse and their life would have turned out in a life slightly altered compared to their canon oneâsame universe, but where something little, or something big, went differently.
the timeline in which they live an ideal life, had no opportunities taken from them, were subjected to nothing terrible, where they grew up to fulfil their full potential.
the timeline in which they never met who would become the most influential or important person in their life, or that person was taken from them before they were capable of forming memories.
the timeline in which something important to them happened in a different stage of life.
the timeline in which they knew beforehand of something they would have prevented if given the chance.
the timeline in which they continue on from the current point in their lives to the best happy ending that is within their reach, where nothing that has happened so far is negated but from now on, the happy things start piling up.
the timeline in which everything that could go wrong from this point on⊠does.
the timeline in which they never experience the loss that taught them something important.
the timeline in which they gain everything they want, except for the thing they wanted the most.
the timeline in which they live the life they currently see the most likely for them.
the timeline in which something big to them never happened.
the timeline in which something very little happened differently, but it changed a lot.
the timeline in which they had a person in their life when they needed one the most.
the timeline in which instead of the most influential person in their life, they had a person who had the complete opposite effect on them.
the timeline in which they took a chance they didnât in canon.
the timeline in which they let a chance go by.
âMaybe Iâll see you in another life, if this one wasnât enough.â

Sinbad
âI feel you might be right,â Allura heaved a sigh, âOf all the pests-- I swear, if we find any that are larger than the ones on earth...â Funny little fact about Allura was that she really didnât like insects, or rather, just those that can fly.Â
She placed her hand on her hip as looked around the towering forestscape once the hatch of the ship opened to let them out. Their mission was simple: check the unknown anomaly the council pinpointed here a few days ago. However, the place was a little more than overgrown, and the large leaves and foliage only made Allura wonder what was hiding behind it. The first few steps down the ramp were normal, but the moment she stepped down onto the planetâs soil, it seemed that everything just went quiet-- all the noise was completely gone. This unsettled her a bit, it were as though everything alive knew that they were there. She shook off her heebie jeebies and pulled her gun close to aim it forward.Â
âIâm ready to move when you are.â
âWhat happened down there?â you have my sincere apologies if we aren't mutuals tumblr is absolutely fucked and tells me your blog doesn't exist when i try to check
SinbadÂ
âHonestly? I havenât the slightest clue...â Allura climbed up the stairs leading to the first floor library after exploring the basement space they found there. The room itself was rather cramped, for it was filled with boxes upon boxes of old texts... And well, the language was something foreign to the princess so she had no idea what they could be about. As she tried to move a few boxes to see how many where stuffed in there, she might have seen a dark figure watching her in the corner but her logical mind didnât click to the idea of a ghost or spirit until she saw it moving towards her. In a bout of panic, she took a quick step back, knocking a few book stacks down but that didnât stop the shadow figure of getting closer... So Allura did the most logical thing to do--- get the heck out of there.Â
Seeing Shiro waiting for her at the top of the stairs gave her some comfort that the shadow figure wouldnât dare come after them. But she was still in denial of what she witnessed. âDo... Do you, perhaps, have any explanation for shadow figures?â

âYouâre rescuing me.â
âI canât watch you die!â
âGive that guy a raise!â
âHeâs so cute. And so gullible.â
âWhat happened down there?â
âA ship is no place for a woman.â
âAre you crazy? I saved your life!â
âDo you realize how serious this is?â
âI donât know, but he owes me lunch.â
âYou know, they donât do you justice.â
âOh, beautiful⊠if you like mosquitoes.â
âOkay, right, like Iâd give you a weapon.â
âEnough talking! Time for some screaming.â
âThis has to be a little embarrassing for you.â
âHow can one woman do so much damage?â
âPray to the gods. We may be meeting them soon.â
âRescues are not part of the usual tourist package.â
âDonât push your luck. Youâre cute. But not that cute.â
âDo you realize how many times Iâve heard that today?â
âWhy, now I just feel bad, âcause youâre gonna get fired.â
âYouâre wrong about him! You donât know whatâs in his heart!â
âSee, in the hands of an expert, a good knife has 1001 uses.â
âOnly the most foolish of captains would dare sail through this.â
âYes, weâve done this sort of thing before, no, there is no other way.â
âSheâs got a major crush on me, and she invited me back to her place.â
âYou scaled a thousand-foot tower of ice, and you donât know how to get down?â
âLook, this is the way it works. First, I actually commit a crime, then you get to blame me for it!â
âYes, you have my permission to stand there quietly while I give you a free lesson in sailing.â
âOf all the ungrateful â ! Look, if youâd rather take your chances on your own, that can be arranged!â
âYou⊠you egotistical, disrespectful, pretentious, pompous, self-centered, cantankerous, untrustworthy, ungrateful, impossible, insufferable â !â
Sacrifice. Allura was glad to know that she wouldnât have to give herself away to death anytime soon, but she knew that it was necessary for her friends and their worldsâ survival. To Allura, they were worth the sacrifice; they were worth the chance to start again... Maybe this way of thinking was what led her parents to guide her out of the quintessence field. Maybe she too, deserved to be a little selfish, just as Shiro said.Â
The faintest of smiles crept onto her face when she heard him agree to her silly request, and then a small wave of relief consumed the last of her anxieties as she felt the warmth of his hands take hers. She was thoroughly surprised when his prosthetic radiated a bit of heat, but she didnât care to complain. It felt nice.Â
âYou, honestly, never cease to amaze me,â Allura had no idea how soft her voice was, but she continued anyway, âI know that your skills have been formed and shaped by circumstance, and by the Gods, if I could at least share in half your trials to help you carry through them, I would. But you still remain to be so chivalrous and kind despite everything. I recall you saying I never need to thank you, but really, there are no amount of words that could ever express my gratitude in meeting and getting to know you.âÂ
The Princess wondered if she was coming on too strong. For all Shiro knew, she was probably over thanking him just for warming her hands up. She chuckled at the thought; perhaps talking about it would give proper insight.
âYou know, while I was... Not of this plane of existence... Everything felt cold. Maybe thatâs what triggered my uneasiness. Even upon waking at the colony, I was freezing.â Allura hummed contently as she left her hands in his, âHah, I perhaps shouldnât bore you of my sob stories. All thatâs in the past, and weâre here now. Oh, for what itâs worth, Iâll definitely tell you when your hand gets too hot for me.âÂ
Allura heaved a sigh; she didnât want to leave her conversation there. It felt like the topic was too depressing to pick up and continue a normal conversation, so she tried her best to figure out a segue to a similar topic on interest. One more suited for Shiro to talk.Â
âSo, what has been going on since the end of the war? I assume a lot of peace meetings and restoration... But Iâm much more interested in what you and the others were doing during the time.â
It was only fair to admit to some of the things she has noticed in the older paladin. He did share his, after all, and Allura would never pass up the chance to tell Shiro the things he might not notice about himself-- it gives her a chance to sing his praises too.Â
âWell, letâs see... From the top of my list?â She wiggled her nose in contemplation, but then her metaphorical light bulb went off when she managed to pick one trait to highlight, âYou hum in the shower, did you know that? And you always smell like flowers coming out. I find it comforting, if I may be so honest... Iâve also noticed your doodlings on paper. Youâre quite talented.â
The princess offered a small smile as she laid her first observations out on the table. She sudden;y found it difficult to look Shiro in the eyes, but she managed with a soft flush on her cheeks,
âOh very well!â Allura sighed as she felt herself giving up. Pidge was always a challenge to crack, and it seemed that tonight was one of those moments where she wonât give her the satisfaction... Besides, you can only do so much when youâre caught staring. Â Instead, she hatched this idea that might help entertain her boredom... And, perhaps, Pidge would like to help with that.Â
âSo... Would you like to be an accomplice of mind tonight then??â she leaned against the rail to rest her cheek against her palm, âLance and I have been on a innocent prank war for the past few quintants.. Innocent, being a loose term here... Iâve yet to see him on the dance floor, so Iâm forced to believe heâs planning something to get me back for the bathroom prank I pulled earlier.â
Yes, having allies would be a lot more beneficial than going into this alone...Â
All that... And heâs just going to swallow his pride and not admit it? Allura found herself wanting to try again, and maybe try a little harder; however, she advised against it. She already said that she was going to stop, and by goodness, she was a woman of her word! Still this did raise a number of questions...Â
Has Keith been so in his own little world that he his body craved for the softness of human touch and or interaction? If so, how long has he been distancing himself from the others?? Did he even know prior to this cheeky teasing?Â
"Ah, thatâs a relief. Though, I must ask... Are you sure youâre not coming down with a cold? Itâs not that hot here-- if anything itâs moderately temperate.â Allura tilted her head to the side when it hit her... He was probably still flustered.
Ohh... My bad.
It was her turn for her cheeks to flush a bit in colour, but more out of embarrassment. âPerhaps a cooling drink from the kitchen would help with the... Warmth?â
search for your love <3
Allura made a dumbfounded face before scrunching away, letting out a heartful laugh. Upon their first meeting, she recalled Pidge calling her the princess of what? during dinner. There was no hard feelings, for Allura knew that she was acting out to see if the group could work as a team, but it was all the more amusing to remember.  When she calmed herself down, she straightened out and gave her friend a smile.
âOh, darling, darling Pidge. You know better than anyone that I canât stop you from telling me no; however, I am grateful that you agreed to let me accompany you.â Allura offered her arm to the smaller girl so she might lead her through the busy streets of the city capitol. Besides, she could help find the right shop or vendor so Pidgeâs trip wouldnât be so troublesome.Â
âSo you said youâre shopping for you mother?? What is it that she needed from New Altea??â
