I hate how crass people are when they’re discussing reproductive rights and by that I mean both the people talking about how a fetus feels pain and is crying out and feels betrayed and all of this shit AND the people saying a fetus is just a “stupid parasitic clump of cells” like do you think someone who has had an abortion wants to hear either of those things? Or someone who has miscarried, for that matter? Pregnancy is a pretty widely experienced thing so you’d think people would make an effort to handle discussions involving termination a little more gently but it seems more like almost anyone speaking on the subject is only actually concerned with producing the edgiest, most biting facebook comment humanly possible
