I like to imagine that Two-Bit joined the gang when he and Darry were really little in grade school. Like, Two-Bit was 5 and Darry was 7 and Darry just decided he was fond of having this silly little fella follow him around like his little brothers. And then his brothers actually met Keith and were also very fond of him and he just suddenly became Darry's 3rd little brother without question.

Then happy-go-lucky, very friendly Soda joined school and met Steve and instantly clung to him like a magnet. And then the next year, Johnny joined school and was instantly on Soda's "I need to befriend them and help them feel better" radar. Johnny didn't speak English properly because his parents hardly ever spoke to him at all, let alone spoke to him in English. Three quarters Mexican and one quarter Ghanaian in a school in the 60s with little English knowledge made him a massive target to students and teachers alike. He knew some English, but he learnt most of everything from being around the gang. Even during the events of the book, he has little hints of all their accents and idioms and such that he just picked up.

Then Dally moved back to Tulsa at 10 and got very close with Johnny, resulting in Soda hounding him and chatting bubbles to him all the time and adopting him. Two-Bit was surprised that Johnny was so comfortable around someone as scary as Dallas Winston, but Johnny was the only person in the world that Dally wouldn't ever think about laying a hand on.

Katara is living her BEST LIFE in the OG cartoon. She almost single-handedly finds and rescues the most powerful spiritual figure in the entire world. He thinks she’s extremely cool and offers to personally escort her to the other side of the world so she can learn how to waterbend, something she’s desperately wanted her entire life. She then gets the chance to leave her hometown for the first time EVER and travel the world, being dashingly heroic as she incites uprisings and kicks ass. She surpasses the Avatar in waterbending and becomes *his* teacher. She’s a major player in saving the world from the colonial power that tried to destroy her entire culture. The Avatar – again, *the* powerful spiritual hero she spent her childhood listening to stories about and hoping would return, whose life she has now saved multiple times – is her best friend and biggest fan, and she is absolutely locking him down romantically by the end of the series.

Katara literally cannot stop winning. Inspirational.

I feel like when the Curtis brothers were kids, they were one of those houses that was always loud, but it was when they were quiet that their parents knew to worry.

Pony being an unreliable narrator needs to be talked about more because we don’t need to take his description of every character as cannon, like for all we know Steve could be nice as hell but he only seems like an ass because pony made him seem that way. Also the hate because he was “mean to ponyboy” when he just wanted to hang out with soda without pony tagging along, and these guys are all friends he could’ve been joking but pony definitely didn’t see it that way.

Like a nice little website where people can read or see: blurbs, scripts, prompts, photos of costume designs, set pieces, world building etc

GIVE US WHAT YOU WANTED TO DO WITH THE SHOW. Share your hopes and dreams with us! We want it. I promise.

If we can't get the shows renewed or picked up by another studio or whatever then at least give us phone camera filmed scenes between willing actors. Give us the moments. Give us closure. Please.

It's my first animation project, which is why it took so long. I had to learn to animate to make it. It's only a bit over 2 minutes, but I made it the best I possibly could. Please please please watch it. I am so proud of it.

It's a trailer for my first novel- a late YA scifi/superhero book.

Is it absurd to make a fully animated book "trailer" for a book that's been out for 6 years, with voice acting and commissioned music (by the fantastic @plottwiststudios) ? I mean yes. Of course. I'm not even doing this for real marketing purposes because this is a ridiculous thing to do. I don't even really think it'll sell books but the process of making it made me really really happy.

I love my fictional disaster queers, and I love my book, and when I was a kid I thought I'd grow up to be an animator. I've always loved animation, and I really, really enjoyed making something animated myself. I'm really proud of how it turned out.

The serious part of me knows all four of them would have very enlightening debates with some firm disagreements, but overall a level-headed interaction. I think the concept of the importance of preserving life or if taking a life can be justified would be a big debate.
