A Late Christmas Gift * Damian
Donoven stared down at the packages in his hands, biting his lip lightly. They’d arrived just that morning, and now he sat on his bed as he stared at them. He wanted to get over this crush, and knew that as a kid he’d get nowhere, but that didn’t stop part of him from hoping. Ever since the Yule Ball he’d been avoiding Damian. He saw him once, just to ask if he’d gotten his gifts. Of course he didn’t, thanks to his damn bird, but he ordered replacements and now they were here.
He recalled talking about the gifts with him, how he had his hair ruffled. It irritated him greatly, and he wished Damian had never figured out he was only a first year. He looked older, that was certain, but he couldn’t keep playing it off as older.
So how was he going to give him the gifts? He didn’t really want to look like a pathetic kid, in fact he downright hated the idea. He didn’t want to seem young and silly and just a kid with a crush. No, he wanted to be taken seriously.
The only way he knew how to do that was to get his hands on another aging potion. Taking the gifts he slid them under his bed, hoping they’d stay hidden there while he set about finding someone to make one for him. There was one Ravenclaw in particular that seemed somewhat obsessed with him and kept offering to do weird things to him, so he figured he’d just use him.
After a couple more days of dodging not only Damian but Rodger, who was very adamant to ‘go down on him’ (whatever that meant), he was back in his room and looking at the gifts. He’d just finish wrapping them in a green wrapping paper and silver bows. They were all wrapped up in one package, the set of vials each wrapped in tissue paper, the green necklace with the potion that the Shop Keeper recommended laying on top of them. That potion gave off a particularly pleasing cooling feel.
Shoving the package into his book bag he also grabbed some clothes he had purchased to wear once he aged. Taking the aging potion he walked out of the dorms, out the common room, and out to one of the bathrooms not near his house. Once there he closed himself into a stall and took off his clothes. Standing there nude he took the aging potion, and waiting for the unpleasant growing of muscles to occur. He grew taller, his limbs longer, and that unfortunate body hair sprang out around his armpits and nether bits. Thankfully he’d never be able to grow a beard. One thing he’d never have to worry about.
He threw on the new clothes, said clothes looking almost exactly like his Hogwarts uniform. The only difference was that he threw on a button up grey cardigan that had no house colors on it whatsoever. He looked like he could easily walk into any house, which was the point.
Once he was ready and everything packed away properly he stepped out. His hair was shorter, rather similar to how his hair was in his original age. But oddly… Oddly it did look better. It framed his face nicely and his bangs curved around his face, making his face stand out where before his hair was the main attraction. His eyes looked big and rather blue, all together not a bad look.
Fidgeting with his hair for a moment he sighed. He was stalling. He needed to just go and find Damian.
And so, newly aged and looking pretty damn good in his uniform, he stepped out of the bathroom and went in search of the man with the green eyes.
