Leo rolled his eyes a bit, shrugging his shoulders. "You know, he can’t protect you all the time, or from everything. And he shouldn’t, really. How else are you going to experience things? I get that the internet is great for showing you things, but you don’t get much from just watching other people do things that you can do, too.”
He knew they were very different people, but being this sheltered and hemmed off from everything and everyone else couldn’t be good for anyone.
"We won’t be breaking any laws, Quasi — just…bending them a little,” he smirked.
Quasi nodded as Leo made his point. "You're right. I'm sure he knew this day would come eventually. Besides, I'm allowed to have fun once in a while, aren't I?"
More often than not, Quasi talked himself out of these sort of things, and for once, he actually talked himself into it.
"Okay, that isn't helping. I just got comfortable with this idea, so I suggest we get going before I back out."
