Leaving the only town he's ever known and his old friends behind, 16 year old Jonah moves into a small town in Scotland with his dad, Tim. He hast to deal with bullies, making friends, a new school, mental health, and on top of that he lost his mom due to cancer just a few months before.

Jonah watches life from the sidelines and drowns in his thoughts until two charismatic students become his best friends. They teach him a lot of things and help him grow as a person.

Sincerely Jonah champions and celebrates inclusivity and tolerance by showing both how people can blossom when they are accepted for who they are. Jonah learns how to appreciate the little things in life and he overcomes the fear of being alone without his mom to guide him through.
