I recently was interviewed about pop culture magic and magical experiments.
How to make a Servitor.
Servitors are artificial spirits that are made by the practitioner, and are used to complete tasks, or goals set by the petitioner to help him or her in their life, or magical practice. Before you jump right into creating a servitor there are things you must plan out beforehand. It’s a lot like building a blueprint. You don’t just start making the house before you have a blueprint. Here are the things you’re going to need to think about before building your very own servitor:
1) Purpose
Everything needs a purpose, and it’s your job to pick your purpose for your servitor. A purpose can be anything. You could want your servitor to protect you, or your family. You could want your servitor to help you pass a test. You could have your servitor torture people in their dreams… You know whatever you want. It is important to give your servitor a purpose, because it is dangerous to make a servitor without a purpose. If your servitor does not have a purpose it may go rogue, and we may have a situation like that Jewish story of "The Golem of Prague", who goes on a murderous rampage. Once you have your purpose feel free to move on to the next step.
2)Spiritual appearance
Now you must create an appearance for your servitor that it will take on the astral, and etheric planes of existence. It is important to keep in mind when making your servitor’s spiritual appearance that the spiritual appearance should reflect the task that they were assigned to complete. If the servitor is for better communication with your peers, then it’s spiritual appearance shouldn’t be a Azathoth looking creature, but maybe perhaps some type of human or anthropomorphic entity. Besides that the you can create any type of spiritual appearance you would like. Male, female, tall, short it’s up to you. You can even say “f*** it, and I’m making this one a shapeshifter”. So have some fun, and do whatever you would like. You also might want to draw a picture, or get some representation of their form once you decide upon it for later steps in the servitor creation process.
3)Personality
This one’s pretty self-explanatory, and again you can pretty much pick whatever you would like. All we’re going to do is think of some personality traits that you would like your servitor to have, like charming, intelligent, funny, friendly, loyal, etc… So this one is pretty easy, and now that I think about it I have no idea what happens if you don’t give them a personality. I guess they turn into Kristen Stewart, or something. Anyway pick out your personality traits that you like, and move on to the next step.
4)Feeding
You like to eat, so do servitors. Feeding a servitor is a lot like charging a Sigil. and you can use all the same methods in order to feed a servitor in the same way you use to charge a sigil. You can also set up some methods of feeding for the servitor that the servitor can do on their own behalf. You could tell your servitor to feed on something like sunlight, or crystals that you have lying around. Not setting up feeding methods, or not feeding your servitor will result in it going rogue, or it finding its own food sources which may not always be more preferable.
5)Lifespan
There are some people that say the servitors lifespan should not be very long, but in my experience this has not been a problem. In my experience servitors only act up once they do not have a purpose anymore, or if acting up is programmed into their nature, or if they are not being fed. Life span is very based on purpose. If you want your servitor to help you pass a test, then its lifespan should only be until after the test then it will return back to the energy of source. If you wanted your servitor to protect your property then you would need a lifespan that you can end at any time. So then you would need a phrase, or ritual to end its life when the time comes. This phrase, or ritual would not have to be elaborate. It’s never happened to me before, but being on a system like that one could in theory make the servitor want to have self preservation. You would be the only thing that could kill it. So if they took you out then they could go on living. I don’t know if it happens, or not, but that’s just a theory. A Servitor Theory! Thanks for watching…. <– (Tell me if you get that joke.) I always tell my servitor if they try to harm me or anyone I care about they will be terminated immediately. That’s a good enough safety net I guess let’s move on to the next step.
6)The Housing
Now we need housing to ground the servitor to the physical plane. Housing can be things like a rock, a staff, a doll, something you made out of clay, etc… Servitors by nature do not need housing, but it is better to have a physical representation of them for control, and feeding purposes. Housing can be anything, but I would stay away from certain metals because energy does not flow as good through them as it does other materials. It is also better to have a housing made, or created by you, and your hands. Once you find what housing you would like to use you are ready to go onto the next step.
7)Naming
This one is super simple all you have to do is pick a name for your servitor. Literally can be anything Meaningful, or otherwise. All you have to choose a name, and then you can move on to the next step.
8)Making a Sigil
Now you should make a sigil out of the name of your servitor, or out of the purpose of your servitor. You will use this sigil as a true representation of your servitor. If you do not know how to make a sigil you can always Google it, or you should be able to find it by searching back through my posts.
Once you have your sigil you can draw it, or carve it into your housing for your servitor. This would be recommended, but if you do not want to mark the sigil on the housing you can always put the sigil on a piece of paper, and put it underneath your housing during the “Bringing the servitor to life” step.
9) Bringing the servitor to life
Now we just bring together all the materials that we have gathered thus far into a ritual. First thing you’ll want to do is cleanse the area. This can be done through any cleansing method such as the Lesser banishing ritual, smudging, or clap cleansing. Next you’re going to want to cast a circle or use some other form of protection technique. Then you’re going to want to start charging your housing, and your sigil through any form of charging method. Now you’re going to want to enter a Gnostic state of consciousness where you can strongly in vision the energy that you are manipulating. Close your eyes, and in your mind’s eye begin to mold the energy into the spiritual appearance of your servitor. Strongly visualize every little detail of your servitor’s being. Then breathe life into your servitor by just intending for the energy to be alive and to be conscious. Once you have molded your energy into the spiritual appearance of your servitor, then in your head, or out loud call to the servitor. Tell the servitor it’s name, it’s purpose, it’s personality, it’s feeding methods, and it’s lifespan. More focus, and intention you use to create the servitor more put together the servitor will be. Now your servitor is done, and it is alive. Undo your circle, and before you send out your servitor for the task you want them to complete I usually wait one day, and feed my servitor a couple times. I find when I first create a servitor it is incredibly weak so I gave it one day to become a little bit stronger before it starts its task.
Laws of Magick
(From "Authentic Thaumaturgy" by Issac Bonewits)
1. Law of Knowledge: Understanding brings control; the more you know about a subject, the easier it is to control it. “Knowledge is power.”
2. Law of Self-Knowledge: The most important magical knowledge is about oneself; familiarity with one’s own strengths and weaknesses is vital to a magician. “Know thyself.”
3. Law of Cause and Effect: If exactly the same actions are done under exactly the same conditions, they will produce exactly the same results; similar strings of events produce similar outcomes. “Control every variable and you control every change – lotsa luck!”
4. Law of Synchronicity: Two or more events happening at the same time are likely to have more associations in common than the merely temporal; events rarely happen in isolation from nearby events. “There’s no such thing as a mere coincidence.”
5. Law of Association: If any two or more patterns have elements in common, the patterns interact through those common elements, and control of one pattern facilitates control over the other(s); the greater the commonality, the greater the influence. “Commonality controls.”
6. Law of Sympathy: Things that have an affinity with each other influence and interact with each other over a distance. “Everything is connected to everything else.”
7. Law of Similarity: Like produces like and an effect resembles its cause; having an accurate image of something facilitates control over it. “Look-alikes are alike.”
8. Law of Contagion: Objects or beings once in contact with each other continue to interact after separation. “Magick is contagious.”
9. Law of Positive Attraction: Like attracts like; to create a particular reality you must put out energy of a similar sort. “That which is sent, returns.”
10. Law of Negative Attraction: Like attracts unlike; energy and actions often attract their complimentary “opposites.” “Opposites attract.”
11. Law of Names: Knowing the name, you know that which is named; knowing the complete and true name of an object, being, or process gives one complete control over it. “What’s in a name? -Everything!”
12. Law of Words of Power: Certain words are able to alter the internal and external realities of those uttering them, and their power may rest in the very sounds as much as in their meanings. “A word to the wise is sufficient.”
13. Law of Personification: Any phenomenon may be considered to be alive and to have a personality, that is, to “be” an entity or being, and may be effectively dealt with thusly. “Anything can be a person.”
14. Law of Invokation/Evokation: It is possible to establish internal & external communication with entities from either inside or outside of oneself, said entities seeming to be inside of oneself during the communication process. “Beings within…Beings without”
15. Law of Identification: It is possible through maximum association between the elements of oneself and those of another being to actually become that being to the point of sharing its knowledge and wielding its power. “You can become another.”
16. Law of Infinite Data: The number of phenomena to be known is infinite; we will never run out of things to learn! “There’s always something new.”
17. Law of Finite Senses: Every sense mechanism of every entity is limited by both range and type of data perceived. “Just because you can’t see it doesn’t mean its not there.”
18. Law of Personal Universes: Everyone lives in and quite possibly creates a unique universe that can never be 100% identical to that lived in by another; so-called “reality” is in fact of matter of consensus opinions. “You live in your cosmos and I’ll live in mine.”
19. Law of Infinite Universes: The total number of universes into which all possible combinations of existing phenomena could be organized is infinite.”All things are possible, though some are more probable than others.”
20. Law of Pragmatism: If a pattern or belief or behavior enables you to survive and to accomplish certain goals, then that belief or behavior is “true” or “real” or “sensible” on whatever levels of reality are involved. “If it works, its true.”
21. Law of True Falsehoods: A concept or act may seem nonsensical and yet still be “true,” provided that it “works” in a specific context. “If it’s a paradox it’s probably true.”
22. Law of Polarity: Any pattern of data can be split into at least two patterns with “opposing” characteristics, and each will contain the essence of the other within itself. “Everything contains its opposite.”
23. Law of Synthesis: The synthesis of two or more “opposing” patterns of data will produce a new pattern that will be “truer” than either of the first ones were; that is, it will be applicable to more realities. “Synthesis reconciles.”
24. Law of Dynamic Balance: To survive and become powerful, one must keep every aspect of one’s universe(s) in a state of dynamic balance with every other one; extremism is dangerous on all levels of reality. “Dance to the music.”
25. Law of Perversity: Also known as “Murphy’s Law:” If anything can go wrong, it will – and in the most annoying manner possible. “If anything can go wrong, it will.”
26. Law of Unity: Every phenomenon in existence is linked directly or indirectly to every other one, past, present, or future; perceived separations between phenomena are based on incomplete sensing and/or thinking. “All is One.”
27. Law of Unintended Consequences: Whether or not what you do has the effect you want, it will have at least three you never expected, and one of those usually unpleasant. “There’s always something else.”
HP’s spells: the Patronus Charm
Hello once again, yes I know I’ve been away for quite a time, but as you can imagine a lot of things are happening and I was not able to sit and write something until today.
So, probably since I started this thread of Spells from the Harry Potter world, adapted in real life in the very spirit of Pop Culture Magick, you may have wondered when I would speak about the Patronus Charm. And here we go!
I’ve to say that this has been the easiest spell to adjust for real purpose and you’ll see why. In the Potterverse this spell is used to keep away Dementors which are negative entity who feed on positive thoughts of people until they’re left only with the bad ones.
That means that we can use this spell to banish negative energies and/or entities from a place or even from within. For me, performing a patronus charm is the equivalent of the traditional Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram (or its variations) that you can perform before to perform a ritual, or when you feel that something is around you and is up to no good.
How to cast the spell:
1. Of course you will need to focus on a happy memory (doesn’t matter if recent or old) that has to be intense, and need to make you easily feel good vibes. If not, because this can be hard for somebody, you can just focus on positive thoughts or anything you like and that makes you feel well.
2. Now, let this thought pervade your entire being, and your mind. Meanwhile you could visualise the wand’s tip starting to shine, just like a piece of iron that will almost reach the melting point.
3. Say out loud (if that’s possible) the words
EXPECTO PATRONUM
At this point release the energy that your positive thoughts will have gathered, and you can imagine the rest of the spells as follows:
a. just a light coming out of the wand, white as a fog, expanding in the space around you, pushing away any negative energy or unwanted entity. The wave of energy will expand until reaching the walls of the room where you’re casting the spell, or towards the infinite of your horizon in case you’re outdoor.
b. the Patronus can take a particular shape, and manifest as an animal. Now the question will be which form will your patronus take? Not like in the movies or the books, the animal will be one of your choice and that will feel special for you. If you have a familiar or pet, it could take that form, or you may want to use an animal according to the totem powers usually associated with them.
If you wanna try it a bit differently, the first time you’re going to perform this spell, don’t do it when actually needed. Instead, meditate and imagine yourself in a wood (or at Hogwarts ;) ) and call forth the Patronus. Don’t push it and just let the magick do its work and it will show you which Patronus you have. It will be your higher-self/subconscious or whatever you call it, to show you this “totem” and of course it could change during time, depending on your need, spiritual evolution etc.
The point a is very reliable when is about banishing from a place unwanted forces, while the second can be used in the same way (the light will come from the patronus and not from the wand directly) but the bonus here is that you can “see” the patronus fighiting with an entity if that’s what you’re trying to banish.
EXTRA USES: the Patronus could be left to guard a place, although this spell wouldn’t last for long period of time, but only as long as part of the witch’s focus is left on it. You can try as well to send psychic messages to somebody or as if it were a servitor, you can task the patronus so it’ll help out. You can send it also to protect somebody for a short period of time, if needed.
BONUS: if you’d like, and you’re on Pottermore, you can take the test there, and see what’s your patronus and if that’s of your like, you can use this spell using the animal you’ve got sorted there. At the moment is what I do, and my Patronus is a Nibelung Cat.
Also, you don’t need a wand to perform the spell of course. If you’re on the go, just use your finger, or only your imagination. And that is it.
What’s yours? Let me know how the spell goes for you, and I hope as always you can enjoy my article!
Magickal greetings to you all until the next post.
Could you please reblog this if you are a witch who isn’t Wiccan?
Here I am! :)
Lately I've been diving into Middle-age verbal spells and I am adapting them for modern use for witches of our century.
This one I'm posting is to make somebody leave the room/space where you are, whenever this person is annoying you or just for those people you can't stand really.
Try it out and let me know what do you think! Since it was used in the past I'm sure it has quite a charge but nevertheless I'd like to see others' feedback.
Soon I will start posting again about the HP spells in real life so stay tuned!

The Virgin and the Dragon
In Episode 4 of the last season of Game of Thrones, Rhaegal, one of Daenerys’ two surviving dragons, is shot dead by three piercing bolts. The death blow is delivered by a bolt that punctures Rhaegal’s neck from side to side, and a splash of blood pours from the beast’s mouth as he falls tragically from the sky into the sea below. This beautiful and terrible scene struck me as strangely familiar, as if I had already seen it many times before. Something about the imagery of slain dragons is rooted in our collective mind, and awakes memories of ancient tales we thought we had forgotten. But this scene reminded me of something in particular.
Since I first saw it, as a kid, on the cover of some book, I was always hypnotized by Paolo Uccello’s painting of St. George and the Dragon. The magic of this image resides in the details: the circles decorating the Dragon’s wings like those of a moth; the blood dripping from the neck of the wounded beast; its glossy, sorrowful eye; the thin spear of the knight and the even thinner leash that binds the surprisingly peaceful lady to the dying monster. There is something enigmatic, if not just plain confusing, about it: what is the relationship between the lady and the dragon? Why does the dragon have to die? After all, the same questions could be asked about Daenerys and her children. We may find some answers by interpreting Paolo Uccello’s painting – and, possibly, GoT’s last season as well – as an alchemical key.
Dragons have a long iconographical history in hermeticism and alchemy. A few associations that easily come to mind are the Ouroboros, where the serpent or dragon is connected to the idea of eternity and cyclical time, and the alchemical salamander, a mysterious being that can withstand fire without ever burning. This multiple association is not surprising, since often in alchemical texts images and words have multiple meanings. It is the case of Mercury, which is frequently referred to as being double: it indicates the universal solvent, or poison, needed to begin the alchemical Opus, but, in many cases, it is also used as another name for philosophical Gold, the universal medicine or Elixir, which is the coronation of the alchemist’s work. This lexical ambiguity is, in itself, a caveat on the deadly danger of undertaking the alchemical Work; the same substance that could grant eternal life has the potential to manifest itself as devastatingly poisonous.
The same kind of ambiguity surrounds the image of the Dragon; it is both depicted as the ultimate natural power, containing in itself the four elements and being able to grant complete control over matter and time, and as a deadly monster that needs to be slain so that the Work may be completed. Dragon’s blood is mentioned in the Rosarium Philosophorum as the fluid that can dissolve all matter, and, in this regard, is also identified with the first, poisonous kind of Mercury:
“Note this that no silver can be made unless first they be all dissolved. Secondly, that no solution ought to be made but in the proper and appropriated blood, that is, in water of Mercury which is called Dragon’s Water.”
Rosarium Philosophorum
The same association returns later in the text, clearly indicating the necessity of the death of the Dragon so that the Work may be completed:
“[T]he Dragon is born in his blackness and is fed with his Mercury, and killeth himself and is drowned in it, and the water is somewhat whitened, and that is Elixir.”
Rosarium Philosophorum
In this respect, the Dragon represents some kind of primordial matter, imbued with properties of dissolution and disaggregation, that can be unleashed and made available to the alchemist through a ritual sacrifice. This dismemberment is mythologically recurring, as we have noted elsewhere, and it often coincides with the cosmological beginning of order, reason and civilization.
Dragons are, in our minds, associated with fairy tales of young damsels in distress, that are abducted by a monstrous creature and are kept segregated from society until a knight comes along and brings them back into the world of men. This is, on a surface level, the story behind the scene depicted in Paolo Uccello’s painting. But, in alchemical symbolism, the relationship between dragon and woman appears more complex and elusive. In alchemical texts, the virginal quality of Mercury is often mentioned, and the same substance that is referred to as dragon’s blood is also indicated as virgin’s milk. These two aspects of Mercury, that of the virgin and that of the dragon, seem to fade seamlessly into one another. Are the virgin and the dragon one and the same? Yes and no. It seems that womanhood is intended as a transformative power that can bind the primitive, chaotic potential of the dragon into a productive cycle of forces. In a cryptic passage from the Turba Philosophorum, woman and dragon are buried together, so that they may merge and produce the philosophical venom required to begin the Magnum Opus:
“I also make known to you that the dragon never dies, but the Philosophers have put to death the woman who slays her spouses. For the belly of that woman is full of weapons and venom. Let, therefore, a sepulchre be dug for the dragon, and let that woman be buried with him, who being strongly joined with that woman, the more he clasps her and is entwined with her, the more his body, by the creation of female weapons in the body of the woman, is cut up into parts. For perceiving him mixed with the limbs of a woman he becomes secure from death, and the whole is turned into blood.”
Turba Philosophorum
Of course, a deep, troubling connection between dragon-like creatures and holy virgins recurs in christian iconography. One of the most commonly reproduced images of the Madonna shows her radiating in the sky as she steps over a snake, echoing the Apocalyptic virgin and the seven-headed dragon from the Book of Revelation. While we could understand this symbology as a representation of the Holy Virgin triumphing over evil, some authors, namely Peter Grey in his Apocalyptic Witchcraft, have argued that the conflict between the Virgin and the Serpent consists in a false dualism, and that their mysterious alliance is the key to access the alchemical universal medicine. Similarly, Eliphas Levi underlines the role of the Virgin in directing the blind forces contained in the original serpent:
“She who is destined to crush the serpent’s head is intelligence, which ever rises above the stream of blind forces. The Kabalists call her the virgin of the sea, whose dripping feet the infernal dragon crawls forward to lick with his fiery tongues, and they fall asleep in delight.”
Eliphas Levi, The Doctrine of Transcendental Magic
But this alliance, while it can result in a productive polarization of forces, clearly constitutes a deadly danger to civilization if not accurately balanced, as the tension between pious, fertile womanhood and destructive, sterile monstrosity is always unstable. Quoting Nyx, “[t]he path of heterodoxy and disintegration into infinitely many individuated particles begins with woman, Binah. This paradoxically makes it not merely that the weak Eve was tempted by the evil Serpent, but rather that the origins of Evil lie in Eve. Or rather, in woman”. The awareness of this danger is intrinsic in alchemical symbolysm, where the productive nigredo or putrefaction of the ancient dragon, activated by the catalyzing power of womanhood, can set off the unstoppable disintegration of all matter into fire and blood.
Daenerys’ arc in Season 8 can then be intended as an alchemical experiment gone terribly wrong. The Dragon Queen’s destructive madness is a testimony to the dangers of the Great Work; her ultimate sacrifice is the only way to save the world from devastation, and to guarantee the reproduction of civilization so that the wheel can keep on turning. Just like in the ancient tales of damsels and dragons, in the end the monster is slain, subversive femininity is aborted and patriarchal order is restored. If we wish for a different ending to this story, then, we need to experiment with a different kind of alchemy.
“In everything In nature there are three from two: the beginning, the middle, and the end. First the needful water, then the oily tincture, and lastly, the faeces, or earth, which remains below. But the Dragon inhabits in all these, and his houses are the darkness and blackness that is in them.”

HP’s spells for increasing/decreasing something
Hello guys, I hope to find you well. Today we’re going to talk about two related spells which can be used to increase or decrease something at will.
The applications of these spells can be quite versatile, so the witchling can use those in order to work with energies, to affect another already existing spell, or just to be directed towards a target.
I thought and used these enchantments for:
to affect my own energy during a ritual,
to have an influece on a specific energy
to reduce pain, or the effects of a illness during the healing process
to increase the healing benefits of a potion, spell or medicine
to reduce negative energies, or to increase positive ones
to extend energetically something
to work with one’s aura or your own
etc.
As I said the applications can be vary, since the main purposes of these spells is to increase and decrease something.
The word to increase will be:
ENGORGIO
The word to decrease will be:
REDUCIO
It’s a good practice to point your target with a wand while saying the words, and then drawing a sigil that will lock the target, or aim the spell to a specific effect.
Just remember that these work on something already existing, so for istance, if you’re using them to power up a ward you have placed on you or your place beforehand, that’s good, but it won’t create a shield (so don’t think about saying ENGORGIO SHIELD thinking that you can kind of create a shield, it’s not going to work that well).
A really good use is to increase or decrease somebody’s emotions, so you may well use it to REDUCIO fear, anger, mental pain etc as you can as well ENGORGIO courage, strength, attention etc.
While using the wand, it’s a good idea keeping in mind that while using the increasing spell you can move clockwise your wand, while anti-clockwise when using the decreasing spell.
And finally, since the nature of this type of magick, please don’t forget that it will reduce something to its minimum state, but it won’t make it go away completely.
In other words, if you’re using REDUCIO to reduce your fear, it will become little and then easier to manage but only as long as you’ll be able to make the next move needed to remove that fear it will disappear. Got it?
In fact, another spell to complete the REDUCIO one, can be EVANESCIT (alright I know it’s EVANESCO in HPverse, but that literally means “I disappear” and of course it doesn’t sound right if you’re using it to make something else disappear from your life/mind etc. But feel free to use it if you feel that that detail makes no difference for you, of course! :)
Have a bewitched day.
HP’s spell: The memory charm
Hi there, and welcome back to another appointment with pop culture magick. So today we will see the real-life adapted version of the memory charm, from the Potterverse.
First of all, this spell can’t really erase somebody’s memory, that’s obvious. But I know well how hard can be to detach from past experiences, especially negative ones when they won’t leave annoying you during the day. And Gods know how hard is to get out from a negative situation/period when you need first stop being attacked mentally by your own thought, before to begin the “scarring process”.
So, getting to the practical part of this post, what the witchling will need to do is to write briefly the memory or the situation that’s torturing us on a piece of paper (if you can, use flash paper and you’ll understand why in a bit).
Once the memory is written down, set up your altar and prepare for magick following your own tradition, and get ready having also your wand at hand. Remember also to have a candle on your altar, a good colour would be white.
Now, draw on the piece of paper a sigil you devised for the purpose or letting go bad memory, or you could make a sigil out of the spell word itself, that is going to be said in short. Or even simpler will be for you just to do a big red cross on the paper, making sure that this cross covers most of the text.
Now please point the wand toward the paper, and say firmly:
OBLIVIATE
Visualise how the bad memory is starting disappearing from your mind, vanishing slowly but inexorably. You can see it as a bunch of dust being dispersed in the wind. While you are visualising you can keep saying the spell, murmuring it or outloud, as you wish. While you do so, please rotate your wand anticlockwise, to seal magickally your action and will.
Now burn the paper, and if you’re using the flash paper it will burn leaving no ashes behind, representing this way what is going to be the fate of your bad thought. If you cannot find flash paper (you can find in amazon and it’s quite cheap) regular paper will do as well. In that case toss the ashes in a river, at the sea, or even flush them away in the toilet.
And that will be all. Depending on your will strength and the memory itself, the spell could need more repetion before to start sorting some effects. If you like to work with the moon phases, the waning moon is a great moment to perform this spell.
I hope this can help you guys, to find a new light in your life without being stuck in the past. As I said, it’s impossible to erase a memory from our mind, but it’s not impossible to detach it from our heart, and accept whatever happened for what it truly is: an event of life.
Stay strong witches, and see ya in the next post!
A sigil I made using my alphabet of will (the characters are shown below the sigil and can be used as part of it if wished) to create general protection.
The word to activate the sigil is PROTEKAD.
HP’s spell: Binding enchantment
Hey guys, what’s up?! So here we’re again with another spell from the Potterverse, and as you can read from the title, today we are going to talk about a binding spell.
I have to say, that there are many spells in the Potter world, that can be adapted easily for binding a situation or a person who wants to harm us (physically, socially etc). So what I’m doing now it’s studying what shades we can give to the different spells belonging on the binding category (or as they’re often called in Harry Potter books, freezing spells).
In order to perform this spell, you will need a picture of your enemy or something that represents what’s hurting you and a thick thread or ribbon. You can choose whatever color you will find fitting, but I would suggest black or brown.
Once you’re ready to start (if you are used to draw a circle, then do one before to start, or perform your usual rituals before to start the core of the spell), begin by folding the picture or the symbol of your “enemy” slowly while pronouncing or chanting the verbal spell:
INCARCERO (from the original incarcerus)
Keep going until the thread/ribbon has finished, and the picture or symbol is completely wrapped. And that is all. Yes, it’s that simple! Now you can keep the artifact with you or bury it away in the countryside. You could even burn it if you feel it to be more appropriate. And you should know by now that I change a little the original spells if I feel that’s needed, but if you prefer to use the original spell as it appears in the books or the movies, feel free to do so of course!
Please NOTE that this spell is not meant to harm the enemy or the situations that is blocking you. The effect of the spell will be only to stop that person or those groups who generate a situation, that is harming you whether that being a physical harm or psycological. Either way the spell will stop them, and keep them at bade.
Another little variant to perform, and without a thread/ribbon, would be to create a sigil and then have on a paper the name or simbol of the object of our spell (if it’s a situation you can write a little resume of it). Thinking at the verbal spell you can draw a sigil you will have made out of the word INCARCERO or INCARCERUS on the top of the paper, just where there is the name/description of what must be blocked. Then point your wand and recite firmly the spell, and then burn the paper to seal your magick.
This was short I know, but I will come back soon with something different, you know it. As always please don’t hesitate to write me if you have questions, and let me know if you put in practice one of these spells, and you simply wanna share your opinions and experiences. :)
Bye!
HP’s spell: How to avoid being overheard by anybody
Hi guys and welcome back to another post of Harry Potter spells for real life witchlings.
Today we’re going to talk about the anti-spy spell (I like to call it this way). From time to time you may need some space and most of all some privacy when talking to a friend, and maybe you’re in a croweded place with lots of people, like it could be a coffee-shop.
And we know, that sometime we have some people around, that instead of minding their own business, they like to hear people’s conversation instead. Annoying uh?!
So, it’s in those circumstances that we can use this spell from the Potterverse to avoid people overhearing whatever we’re saying. I do believe that this spell can be also used to avoid people to be nosy, and end up finding us in the middle of a ritual for istance. So the main purpose of this verbal charm is to keep away eyes and ears while we’re doing something and we want to grant our privacy. You could even use it to make a sigil, and keep it in your computer/laptop to keep away web unwanted attention.
The word to activate the spell is of course:
MUFFLIATO
While you pronounce the word/spell, imagine appearing a subtle bubble of energy that creates a space around you, that covers you like if it were an isolating material. Like if you were in one of those recording studio, sound-free.
The spell needs a bit of your attention in order to keep working for longer period of time, so if you will need it for a longer amount of time, then repeat it from time to time, if you feel it’s wearing off.
And that’s it for today. As always let me know if you need me to answer your questions, or if you’re curios about something.
See you all in the next post! :)
“Banish the negativity away.” Sigil Sunday! May this sigil be in your favour. ♥ Feel free to use it, but please don’t post it as your own. Thank you.
