Hecate is a goddess in ancient Greek religion and mythology, most often shown holding a pair of torches or a key and in later periods depicted in triple form. She was variously associated with crossroads, entrance-ways, light, magic, witchcraft, knowledge of herbs and poisonous plants, ghosts, necromancy, and sorcery. SShe was one of the main deities worshiped in Athenian households as a protective goddess and one who bestowed prosperity and daily blessings on the family. Shrines to Hecate were placed at doorways to both homes and cities with the belief that it would protect from restless dead and other spirits. Likewise, shrines to Hecate at three way crossroads were created where food offerings were left at the new moon to protect those who did so from spirits and other evils. X

We call you, Hecate.
Hecate (Ἑκάτη meaning ‘Worker from afar’ ) was the goddess of magic, witchcraft, the night, moon, ghosts and necromancy in greek mythology. She was the only child of the Titanes Perses and Asteria from whom she received her power over heaven, earth, and sea. Hecate also assisted Demeter in her search for daughter Persephone, guiding her through the night with flaming torches. After the mother-daughter reunion she became Persephone’s minister and companion in Hades.

There had to be something with the weather these days. As yes the goddess did have a look at the alters crafted to her. She did watch over the faithful even more closely now. She was masquerading as a student at Baxter High come to it. So she should not have been surprised when she had leaned to look over the offerings that a snow ball came out of no where and impacted on her dark cloak, she gave a startled laugh.
Spun on her heels to look around she reach to make a ball of snow of her own. Patted to the proper shape in gloved hands. Even as color touched her cheeks. She had found certain delight in this game that the mortals and non mortals partook in. "I thought one is suppose to scream a battle scream or something before attacking another with snow ?" she called though she scanned the area wisely choosing a tree to duck behind that had no snow on the branches to drop down on her.
Meanwhile, she keep an eye out for Emilia to toss the ball of snow in her hands at.

Harvey knew he shouldn’t. He felt bile rise in the back of his throat as he faced her. What was he doing? Her sort of magic was the very thing that ruined his life. The thing that took his brother away from him. So why did Harvey go seek her out?
Maybe it was because he knew that if anyone could bring Tommy back, for real, it could be her. The one he heard Sabrina call the Goddess of Life After Death. Maybe Harvey was just making things worse on himself.
He knew magic did this to people; tempted them. But lately he’d been finding it hard to ignore the pull — at least when it came to this one thing. Harvey felt sick to his stomach, and it took him a long moment before he could fully answer.
“No.” Harvey shook his head, tone as shaky as he felt, echoing against the strange walls. “I don’t want the dead. I want someone alive again.” Not some zombie version of the man he once knew. “Can you do that — for real? Bring someone back?”
She had been in Greendale, since those that were faithful to her were in Greendale. The Pagan menace was going to cause issues. So what if she decided that wanted to have a go at high school again. She had enrolled. Still most people knew there was something off about Katt, the boy's were into her or terrified of her no in between. It made it harder to make friends. Kat, openly looked like a witch, she didn't hide it. She wore dark clothing, and dark eyeliner and bright lip gloss, but there was something more mature to her. She didn't seem about the Hex half the school for a slight.
She was known to Sabrina and her aunts, she had paid them a personal visit. So she was certainly surprised that a witch hunter's son came to her door. Her familiar was out and about as he often was. So she was in the Black Cat Bistro by herself, it was her own but rumors were her parents owned it. Silver eyes went a touch wide at Harvey's question. He was so eaten with this, his world had been shifted and tilted and his heart made fragile. She sympathized with the boy. The normal greeting of "Welcome to the Black Cat Bis--” died on her lips. He wasn't here for a cup of coffee, or one of the famous dagwoods.
She looked around the empty place and two fingers flicked towards the door and the closed sign flipped. She wiped her hands and stepped from behind the counter. "Anything is possible, with the proper incantations, and the proper application of magic." she answered him seriously. "I am guessing Sabrina let slip who I am ?" she stated rather than asked. She brought two mugs of coffee with her as she motioned to one of the tables. "I'd appreciate if it was just Kat--out there." she motioned to beyond the Bistro's door. "Also at School."
Long black skirts swirled around her booted feet and she made for a side table with the two mugs. One for her and one for him simple white cups with black cats silhouetted on them. The brew was just Autumn Blended Coffee but hospitality was always going to go far with Kat. " You do know that there is always a cost ?" it was a refresher. Though Hecate did not follow the same rules as the witches who prayed to her. A hand motioned to the seat across from her.

It was a nice day for a walk outside if you were a Frost Giant. Hekate, or as she was known in these parts Kat had to go to the coffee shop. What coffee shop called in workers when it was cold enough to turn coffee into snow. (She knew this she had tested this yesterday) and so she wasn’t paying attention to the familiar. If she didn’t have to ingrain herself into a small group of mortals, she’d simple make a duplicate of herself and be done with it. She was to busy contemplating this, when there was a sudden sound.
Sort of like a whoosh sound. She didn’t even notice the magic behind it..at first. She turned in time to be nailed dead center with a snowball. “What the...” she squealed as the snow went down the collar of her coat. That was just a well placed throw.
Quickly silver eyes scanned the yard, and the tree line, only to catch sight of black fur. She thought she recognized that fur or at the very least the presence of magic..had a cat just tossed a snowball at her ? . “HEY, I SAW THAT.” she raised her voice so she could be heard.
Rather be a responsible adult, she turned on her heels and bolted after the blur of black fur. A snow ball fight with a cat was more interesting than listening to whiny teenagers complaining about their lack of a social life after all.
