This is a place to acknowledge the reality of fat bodies and appreciate that they are everywhere! I stand for the normalization and reclamation of fat, but if we reblog a picture of you and you are not comfortable claiming "fat" as your descriptor let us know and we will remove it. Fat people come in a range of sizes and races and all sorts of other intersecting identities and descriptors; we strive to be an inclusive space, but please call us out if we fail in this or any other way.

I did a photoshoot last year for the Annual Report of one of the places I do volunteer work and they sent me through the photos yesterday. It’s a pretty weird, stilted pose because of how they were going to use the photos in the report but it was a fun shoot (especially fun to actually go in and see people for the first time all year).
