Smarty Pants, Preschool Workbook, Ages 2 to 5, 84 illustrated pages from Alisa on Vimeo.
Smarty Pants Book 1 and Book 2 - are books with test tasks and exercises that will help assess your child’s knowledge and skills and identify, which skills require development. All tasks are grouped by topic: math, speech development, sensory perception, the environment, attention, thinking, motor skills, physical development.
The series Smarty Pants are meant to make the learning experience for both adults and children fun, interactive and enjoyable. We don’t want to use the word “studying” because it might carry a negative connotation for the child who still wants to just play and explore at the pre-school age. This is why these series are very visual, using colorful simple illustrations that should be recognizable by the children from the little experience they had with real life at this tender age. Designed and illustrated by working professionals in design fields who work in publishing, every illustration is thought through with a child and a parent in mind to make it fun, enjoyable without knowing it’s a study book but rather - a play book full of fun, engaging tasks and exercises.
The books are designed to complete simple to complex tasks, but in a fun manner. They will allow you to check whether your child has basic knowledge for the age. The books offer exercises to evoke and strengthen basic knowledge of the surroundings and train basic skills. You can work with your child step by step and independently assess your child’s level of preparation.

This is a snip-it of a session: A View on the World: One-on-One with Airbnb’s Brian Chesky. Featuring Brian Chesky, Cofounder and CEO, Airbnb Moderated by James Vincent, Founder and CEO, FNDR After leading his company through a successful, mid-pandemic IPO, Airbnb CEO and cofounder Brian Chesky is positioning his company to remake travel once again. Here’s how Airbnb is tapping into flexible work and our renewed sense of wanderlust to inspire new ways to explore the world. Let me ask you a question - hasn't anyone stayed at an Airbnb locations at least once? So, you can imagine the excitement to meet the man behind the Airbnb idea and, now, empire and learn not only how it all started, but also how did they survive the pandemics and how they are continuing to evolve. Chesky was very honest and approachable in sharing his personal story of becoming one of the most known and respected people in Silicon Valley.

Featuring Gabriela Hearst, Founder and Creative Director, Gabriela Hearst; Creative Director, Chloé; and Daniel Humm, Chef and Owner, Make It Nice. Gabriela Hearst and Daniel Humm discussed their forward-thinking approaches to sustainability, the role of innovation in their work, and the ways they are seeking to elevate the conversation around climate change. I was very excited about this particular talk. I've been following Mrs. Hearst rise from being Creative Director for Chloe to starting her own brand Gabriela Hearst based on artisans' work and sustainability. She's been a force in fashion industry behind all the sustainability efforts around "less is more" and how every single household should take a look around and figure out how to not to contribute to the increase of landfills. In her opinion, and I agree, it's better to invest in one sweater than five, because the mass overproduction has been killing our planet, our environment. The same goes for food. According to the nonprofit organization Feeding America, Americans waste more than $218 billion each year on food, with dairy products being the food item we toss out the most. The average American family of four throws out $1,600 a year in produce. (Source: https://www.rts.com)

This is a snip-it of a session: Halloween Reboot: How a Hollywood Legend and a Horror Hitmaker Continue to Slay. Featuring Jamie Lee Curtis, Actor, Producer, Author, and Activist, Comet Pictures, and Jason Blum, Founder and CEO, Blumhouse. Jamie Lee Curtis is an iconic woman. Period. She changed the way women are portrayed in horror movies. She's been also very honest about aging and women in Hollywood after a certain age, the way they are treated and the roles they are offered. She once agreed to be on a cover of a magazine More ONLY if they would not photoshop her and let her be as she is, no make up, nothing, with gray hair and everything. She wanted to give women confidence and show what it takes (a village) to make a woman in fashion magazines and movies look they way they, mostly, do - beautiful, wrinkle-free, toned, skinny, perfect. But, in most cases, it's far from the truth. Here she talks about her latest Halloween installment - Halloween Ends, and how she wanted to show the violence as it is. She has been a role model for many. Her other point that she concluded the talk was the influence social media has on young people. She believes that it's destructive to the vulnerable young people, because they see perfect lives, perfect people, perfect financial and family situations. This, again, could be far from the truth, but the damage it creates - could be deadly to many, resulting in depression and, sometimes, even suicide. Her Instagram is as real as she is, so follow her here: https://www.instagram.com/jamieleecurtis. The latest Halloween Ends trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s0vtb....

Featuring John Foraker, Cofounder and CEO, Once Upon a Farm, and Jennifer Garner, Cofounder and Chief Brand Officer, Once Upon a Farm. Garner shared her journey through motherhood/parenting when all she needed is healthy quick foods/emails for her children. This is how the idea of Once Upon a Farm has come around. And now, all parents can have healthy alternatives for the kids. Organic baby meal products delivered to your door. There's still a lot to do because it's not yet available at all the grocery stores, but it will be, according to Foraker, Cofounder and CEO of the company. It was a great pleasure and honor to learn from Eichner that this is the very FIRST time that a major Hollywood film studio invested and produced a film that addresses gay couple and gay issues. It's a major step forward to recognizing a rising number of LGTB members of USA. According to Gallup: 7.1% of U.S. adults identified as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or something other than straight or heterosexual in 2012. The percentage has steadily increased since Gallup first measured LGBT identification in 2012. Now, go see Bros: https://www.brosthemovie.com now. You will thank me later.
