Hi there Sorry to trouble you. I know I have asked already but I am short on votes in the Richard Branson competition I'm in for my maths website. HegartyMaths - Hello!

Hello Tumblr!

Welcome to HegartyMaths’ debut blog. A phenomenal innovation - but we need YOU to achieve our vision: the number one website for maths teaching to students aged 8-17 in homes and schools across the UK.

Maths is a life differentiator for young people and, all too often, they can struggle to succeed in this subject due to lacking confidence and that bit of extra support. HegartyMaths is a free website for students to learn maths and pave the way to realise their life ambitions.

We have banned the word “can’t” on HegartyMaths because with our excellent maths explanations, practice that is just the right level for the students through careful scaffolding and challenge and by being presented in a way that a child can visually see how well they are doing, it becomes “can”.

HegartyMaths is an absolutely fantastic, first-rate but most importantly 100% free website for students to tackle maths problems they thought they never would be able. We have helped so many students but our goal is take this to the next level with our brand new site launching in September 2015. Your success as students is our passion and what drives us to take this even further but we need your help.

Teachers this site will enable you to support every student like no other website and track their progress and usage of the site.  It will be an excellent tool for homework, intervention or blended/flipped teaching.

Hence we need as many votes for our developing project in Richard Branson’s ‘Pitch to Rich’ initiative.
