Gelboys did make me want to punch my screen every week but omg I loved it🐜
Some random thoughts after just having finished the finale:
Such a raw portrayal of teens, relationships, feelings and social media, that made me want to never go back to being a teen haha (especially not in todays climate)
Going on this journey over the last month and a half has truly been STRESSFUL but also so much fun
I can see small parts of myself in all the characters (mostly in Baabin…) and I think that is one of the reasons why it was so frustrating to watch these characters do stupid stuff, cuz I can somewhat feel what they are coming from (not always tho lol) and you do care about them but also want to punch them lol
Even tho I was kinda hoping that none of them would end up together, I am still very happy with the ending, seeing them finally smiling together without all the drama was really healing tbh
The directing, acting, writing, editing, cinematography, styling, soundtrack and EVERYTHING else was truly a piece of art
I had very high expectations going into this show because of the directors past works and it did NOT disappoint
Such a refreshing show (especially from Thailand) that felt so real and authentic
A part of me is happy it’s ended (cuz of how much stress it gave me ahahha) but I’m really gonna miss these stupid kids and their drama (I wouldn’t say no to a special episode where it’s just them being happy for like 30 min…just putting it out there👀)
Anyways, ty gelboys for making me scream, cry, laugh, sweat, swear and once again reminding me that I never want to be a teen again lmao
I feel like I need to get my nails done now💅
