hhhmmm ––– yuck. did this guy know that eggs were expensive? ben flexed his fingers against the kitchen counter, eyes fixed on the gas burners. ' he feels the fabric graze against his leg and scoots into the counter — autopilot move, whatever. one time mum told hughie to watch the bacon she'd put on for louis, brother far too good for watching an oven. ' i was cooking bacon for my brother once, ' (before he purposefully burnt food.) ' but i completely singed it. actual charcoal, no bacon to be found. my mom was so mad that i just ate all of it to solve the situation.
