In case you don’t know, ‘tone’ is how people tell what someone’s saying, even if their words don’t say it. Kinda like how you guys tend to say ‘question’ or ‘statement’ or ‘joke’ and such after saying things

Humans use ‘tone tags’ online since for some things it’s hard to tell what other people intend, so we put sorta shortened version of it

Like how if we want to convey it’s a genuine question, you might put /genq as short for genuine-question, so the person knows it isn’t sarcasm or such, and a real question. ‘/silly’ was basically just entering this with a playful tone, since I already knew you had tumblr
