The 72-year-old British actor also had roles in shows including Merlin and Little Britain.
British actor Anthony Head, best known for his roles in TV shows including Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Ted Lasso, Merlin and Little Britain, has died at the age of 72. Head found international fame as Rupert Giles in hit supernatural teen show Buffy in the late 1990s. He went on to have a recurring role in sketch show Little Britain, play king Uther Pendragon in the BBC's Merlin, and appear as former football club owner Rupert Mannion in Ted Lasso. "He passed away peacefully of complications due to pneumonia, surrounded by his family," his daughters Emily and Daisy said. His daughters' statement said "it is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of our extraordinary father". They added: "It has been, and forever will be, an honour and a privilege to be his daughters, and to have witnessed firsthand the impact both he and his work have had on so many." They also said they knew "how dearly he will be missed by friends, colleagues and fans of the show he was in", adding that he "loved his job very much" and "always considered himself incredibly lucky". His family acknowledged that "his legacy will live on" and said they considered themselves "lucky" to have watched him doing what he loved throughout his career. Head's other credits included The Iron Lady, Persuasion, The Inbetweeners and Manchild.
RIP anthony head, you will be missed.
The King is dead :(
Explain the Skulduggery Pleasant series and/or characters for everyone who doesn't know it but really badly.
Random preteen meets an old ass skeleton man and ragebaits him into taking her as an apprentice. This girl is also the antichrist
I normally talk about Stormlight...
But I do enjoy other media, and other parts of the cosmere. Specifically, I quite like Mistborn Era 2.
Mistborn era 2, the book series about the mildly sad hand of God who is probably one of the best gunslingers in all of fiction. And his best friend/adoptive son/weird brother who puts frogs in boots and will beat you to death with a cane.
Of course you can't forget the autism and anxiety combo deal who will plan out literally everything in extreme degrees, and almost certainly has a sub contingency for a hurricane during a nuclear war that happens to cause an ammo factory to explode sending a single .45 long colt round hurtling into the atmosphere, landing next to Wax and mildly startling him while in a gunfight on the top of a train.
I love everyone in this series and I could spend hours yapping about them. But I won't.
The greatest joke in all of fiction is in book four of mistborn where the low class kleptomanic main character is being chased by people "from the bank" for nearly half the book until it is revealed that the accountants claim he has too much money and beg him to PLEASE invest in SOMETHING
Wayne. The man, the myth, the legend. Always remember, Ain’t no fellow who regretted giving it one extra shake, but you can bet every guy has regretted giving one too few. 🫡
Finished Era 2. And brought out the actual paints. ShinHan Pass hybrid watercolours on Fabriano paper.
I might have burned cadmium while painting this, as it sure as hell didn‘t feel like six hours. (Disclaimer: don't drink paint. I didn’t.)

SCROLL BACK THIS IS NOT A CLIP FROM THE ANIME!!! THIS IS FANART!!!!
I'm gonna say something incredibly 30-year-old and I'm going to ask you to not judge me while I'm trying to be genuine and real. Okay? Here's my truth.
A piece of lettuce can really elevate a sandwich. The fresh crunch? Unrivaled. Peak. Poetic cinema.
not using AI genuinely feels like the rest of the world is experiencing some kind of mass amnesia. if someone says they never use it, the immediate response is that can't be true because "everyone" uses it to write their emails or answer their questions. saw a comment suggesting that not using chatgpt to write an essay is "like the 90s". girl I graduated in 2021 and we weren't doing that! how is it that everyone has suddenly forgotten that they were entirely capable of doing these things all by themselves for their entire lives up until the past few years!! am I going crazy!!!

Sometimes it’s hard to read fanfic when you’re studying herbalism.. when they have the character preparing a tincture to use that same DAY!!?
Baby those dried herbs need to sit in that jar with high proof alcohol for at LEAST a month!
That’s why before the use of calendars ppl use to prepare their tinctures either on the new moon or full moon. A a full moon cycle is usually 28 days or so. And they would give the moon names so it’s easier to remember when/what month said tincture was bottled.
This is also why herbal medicine is prepare in small batches. You have to take your time preparing your bottles. Making sure everything is clean so you don’t end up with mold. Diluting your grain alcohol. Heckkk knowing when to pick your herbs for max potency! Drying your herbs! That takes a lot of time too!
I didn’t mean to rant lol
No, this explains literally everything to me, thank you.
