oooohh heck yeah!! thank u sm for the love (and the prayers for my artist wrists) and i’ll strive to keep the helios fandom alive as long as i have to — i gotta keep the handful of helios fans fed cuz im also starving 😭

1: helios headcannons!! 😮‍💨

for silly cuz im indulgent

- helios’ tattoos glowing in correlation to his emotions (other than glowing due to his powers, its cliche but i love imagining helios literally glowing when flustered 😭😭😭)

- helios absolutely adoring animals, especially cattle and horses

- helios being the ‘nesting’ / protective type. especially w alvaros, like constantly picking leaves off alvaros’ hair or making sure the plume of his helmet was neat … just subtle stuff since he doesn’t want to admit it

- i have this idea that helios isnt much of a eater, like, he doesnt have to eat that much in general, but hes a snacker. instead of big meals, he prefers small soft baked goods or crackers

for more serious ones (intended to be closer to character)

- helios is hard to read, unless he’s irritated. like, its impossible to tell if he’s sad or happy, he has a very neutral expression on most of the time. but if he’s irritated? its incredibly easy to tell. he tries to be calm and collected, the warm and honourable god the people praise him as. and most of the time he is.

but if someone crosses him or even something as little as doing something a little annoying. he doesnt tell you, no, he just becomes really passive aggressive and petty in a very sassy way. also his body language gives it away … and if it’s bad he could just literally blind you for life so 🤷‍♂️ that makes it obvious he’s mad

- helios can change his voice to be much louder and more booming, for speaking to subordinates or for commanding. but he also gets this, idk how to explain, godly rumble to it. i based that part on how his voice wavers in gow3 just before kratos rips his head off so listen to that and youd understand what i mean lol

these are the hcs i can remember off the top of my head… since i’ve never wrote them down before 😭😭😭 but i’ll probably make a standalone post adding more if i ever think of more cuz this guy has been in my head for toooooo long

2: what would alvaros think of kratos? … welllllll this would, other than the fact alvaros isnt canon, have to be a hypothetical

alvaros dies before he’d ever meet kratos, due to… a freak accident (im still working on it lol) but! i know what alvaros would think of kratos

if alvaros was alive :: alvaros would fear but respect kratos -> then hate his guts for obvious reasons

it’s kind of hard to explain but alvaros would definitely look up to kratos for his ruthlessness… until it’s turned onto rhodes (and then his god) and then alvaros would then despise it greatly, and himself, for not being stronger

also i do get worried that i make helios a little too ooc sometimes. its hard to make a good read on a character that shows up so little, and most of his screentime is either when he’s been altered due to pandoras box or the manifestation of him that was made from the mind of the person who killed him and hated him greatly. but i also believe i have some bias due to adoring him and constantly daydreaming of him in romantic situations
