let me start at the v beginning with his parents :P
his mom was 19 when she got knocked up and his dad was hardly responsible either bcos he was only a year older so when the stick read + they were initially like yike !
eventually tho, the joy nd nostalgia surpassed the anxiety so they got rl hype and started planning 2 b first time parents <3
they moved out of their parents houses and settled down in the lil suburb of burnaby in vancouver and his dad picked up some shifty job chopping lumber and whateves and his mom was a receptionist like. just picking up the first jobs they found
so 9 months in on august 22 this white binch was born !!
he was raised in vancouver, he a canadian binch a rl canuck wears toques and drinks mickeys nd plays hockey
his life wasnt in shambles growing up like he had a home and everything but within the walls it was more sorta :$
he lived in a residential area, rlly quaint 4 the most part, but that meant neighbours could hear the shouting and fights most nights
it started off as just like lil bickers about bills and stuff and how they rushed into everything and sometimes helios would hear them saying stuff about him and how he was the reason they were what they were so he grew up with this lil bit of guilt like :-/ o no .. i’m the reason they fighting .. gtg ..
when things got too much he was told 2 go play outside so he grew familiar with his neighbourhood and the kids around and could show u where the sickest parks were
spending so much time outside, he grew 2 love the vancouver rain and the lush green and the surrounding mountains and just ah xx nature even tho my ass fricken hates outdoors so let me watch some bear grylls 2 kno what its like 2 nut when u step outside
around age 11 his dad started getting physical with things and would turn on his mom and him in a second if they so much as said the wrong thingz so he grew up a liar from all the excuses for the bruises and lack of parent signatures or whatevez
his dad was between jobs and was the typical dead beat and his mom grew hella distant as time went on bcos lowkey she rlly did blame helios 4 wrecking everything and it didnt help that he was a spitting image of his dad so those same feelings she felt towards his dad were paralleled in him and she would try 2 support him and be the nurturing maternal figure but at times it was just like sike
when he was 16 tho his mom became pregnant again and he thought it would change things bcos hey a new baby sister and all that
his dad didnt budge, he was still nasti as h*ck but his mom loved ione (the baby) so much and he knew she loved her more than him but he didnt mind bcos he jsut sorta knew that as a fact throughout his childhood that his mom never rlly cared for him as much as she should have so he was ok about it
he was hella enthralled by his sister tho like he loved her sm and swore 2 b the protective big brother and all that jazz :P
3 yrs later his mom and dad are arguing again and in the midst of it all he gets kicked out of the house just like old timez but with more vigor and curses so he leaves and lets them yell until theyre out of breath and tire themselves out
when he gets home later that night he expects to see what he always does, his dad passed out on the couch with some cigarette butts and bottles around him but its different there’s too much blood it’s too quiet and he knows something is wrong
so ofc he checks his sister’s room first and when she’s gone and there’s blood in there too he is jsut.
he doesnt know how long he’s sitting there all crying his eyes out before he hears his dad come into the house and he confronts him about it and his dad is about 2 jump on him too when helios gets into action and like . makes his dad turn the gun on himself kinda thing u kno .. like in action movies where they grab the wrist and all that
he calls the cops and tells them his story but twisted a lil bit bcos he aint about 2 go down for that and so they rule it as a murder-suicide and find that his dad tried 2 bury his mom and sister’s bodies in the woods and came home 2 off himself and all that when rlly.
his parents weren’t made of money but what they did have he inherited so he packed up and came 2 echo lake ;)
tbh he wasn’t planning on staying long bcos he was gonna b more nomadic but he met sienna and they kinda hit off a nice friendship so he stayed
ok now let me delve into his personality so i can finish off his tragic ass back story
he’s manipulative as h*ck and a liar liar pants on fire hanging from a telephone wire
it was just in his life all the time 2 lie and cheat and steal what he wanted like his dad wasnt the best influence so he worked with what he had
he’ll use people to get what he wants no matter the consequence like if u get stranded on an island he will shrug nd b sitting comfortably on the boat and think “hm, tragicc.” before u kno what hit u
ok think of alison from pll .. i never watched the show but from what i gather .. i think he’s probs like tag urself i’m alison
he’ll like just give u enough 2 get by like make u feel comfortable, get u on his good side but chances are he’s working 2wards something bigger
if he aint trynna use a person he’s usually cold and bitter and stirs the pot just bcos
so anyway, the whole thing with his sister and dad rlly hardened him and shiz and he’s almost like desensitized like if it isn’t anger, everything he feels is rlly muted and lowkey
he likes the feeling of being in control since he always lacked that and so yea :P
his friendship with sienna wasnt rlly much of a friendship he basically befriended her bcos she was always spoiling him with shit and he indulged in her so he wasnt about 2 leave echo lake if she kept on doing what she did
so back 2 the back story .. he stole sienna’s phone when she was about 2 call the police and didnt even blink doing it
he’s indifferent on the whole matter like death doesnt affect him as much as it should and when the whole news started coming up around town about them he had 2 fake cry lolz
2 sum it all up: tragic white boy. canadian. basically no emotions other than bitter. nuts for nature.
