can we talk about how vol. 1 is full of flashbacks? it's not even a whole flashback scene where they just replay stuff from other seasons (which would be lazy) but more like a flashlight flickering through the characters' minds, sometimes without any sound. you could call it a thought.

i saw someone on twitter saying that finn wolfhard said he has a long monologue this season (link to the tweet), which i don’t think we’ve gotten yet. is this person correct? if so… do you guys think we're getting a whole byler monologue paralleling the m*leven one, but this time full of real memories and flashbacks?

i'd like to watch this interview if it's real because i don't remember it.

some people keep twisting robin’s speech and it’s honestly hilarious, because the show literally spelled it out for us. robin wasn’t giving some coded doomed romance monologue, she was talking about self‑acceptance. her whole point was: “you need to love yourself to be ready to love someone else. don’t be scared to be who you are, and you’ll be free.” that’s about identity, not mike being will’s tammy.

i'm pretty sure they broke up some time ago. (i'll try my best without google translator because i have to write it quickly)

look at how mileven was treated differently from the other ships on volume 1. joyce is worried about hopper in the ud most of the time (when she's not trying to protect will on her own way). lucas and max have their highlights and think about each other and they want each other again. the stancy/jancy love triangle is all about how the boys are uncomfortable around each other because they both want nancy. robin is so in love with vickie and she's struggling having time with her, and she's also sharing a little with will. mileven is just... there, i guess. they're not thinking about each other when they're apart like the other couples. they just seem very friendly and that's all. i think will is one of the only people that knows they're not together anymore. and that's why he wanna try. he has hope (after seeing rovickie) and he's looking for clues. he wants to know if mike feels the same. i think will wants to make a move. he was very moved by robin and he wants that kind of love too. i hope that makes sense because that's how i see mileven: they're just friends and have other priorities now.
