She was okay with waiting until Damon died to get her hands on the cure, what she wasn’t expecting was for Damon to die so soon and his attackers sell the cure on some black market. Luckily for the blonde, she had some very trusting friends that kept an eye on that kind of thing and eventually word got around to her. She didn’t care how much money she had to sink into it, as soon as she was made aware of it the blonde made the call and secured the cure. She didn’t dare keep it away from her, knowing the lengths people would go to to get it. So she kept it tucked tight with her. She felt as if a weight has been lifted off her shoulders, and it was a cause to celebrate. Walking up to the bar, she beamed her smile at the bartender, “We’re celebrating today.” She hummed, looking over to the person next to her. She didn’t care if she knew them or not, she was in a good mood. “Whatever top shelf stuff you have, I’ll buy a round for everyone.”
Stefan had known Rebekah almost as long as he’d known Klaus- which was a long while. While Klaus thrived as an immortal, Rebekah seemed to miss the things she couldn’t have, like children. Melody proved there were ways around giving birth to biological children, but Stefan could understand wanting one or a few of his own. He’d been heartbroken when Valerie told him about his baby she’d been made to lose. "Okay, I’ll bite. What are we celebrating?” He spoke up from a few barstools down. He didn’t think she’d seen him when she walked up so he made his presence known.
