"Let's Go" is a gritty, melodic rock song about the uneasy space between longing and movement. Built on distorted guitars and late-night urgency, the song captures the moment when staying put hurts more than taking the risk of moving forward.

There is something very special about this record. Especially now. Everything about this record, from the beautiful cover, to the first through the last song. It will make you laugh, think, and cry and cry and cry. If not, you'd better check your pulse. This record (A Rose Is Still A Rose) came out in 98' before 9/11 - before the Iraq war, before Bush and Obama, before BLM and yet, it speaks to everything, love, war, change. It's no shock that Aretha Franklin's work is everlasting and eternal, but that said, THIS particular record has the ability to just boil in this beautiful uplifting and otherworldly positive way. Its not a heartbreak record, and its not a feel-good record, its just a fucking damn moving and beautiful record.
