I wasn’t going to post anything about the call out post that was made last night, but considering people are now simply making up theories of those involved due to the muses they play, I don’t feel like playing the quiet game anymore. As a disclaimer, because I feel it needs to be said in any post regarding the recent call out, I do not support genderbending, transphobia, racism, whitewashing, or bullying.  The fact that people on this site want to pretend to be adults when they’re rubbing their hands and drooling over the next slice of drama is disgusting. Especially considering there’s no critical thinking skills being used over a baseless, out-of-context, weak call out post that, while demonizing several people who have been nothing but kind and welcoming to all members of this community, also supports and uplifts a handful who are notorious abusers, stalkers, and thieves. Sorry, but I’m not going to sit here and support petty, groundless drama-mongering, nor am I going to support the stalking and anon hate that’s taking place because someone isn’t “taking sides,” which is absolutely appalling.  If your attitude toward this is to only take one side and not the other, or you believe in black-and-white purity politics, please block me. Somehow, someway, Eddie would have to pay his little friend back, and while he wasn’t entirely sure if that was in a positive or negative manner, it was slightly weighing down on the latter for the embarrassment caused. Yet the aggravation worn was quickly traded in for delight, mainly so Archie wouldn’t get the wrong idea, but also because… Well, he and Eddie rarely, if ever, had proper one-on-one time, despite being on friendly terms with one another. Maybe, just maybe, he should be thanking Dustin for setting up this little excursion in the woods after all. They weren’t too far from Skull Rock either, now that he thought about it. ❝ Always been a trickster, that one, ❞ Eddie mused through a chuckle, rolling his eyes for effect. Slowly he meandered through the thicket they’d met in, arms loosely crossed over his chest. ❝ Had to have learned it from somewhere… I mean, maybe he got it from you? ❞

"it wouldn't kill you to stop acting like you want to make love to satan on stage you know..." ironic to come from jason's lips as he's pulling his shirt back on after a long night with the band's front man. but he figured as long as he's sleeping with the enemy the least he can do is try to further the cause of his group. how he ended up here, he's unsure. one moment he's protesting, a sign in hand, bullhorn in the other, yelling about how satanist ideals kill good americans, the next he's falling into bed with the very person he was supposed to be boycotting. it was all very complicated and jason's conflict went deeper than just this transgression. still, even as he's suggested the tone down he's leaned over the bed, his lips pressing against eddie's. "and if you mention me by name while you're on stage tonight, i will break another of the ten commandments tonight." he warned before heading towards the door.

Eddie’s ideal type had always been the ❛ untouchable, ❜ even back in high school. Back then, it was the jocks and cheerleaders he swooned for, falling into the occasional secret fling or hooking up with at parties. Now? Now his affections and lascivious desires fell on the cute, little Christian protestor who seemed to have a raging hate-boner for Des Cultes, always targeting their signings and shows. It was the perfect plan; seduce and destroy. And by destroy, Eddie really intended to sleep with him as many times as possible until Jason fell head-over-heels for the frontman, and soon they’d be inseparable, despite their differences— Gross. ❝ It wouldn’t kill you to nyeh-nyeh-nyeh-nyeh-nyeh— ❞ The mocking ended with a raspberry, heavily accentuated by a jerking-off motion over his groin. At the attempted admonishment, Eddie rolled his eyes in distaste, yet he couldn’t help the closed-mouthed chuckle or the tiny mischievous smile he wore. ❝ Part of you likes it though. Admit it. You like the innuendos, the hip thrusts, the special eye contact—all of it. ❞ The teasing was part of the package when it came to wooing an ❛ untouchable. ❜ Each one seemed to enjoy having someone hang from their shoulders, nit-picking everything they said and pointing out all their shortcomings instead of worshipping the ground they walked on. And it seemingly worked on Jason, having him in bed so frequently. They’d even moved up to meeting at the bar every once in a while! A success, really.  ❝ But I’ll think about it, lover boy. Just fo— ❞ Words were muffled for a second, interrupted by lips on his. And suddenly, Eddie’s stomach swarmed with man-eating butterflies, and he lost the will to keep making fun. So maybe this was what Heaven tasted like; a thought that bounced around his head every time they met like this.  And then it was gone. ❝ Wh—H-hey! ❞ Stunned by whiplash, Eddie stumbled out of the hotel bed, still naked. Tangled sheets were quickly balled up in front of himself for some semblance of modesty, despite everything they’d done the night prior (and it was filthy, absolutely filthy and wild). Jason couldn’t leave, not yet, not like that, not with a threat that Eddie needed to counter. He dashed past the younger, all but shoving him aside, just to block the exit. ❝ No. Nope. No can do. A? You only get one. One! Option. Either I don’t mention you or I don’t talk about wanting to get railed by Satan. Not both. And B? ❞ Fingers found themselves tugging at the hem of Jason’s shirt, pulling him closer for a kiss, and another, and another, and another... ❝ And B... Leave me with more than a weak threat to remember you by, hm? Maybe, oh... I don’t know... A repeat of last night? ❞

“𝐈’𝐥𝐥 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐲 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞.”

Voice was basically a murmur, blue eyes glancing over at the rest of Corroded Coffin while Eddie stood In front of him; asking if he wanted to come inside with them for a second. There wasn’t anything he needed, or wanted from inside, so staying in the garage while they ran inside for a few minutes. Really; they didn’t all need to go, but, whatever, he wasn’t going to complain ( he was only here for Eddie, anyway).

A kiss was pressed to his own lips and he gave a soft grunt before he watched Eddie and his friends go inside, a sigh leaving his nostrils as he lit a cigarette, taking a good, long drag before exhaling, icy gaze flickering over to the now vacant bass guitar on its stand, brows knitting together for a moment. Not very many people really knew that Billy played bass—he was forced to get rid of it when he was sixteen. Typical; Neil was never supportive. Surfing, music, any of that shit was not what he wanted his son to be into, and when your father was abusive, you were forced to listen, no matter how much you didn’t want to.

Billy pocketed his lighter, allowing the cigarette to burn out between his lips as he approached the bass, picking it up and slinging the strap over his shoulder. It had to be like riding a bike, right? As in, once you knew how to do it, you couldn’t forget. Besides, he was just interested in pulling a few chords and putting it back before the band came back in to resume their practice.

It was easy to get distracted by playing the instrument. Fingers moved against the strings of the bass, brows knitted and tongue gliding across his lips in concentration. Billy was good. Probably better then most people would have thought. It seems he didn’t forget to play, even though it had been a few years. It felt natural; he missed it. He was so focused, not hearing the door from the house that entered the garage open behind him.

Knowing that he wasn’t entirely used to being around the band just yet, Eddie didn’t like the thought of leaving Billy alone. Not that he thought his boyfriend was a child, no, but Eddie, despite his eccentric reputation, always tried to make sure that everyone who talked to him was involved in his circle, that they felt included. Maybe it wasn’t such a big deal today, however. They were just taking a little smoke break and grabbing cold drinks to ward off the stifling heat in Gareth’s garage, and it’d really only be a second… Billy should be okay, right? And not get into any trouble in that miniscule amount of time? Yet once inside, Mitch got the band chatting around the kitchen island, riled up in a whimsical rant. Eddie hadn’t noticed that nearly ten minutes had passed until he glanced at the old clock hanging in the dining room. ❝ Jesus fuckin’ Christ. Come on, Foghorn Leghorn, let’s get the fuck outta’ here. ❞ And as they scrambled back toward the garage, they finally heard it. Eddie first, then Jeff and Gareth, and finally Mitch, who bumped into everyone from behind. The smooth, steady rhythm of a bass guitar, echoing from the garage. Jeff shot Eddie an incredulous look, to which he could only shrug. As if he had any idea… That Billy was a… Bass God? The love of his life? His sun, his moon, his stars? Literally the man he was going to wine and dine for the rest of his meaningless existence, followed by the next, and then the next? That’s exactly what ran through Eddie’s overheated and now overstimulated mind as he and the band stepped into the garage, only to witness the unholy sight of Billy plucking a four-string. Like never before, he was swooning, and he couldn’t contain his next words, aimed at the three men surrounding him. ❝ I think you need to leave. ❞ As Gareth retorted with a ❝ But it’s my house! ❞, Eddie harshly pinned a finger to the younger’s lips and shushed him loudly, causing the other two to devolve into a mess of cackles. Now he could focus on his magnificent, talented, beautiful (and also dangerous) boyfriend. The band could be heard talking amongst themselves, drifting in and out like static waves on the radio, the words lost, though there was some jumbled combination of awe at Billy’s abilities and worry he’d fuck up the bass, whether accidentally or on purpose. Whatever. As Eddie slowly eased up to his boyfriend, he turned up the charm, fangs bared in a smile that screamed ❛ fuck me ❜ or ❛ love me, ❜ or both (it was both). ❝ I gotta say, I’m thoroughly impressed. How’d I manage to score you again? Did all the Satanic rituals help? Praise be! ❞ he joked, stupidly leaning against the wall in anything but a casual manner. Whipped, he was whipped, and it was painfully obvious, even under his usual flirtatious tone. ❝ But no, really, where’d you learn to play like that? And why the fuck did you never tell me, huh? Seriously, we should—we should do something together! ❞

Mustache twitching somewhat with a repressed smirk, Dmitri didn’t appear to be too bothered by the somewhat joking response. Did he really need to know the details to this game? No. Yet, the other was certainly PASSIONATE about it, as much as his previous explanation got lost in translation pretty quickly. A WORD SALAD, Dmitri was starting to get familiar with the sensation since he had arrived in America. Still, at him being willing to repeat, he turned his attention to him as he furrowed his brow somewhat, listening as he explained this game again. “This game is like…make-believe, then?” he asked when he paused to let him catch up, “You mentioned DICE before? Like cards?”

❝ Exactly! Make-believe! ❞ Excited that Dmitri caught on, he clapped his hands together, the sheepish smile from before now growing up to his eyes. Feeling as if on a roll, Eddie continued to keep the explanation simple, brief (at least by his standards and not a normal person’s), the same as he would to any first-timer who seemed a little turned-out by his overzealous and long-winded rambles. ❝ And the best part is, each game is different. The person who makes the stories never repeats them, so the game always feels new and exciting. You still follow the same general rules when playing though. ❞ ❝ Think of it like… ❞ He paused then, glancing to the side. He hoped he made sense, and that if he didn’t, the elder would keep asking questions instead of shooing him away. Maybe he had some ideas that Eddie didn’t! Ones for a future campaign, more mature and rugged from someone twice his age. ❝ As, like… Well, do you have any kids? It would be like always trying to come up with a new story for them every night before bed, but you both play different parts. ❞ ❝ Anyway, there’s no cards. But the dice? They help you make decisions. Say you come to a crossroads that splits four ways. Each way is assigned a number, you roll the right dice, and that’s where you’re forced to go! ❞ And as always, the wordy metalhead had his dice set sitting in the inner-left pocket of his leather jacket. They were lucky charms, at this point. Quickly they were procured, scattered across the flimsy table in Dmitri’s direction, glistening red in various shapes. ❝ So… what d’you think? You mentioned cards, so I bet a set like this could make your games with buddies much more wild. ❞

Ten years, they had been together. Four years they had been married. Billy not once ever thought they would make it this far, or that that marriage was in the cards for him at all. And though Hawkins had been abandoned by them so long ago—as much as Billy hates that shithole filled with monsters—he was grateful for the outcome it provided. For if they had never moved—If he had never entered that town; he didn’t think he would be here in Santa Monica today, owning a house, a successful auto shop business—and especially married to someone he knew he couldn’t live without.

These early mornings in the kitchen always gave him time to dwell upon the memories of old—from the days where he thought he couldn’t stand Eddie—remembering how much the little freak would get under his skin—to the day he realized that he really was in love with him. Their arguments, their best moments…Billy wouldn’t have given those up for the world. Because in the end, there were still here—together. For the first time in a very, very long time—Billy was truly, truly happy. And he had Eddie to thank for that.

The sound of the coffee pot brewing cut the silence of the room, a drag being taken from his cigarette as Billy pet their black cat, Gizmo ( Eddie named the fucking thing ), scratching behind his ears as he slept and purred. He had just gotten out of the bathroom; smelling of aftershave. A soft hum left him before he felt arms tightly wrap around him, a smirk forming on his features as he glanced over his shoulder.

“𝐑𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞.”

There was amusement in his tone before he took one more drag and put it out in the ashtray, gaze flickering down to his husband’s fingers that curled into his tank. Some things never changed, did they?

“𝐄𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐞, 𝐄𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐞, 𝐄𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐞.” He purred his husbands name before he turned around in his grasp, hands finding their way to Eddie’s hips and pulling him flush against him. Mischief glinted in icy blues, head tilted ever so slightly. “𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐮𝐜𝐤 𝐚𝐦 𝐈 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐢𝐟 𝐈 𝐝𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐚𝐬𝐤, 𝐡𝐮𝐡?” Billy mused, the grin on his face widening. Of course he knew what he wanted—this was almost a ritual at this point. Still, it was fun to bug him. Billy never really grew out of that. The younger sighed softly through his nose before he leaned down to press his lips against his husbands, a soft groan rumbling his throat and fingertips digging into the older’s hips. He just couldn’t help himself—Billy loved Eddie fully. Completely. Wholeheartedly. He could never get enough of him.

He’s tired. Holy shit, is he tired. Pretty much exhausted. The bags can be seen under his eyes, and today he had been a little moody in comparison to his normal self, which meant he was starting to pass the 72 hour mark. A groan left him as he collapsed upon his brothers bed, sighing dramatically and moving an arm to cover his eyes. Ugh.

“I’m exhausted,” Robbie complained. He knew that Eddie would just tell him to go the fuck to sleep, but that’s the last thing he wanted to do. He hates the nightmares—they’ve been getting a lot worse, lately, and so this was the best way he could avoid it.

“I dunno how you sleep, man. How the hell do you endure it?”

❝ It’s called a cocktail of the finest drugs Rick has to offer, chased down with whatever rancid-ass cough syrup we got and a little OJ, ❞ he mumbled, deadpan. Intent focus lay on getting just one (1) more sentence down on his new character sheet. A gentle hum filled the room until he tidied up the last paragraph for his unholy paladin, and then his attention finally shifted to the bundle of limbs on his bed that he affectionately referred to as his big brother. Despite the little snort of amusement, Eddie’s brows tiredly rose in concern. Always concerned, he was, though Robbie did try his best to be the eldest. A lot of the time, however, it fell on Eddie’s shoulders to be the caregiver, the one with common sense, the brave one, the one who provided comfort in the middle of the night when they awoke from their shared nightmares. Sighing, he scooted across the floor and sat cross-legged beside his mattress, only to reach out and roughly rub circles over the eldest twin’s torso with a few love taps tossed in for good measure. Ever since they were kids, that usually helped either one of them, but Robbie looked as if he were a little beyond baby comforts tonight. Normally, he wouldn’t suggest his batshit-crazy smoothie concoction, as he was the one who was notorious for experimenting with harder drugs while the other chugged Jolt, but... ❝ Need the recipe, man? Or you just looking for a cuddle and a half-assed nap? ❞ he asked, already unfolding his legs to climb onto the bed and flop down opposite of Robbie. Eyes closed for a moment, enjoying the coolness of the pillow against his cheek. ❝ Your ol’ Eddie Bear’s got some fight still left in ‘im for the day. Think I can knock out a few nightmares for ya’. ❞

She reaches up to grab him by the face, hands cupping his cheeks and easily drawing him down to press a warm kiss to his lips. She holds it a few moments then breaks away, small smirk on her lips, "Good job out there, handsome."

After every show, no matter how insanely exhausted he was, Eddie always eagerly ran outside to talk to fans, letting his appreciation for them be known.
