Trans Edric Headcannons.

I'm trans and a friend of mine sent me a post about "Emira and Edric are mirror/identical twins so they would've been assigned the same gender at birth so one of them is trans." And that got me thinking so as an Edric lover and a trans guy here's my Headcannons for Trans Edric.

Early Life.

When he was young he noticed things..he didn't like the girly things he was given, like dresses, or dolls, or whatever stupid 'Girl' Toy his parents got him. As he got older, he was around 7 when he realized that something was wrong..he wasn't wrong just his gender was, he of course told Emira and his younger sister Amity although she was a bit young to understand she did. Emira actually cut Edric's hair and their mother was furious with Emira but Edric couldn't be more happy and that made Emira happy.

Coming Out

Edric told his dad before his mom, his father was surprisingly accepting "Any new name? What do I call you now?" Edric smiles. "Edric. He/Him and I'm your son.." His father nods. "Okay, just know things will be very hard for you this way but knowing your siblings and you..you'll get by." They share a hug.

His mother however wasn't so nice, she yelled, she berated him for hours and kept yelling his birth name, that he'll forever be her daughter and of course Edric didn't sleep much that night..or the night after that. Of course she eventually came around, even if slightly she allowed him to start testosterone in the form of potions, it's very nasty to drink but hey it helps

Telling the boyfriend

Edric was nervous the whole day and Jerbo of course noticed, and he asked Edric what was going on. Of course Edric spilled everything and actual ended up crying, telling Jerbo he understood if he wanted to break up, not date him anymore or if he was angry for 'lying' to him about his gender. Jerbo breaks off his boyfriends rambling. "Edric it's okay..I don't care if you're trans..sure I'm a bit surprised but I still love you..I'm dating you for a reason." He kisses his cheek, "You'll always be Edric Blight to me. My loving boyfriend, that won't change." Edric hugs his boyfriend tight. "Thank you..I love you.." He smiles, "I love you too."

Remember, you're loved, you're valid and if anyone tells you otherwise it's okay to tell them to talk to the glyph, witch. Love you all ❤️

Someone asked for sick Blight siblings headcanons so I'm gonna do a list

Amity Blight. When Amity is sick she's just..there dying in sickness, she's stuffed up, she's just laying there sick and her siblings immediately know what's wrong, Emira is getting started in soup and Edric makes sure she stays in bed because she's stubborn. After a while of being sick she's very impulsive and has little to no filter. Her siblings find it very funny, and they'll stay with her until she's feeling better.

Emira Blight.

When this girl is sick it's not obvious at all until Edric sees her being a bit more slow in classes or just in general, that's a tell tale sign. When Amity funds out she'll just lecture the absolute hell out of her older sister, Edric right behind her and they just take care of her and Amity still lecturing her off and on. Viney comes over when she's sick, as at this point she's practically just Dr. Girlfriend so Emira.

Edric Blight. When he's sick, he just tries to deny it until it goes away, never works obviously and his sister's know because he's terrible at hiding it because like Amity he's very impulsive, well more so than usual when he's sick and he tries to help his sister's take care of him but they don't take it.
