Project modernises the DIY internet, allowing to host your own webpages with a cheap mini-server and easily design your sites:
Web 2.0 promised that everyone could become a media publisher, but had exactly the opposite result: Today, most people’s web content is locked into the proprietary services of only a handful of Internet social media giants. The early Web culture of self-made and self-hosted homepages has almost disappeared.
SuperGlue is a user-friendly platform, which allows you to make your own websites and run them from a mini-server installed in your home. What this means is that SuperGlue bypasses dependence on unnecessary mid-service providers, which cost money and control your data. SuperGlue allows you to create highly personalized web and define how you share it with the others.
Creative potential here is big (art projects, cultural scenes etc) - interesting to see what could be developed …
