Why not go back and psychotically go over my favorite scenes in every episode? (with gifs!) Part 2 of me losing a lot of time looking for wincest in every single episode while reacting in real time to it.
This is not an intelligent review, it's not theory crafting, or any sort of meaningful critique. This is just me being enthusiastic about scenes I like and me having fun making gifs!
Overall
I generally didn't find the plot too interesting this time. Wendigos are interesting and all, but the secondary characters just weren't doing it for me. Sam looks so serious and worried the whole episode I started to physically feel it...
The scenes:
Sam being so annoyed at Dean for being worried about him was a highlight. He looked like he might explode at any given moment. Dean was surprisingly calmer than what I would expect. Or at least he looked like it, but every time he stares at Sam for too long you could SEE the worry in his eyes.
grrr he was like let's get to the point please.
"Why are you barking at me all of a sudden..."
He can feel his brother's eyes on him. Dean can't say "You look really sad and angry and I can't do anything about it and I wasn't able to protect you from it so I'll just look at you silently."

Ohhh the cuties ever. I wasn't able to gif every single scene I wanted in this part but the whole "Our family is so fucked up the only way to feel better is by making other families happy." sounds cute on the surface but then it shows so well how it is a faulty coping mechanism that was never about being a savior or being a good person for others.

Okay, that's all!! I don't know if I will do this for other episodes because it is a lot of work. But I had fun making this (again)!! It's also a good way for me to remember everything given this show is so long, I want to enjoy it slowly. I'm making this mostly for myself. If I keep making this I'll focus on the wincest commentary bc it's the most fun to write!
