The ABC's of HelloJoey! Y is for You as a Parent. Parents have within them an inherent wisdom about what's right for their family. Parents also have to recognize that their child is an independent person and that they will develop to grow their own sets of values and preferences.

X is for Xenodochial. Xenodochial is an adjective describing something such as a person that is friendly to strangers. Some kiddos we know are friendly to strangers, others tend to have more of a "stranger danger" attitude. Every kid is different.
The ABC's of HelloJoey! W is for Wake Time. It is important that the time that your child spends awake is as nurturing as possible. Their days should be filled with fun, but also plenty of opportunities for valuable teaching moments.

V is for Village. It takes a village to raise a child.

U is for Understading. Understanding yourself and your child can help you all become more connected. Take a step back and look at yourself, and then take a step back and look at your kiddo.
The ABC's of HelloJoey! T is for Team. A family unit is a team. Teams work together to help each other grow.
The ABC's of HelloJoey! S is for Secure Base. A Secure Base is the idea that parents ideally create a sense of safety that allows children to explore and experiment in their learning.
The ABC's of HelloJoey! R is for Resilience. Kids are pretty resilient. A resilient child will be able to persevere when problems arise, overcome obstacles, and ultimately be able to bounce back from adversity.
The ABC's of HelloJoey! Q is for Quality Time. Quality time is extremely important in any relationship. Spend quality time with your spouse, your child(ren), and your families to help foster more connected relationships.
The ABC's of HelloJoey! O is for Oops. We all make mistakes. Last week, we forgot that O comes before P. As parents (and social media posters), it's ok to follow in the footsteps of our toddlers - say oops and move onto something else.

The ABC's of HelloJoey! M is for Mental Health. Be mindful of everyone's mental health. Taking care of yourself is important so that you can be better equipped to take care of others.
The ABC's of HelloJoey! L is for Love. Love one another no matter what, and show this in your everyday actions.
K is for Knowledge. Knowledge is what our parenting app is all about. We believe that arming parents with research-based parenting insights, hearing stories from other parents, and getting actionable tips helps parents connect better with their children.
The ABC's of HelloJoey! J is for Joey. A Joey is a baby kangaroo. Kangaroo youngsters climb back into their mother's pouch, even when they aren't babies. A larger joey will help take care of their much smaller pouch-mates. Parents provide them all of the safety, and security.
