Today’s vegan breakfast was really amazing: One whole grain bagel topped with some organic avocado from the farmers market, freshly grounded pepper, a tiny bit of sea salt and creamy white balsamic vinegar besides some fresh straw - and raspberries (I had way more than pictured). Such a lovely treat after a stressful week full of exams and studying. Have an amazing day, xx Amber

An unusual Scottish method for creating a tower of sweet peas. Twigs from last year’s trimmings are bundled together into a “teepee” shape; the sweet peas will completely cover the twig trellis within a month or so.

Spring is a wonderful time to visit Great Swamp National Wildlife Refuge in New Jersey. Located just 26 miles from New York City’s Times Square, the refuge consists of 7,768 acres of varied habitats, and the refuge has become an important resting and feeding area for more than 244 species of birds.
