Random Thought for Today
I had a thought today as to why Us females go for "bad boys" or "fuck boys! This thought is from my recent reading of the Fifty shades of Gray trilogy. "Bad boys" or "fuck boys" allow us females live our thoughts or fantasies in which society says we cannot have. Let me explain what I mean by this, we are put into these little boxes as women. Which throughout the ages set a presidence of what we can or cannot do or what we can or cannot think. One of these is the exploration of our sensuality and our ambitions. Stereotypically a "bad boy" or "fuck boy" does what he pleases, drives a motorcycle, and appears to want to turn every "good girl" bad. I stand against this mentality in the sense that it doesn't make "good girls" bad but allowing them to enact what they are thinking and hesitant to try. In fact in 1953, the book Sexual Behavior in the Human Female by Alfred Kinsey, Waradell Pomeroy, Clyde Martin, and Paul Gebhard did the world find out that women actually thinks about Lex and get horney-just like our male counterparts. So my hypothesis is that this is why majority of women have a "bad boy" or a "fuck boy" in their past. They allow women to express their inner most wants and desires free of judgement and when those relationships are done we walk away with some new found knowledge about ourselves that solidify who we are as individuals with our own wants, needs, and desires.
