He didn’t have a job outside so he could avoid that. Life was good, he made decent pay enough to cover expenses and a bit to put away for the rainy day or when his health bill was too much. Fruit helped.... that was the part the doctors couldn’t explain, why the fruit alleviated the symptoms. He had always been pale and stick like, but he figured he just couldn’t keep on weight.

His service dog was an enormous fluffball named Cerberus, though he didn’t start out so big, what had once been a five pound fluff had become a hundred thirty pound mass of muscle and fluff. Cerberus was a very protective dog and while he says that he saved Cerberus it was the other way around. He still thinks it was a dream, there was no way that the dog’s mouth unhinged and swallowed a gun.

Days passed the same, either working at the Bar, tending his bees, or playing video games till the crack of dawn pierced his red-eyed gaze. He attended the local university and was making his way in getting a doctorate in History. Having been praised for his writing and essays. The most common was, “you must have lived there in a past life!!!” He chuckled but honestly his dreams were rather vivid of things he shouldn’t know. Sorry terribly sorry, the knights I think have gotten carried away. Forgive my appearance I have hardly slept a wink since the children were born. I just, I can’t they need to be watched and cared for, and they are up often , they are getting their teeth in.” He rambled.

“Darling who is it?” Jane asked coming to the door a knife in hand from chopping in the kitchen. She had a very Tim Burton esq sleepiness to her appearance much like Will. “Oh you must be Ashe? Hades sent me a text saying you were coming over and you made food! What a dear!” Jane looked delighted.

Will had been helping keep the children from crying and had gotten them to sleep again while Jane had been fixing up a batch of cookies for the visitors.

Will smiled only to hear the sounds of a pair of babies shrieking. “They have woken again, we tried everything, orajel, willow tea infused blood, numbing rings.”

The babies were already the size of a one year old and nearing the twenty pound mark. Not that they were underfed vampire children were always on the lighter side of things till they reached walking ages. Will went and got them holding the tinies close, “shhhh shhh,” he tried to soothe them to no avail.

"red trays are vampire specific meals and have heating instructions written on the sides so that you and the missed just have to pop one in the oven and have a decent meal, the silver ones are normal for guests make sure the ones you don't use Tonight go in the freezer to be used at a later date" Ashe told him when he shrieking started again she approached the two cradles to see the babies and scooped up kitty in an attempt to help comfort and the infant hushed almost instantly and then carefully Ashe did the same with Fitz taking him into her other arm and a strange sense of peace swept over him as well . Ashe had always been good with kids, no idea why she didn't even particularly like kids simply tolerated them really but kids enjoyed her presence she even had found Felicity poking around the kitchen when she visited either of her father's at work in hell
