feels kinda weird how homestucks are so quick to say bad things about the nymphs including things like their "savagery" and different sexist/transmisogynistic/reverse racist labels while participating in the time old tradition of seeing characters who are all meant to be upperclass boys in positions of power (like eridan/gamzee), ignore that some of their main traits are just being sexist/racist in lieu of their queer headcanons, then hate the rest of the female cast for whatever reason same old same old. it sucks more especially because the nymph/satyr storyline is purposefully using them to represent human class disparities between black women VS white men which is not something that can be separated from the new storyline at all. idk how people can form opinions on hsbc but not take that into consideration? and ofc out of all the nymphs people seem to mostly care about the trans male nymph which is also a timeold homestuck and general fandom tradition (only liking characters that share key parts of their queer identity) so im just complaining about forks in the damn kitchen
