Blog announcement
I’m rebranding folks! I love making food of all kinds and now that I have a full kitchen (bless) I’m going to expand this concept into something that I’ve been wanting to do for a very long time: to show people how they can cook in their every day lives!
I’m just a lady who loves to cook and who taught herself most of what I know. My mom helped too <3 (love you mom)
Microwave fudge
Yes, you read it right here! Microwave fudge!
Disclaimer: this recipe takes some practice and luck. Almost any result will be delicious, but they won’t all be fudge. Good luck loves.
Ingredients -Butter (I like salted) about 3 tbsp or more. -Icing/ confectioner/ powdered sugar. “Some” is the measurement here. Basically put as much sugar as you feel like eating or until the butter isn’t likely to take any more of it. -1 tbsp Molasses or any other flavouring agent. If you have it, I do recommend the molasses. -My sibling adds a tiny drop of milk here, but I find it has the wrong texture so I guess if it feels too thin add milk but only like a couple drops. I’m serious, the smallest amount of milk possible.
Instructions
1. Mix all ingredients together in a microwave safe bowl.
2. Microwave for a minute and a half in 30 second bursts. STIR IN BETWEEN VIGOUROUSLY with a fork the idea is to incorporate air. DO NOT TOUCH IT YOU WILL BE BURNED BADLY.
3. Drain any fat that separates and use as you like.
4. Let cool slowly in the bowl that it was made in. Slowly is the key.
Enjoy!!!
French Toast
Can you make French Toast in the Microwave? Yes. Yes you can.
Everything But The Kitchen Sink Soup + Bonus Storage Method
Hello Friends!
Today I have a lesson on how to make delicious soup! Now I had my roommate’s ~fancy microwave pot~ but you can totally do this in a bowl. Also I used what I had on hand, and so can you even if it’s not what I had! These are soup principles here that don’t need to be used as an exact recipe, but my soup was delicious so if you need something to follow exactly this is a good one :)
How to Extend Chinese Food 2 ways!-- Vegetarian Friendly!
Last night I ordered some Take out Chinese food and I ate too much of it :( because I was HUNGRY and now I didn’t have enough for a proper dinner tonight :(
However, just because I only had a little bit of food doesn't mean that I will be hungry tonight! No Sir! Tonight I’ll show you how to extend your curry noodles and you can apply these basic principles to other foods.
Listen up everyone. This up and coming blog is run by a friend of mine and it is SO useful for those of us who have very limited (see: microwave only) resources for cooking. Go give it a follow and get ready for some delicious (and absurdly easy) recipes!! :)
Thank you! I hope that you all enjoy my recipes! If you have anything that you want to see me try, or you have any submissions please fell free to shoot me an ask or submission.
Lemon and Old Bay Rice + Salmon
Hello Friends :)
So full disclosure I didn’t make this salmon in the microwave, I cooked it over a fire in the woods last night and I had a peace left so I figured I’d make myself a nice dinner and share it with you all.
