I also think that Finn could ve been quite young n somewhat inexperienced, it is possible that he chose to be a firefighter bcs he could have been afraid of fires n fire earlier, or maybe he himself suffered while on fire! I recently came across an animatic on YouTube n it seemed very suspicious to me that this boy n Finn are very similar to each other, in terms of the information on the helmet and the fact that this boy gets along very well with Roy and they work together jkjk

finn x roy headcanon when

˃˂ㆍ﹕ ROY & FINN HEADCANONS ♡

🔥 : I never thought I'd get an ask like this so soon! Me and my gf do like the idea of them together, actually!// These are primarily headcanons and based on first appearance looks, so Finn's section might not be entirely true to word.

♡ ; I imagine Finn to be more of a "no nonsense" type of guy based on leaks and promotion images. So while Roy greets the guy all happy, Finn would be quick to turn him down and rather test his skills.

♡ ; After they race and Finn would win the majority of them (If not all) Finn would question if Roy fits the role of a firefighter- as he's too slow or too weak. It would leave Roy questioning that very same statement, which probably melts into slight jealousy. And.. attraction?

♡ ; Finn wouldn't be the type to throw insults around like a cursing sailor, but slight jabs at Roy which would just leave Roy grumbling. Probably overwork his strength just to prove a point.

♡ ; Maybe during a rescue, Finn and Roy actually have to work together for a change. Either one of them gets a near accident, and the other saves them. Which would be a really awkward moment between the two of them after the rescue.

♡ ; Roy still feels a little jealous over Finn's skills. They'd have a talk at this point over their flaws-- Gradually becoming friends as the conversation flows.

♡ ; This might be when Finn actually develops for Roy. Although he refuses that factor with all his might. He refuses how kind, heartwarming and gentle the firefighter is.. He caught feelings. No second chances about that.

♡ ; Roy, on the other hand: Fully accepts that he likes Finn at this point. He adores how protective Finn is over everyone.. and quite strong at that.

♡ ; So with that in mind, Roy would confess first. Although I kinda imagine the entire confession would play out like a typical episode. Roy wants to confess, but in a fancy way of course to impress Finn. And it fails, it needs a rescue and Roy certainly feels defeated about it. Finn, however- is absolutely flustered.

Finn would intertwine his fingers between Roy's, pulling the firefighter close to his own body and planting a soft kiss on his forehead. Something Roy would never think he'd do in a million light years.

♡ ; And so on, they become a thing! They're pretty low about it though. While Finn Loves Roy, he isn't too much about PDA. Roy doesn't mind, as he will shower him in affection.
