I deleted my Facebook and Instagram this year because social media has gotten so noisy. Full of bullshit, fake news, egregious self promotion, click bait trash. But I kept tumblr. Though it went through a big shift years ago I've always kept it. Haven't been the most active on here. Don't plan on being that active here otherwise. Defeats my purpose of unplugging my socials. But I do feel comfortable here. To wander through people's art, dreams, thoughts, smut, frustrations, yearnings and passions. I definitely still find stuff on here I don't see anywhere else. So that's nice. But it's nice to regain the tangible as well. There's just so much I want to do. Maybe I'll start sharing it. Really treat this as a space for me to keep my keepsakes, sarcastic thoughts, witty ditties and what-have-yous. Maybe I won't. I don't need the attention. I'm not posting this for anyone in particular. I just remember this was a space to vent, share and toil with silly things. I think that's nice.
