Little Do You Know - Kim Taehyung
Pairing: Kim Taehyung x Reader
Genre: Angst, Fluff
Word Count: 1205
A/N: This was inspired by Little Do You Know by Alex and Sierra. Hope you like it!
I lay in bed, the room cold and dark as I tried to pull the blankets up around me. Taehyung lay next to me, facing the opposite direction with the comforter tucked underneath his chin. He had been home from tour for almost two weeks now, and he’d barely said three words to me. We barely spoke while he was on tour, and towards the end, I’d become so frustrated that I lashed out at him over the phone. Since then, he had barely acknowledged me, coming home from the airport and going straight to our room without a glance in my direction. I tried getting him to talk to me, but his only response had been, “not now, I’m tired,” before he had climbed in bed and turned off the lights.
I was sure it was nearing 3am, and normally when I couldn’t sleep I would curl up with Taehyung, but I knew I couldn’t this time. My body started to lightly shake as tears filled my eyes, but upon hearing Taehyung begin to stir, I quickly and quietly left the warmth of the comforters and made my way to the kitchen. Without turning on the light, I found my way to the island, leaning on it to support myself before my legs gave out, feeling weak. This was how the last few nights had gone. Taehyung remained sound asleep while I either silently cried myself to sleep or moved to the living room to keep from waking him.
Even though I knew that the argument, if you could call it that, was mostly my fault, Taehyung hadn’t even fought with me; instead he had chosen to ignore me, acting like I didn’t exist, breaking my heart even further. I knew breaking up with him would hurt even more than this, but at least I would know where we stood. Right now, I don’t know if he even wants me anymore, and if that was the case, I wish he would just tell me. This argument, or lack of it, was taking a toll on me, and though I was ready to forgive him for forgetting about me on tour, I wasn’t sure he was ready to accept me.
Deciding I couldn’t just sit here and cry anymore, I walked back into the bedroom to grab a sweater, figuring maybe a walk would help clear my mind. Picking up my keys from the table beside the door, I had barely placed my hand on the knob before a familiar voice sounded out behind me.
“Where are you going?” Taehyung questioned, deep voice raspy and gravelly from sleep. He stepped closer as I turned around, startled.
“For a walk. Go back to bed, Taehyung,” I told him, returning to opening the door so I could leave.
“Why? It’s 3 in the morning, love.”
My heart lurched at the pet name, having been awhile since I’d heard it, let alone heard the sound of his voice. “Can’t sleep. Figured it’ll tire me out.”
“Well, then let me go with you. You shouldn’t go out alone this time of night. It isn’t safe,” he suggested, grabbing a jacket from the closet in the entryway and slipping on his shoes.
I paused, anger and hurt slipping into my emotions, front and center. “Taehyung, you’ve barely spoken to me over the last two weeks, and now suddenly you’re ready? I’ve been trying for days to get you to talk to me, yet you’ve continued to ignore me, so what changed? Why can’t you just go back to bed and leave me alone.” I could feel my eyes begin to water, hastily turning away from him so he couldn’t see.
“I know you’ve been hurting,” he called out urgently. “I know while I’ve been sleeping, you’ve been crying. Whenever I wake up and check on you, your eyes are puffy, and you’ve been sleeping with a frown on your face. I’m sorry, baby,” he pleaded, voice desperate as he moved to bring me inside and shut the door.
My breathing was shaky, not believing what he was telling me. If he knew I was hurting, why was he continuing to let me hurt? Was he trying to figure out how to break up with me? “Please… don’t hurt me like this,” I whispered, voice not nearly as strong as I had hoped for.
Grabbing my hand, he stepped closer to me, backing me against the door as he nudged his nose against mine. “I never meant to hurt you. I’m sorry. And I know I have to much time to make up for and so much to fix, but I love you. I’ve been drowning in my mistakes over the last few weeks, and I can’t begin to describe how sorry I am for how awful I must have made you feel. But I can tell you that I love you with all of my being, so please… don’t leave me,” he begged, arms wrapping around my waist as his fingers clung to my sweatshirt in a desperate attempt to keep me close.
“We can’t keep this up forever. Are we just fooling ourselves thinking this will work? I mean, come on, Taehyung. If you really loved me, would you have ignored me like this for the last two weeks after ‘forgetting’ to talk to me while you were on tour? I love you Taehyung, more than anything, but this isn’t healthy for either one of us. If you want to break up with me, please, just get it over with so at least I know where we stand,” I cried, tears spilling from my eyes as sobs wracked my body.
Taehyung was quick to bring me into his arms, supporting my weight as I clung to him. “Baby, no. I love you so much. I honestly don’t know why I did what I did, but I am so, so sorry. I’ll spend the rest of our lives proving to you how much I love you and how sorry I am for this if you’ll let me. But please, let me. I don’t want to lose you.”
“I don’t want to lose you either, Tae, but it hurts. It hurts so much,” I sobbed, my grip on him tightening.
“I know, love, and I am so sorry for that. Let me make it up to you, yeah? We’ll start now, but you need to sleep, okay? Let’s go back to bed and we can talk more about this in the morning,” he spoke, voice low and soothing as he lightly pressed his lips against my hair.
As soon as I nodded, I was scooped up, being carried back to our bedroom. He placed me on the bed, crawling in next to me and pulling me tight against his chest, tucking the blankets up around us. “Whatever you need, I’ll do it. We’ll figure everything out, I promise. I love you so much. More than anything.”
“I love you, too, Taehyung. We’ll make it work,” I whispered, both of us falling asleep together for the first time in months. Everything was going to be okay. Even if we were only beginning to heal now. It was all going to work out.
its really weird to see all these articles about how people who have ADHD have sleeping problems but the issue I have is that if you look at it as a matter of your circadian rythym being out of sync? of COURSE you’re not going to be able to sleep. we don’t say people who can’t fall asleep at 4 pm and sleep 8 hours have insomnia, because that’s not a normally agreed upon time to sleep and its not your bodies time to sleep. if you tell someone to go to bed at 10 and they can’t sleep till 3 am sometimes in just not insomnia. people with ADHD are often wired to sleep from 4 am to 12 pm ish because of the delayed onset of melatonin but if you let us go to bed at the time we need? most of us actually sleep pretty well and consistently.
wAIT THIS IS AN ACTUAL THING THAT EXISTS
“For most adults the onset of melatonin is around 9.30 pm; in ADHD children compared to controls this occurs at least 45 minutes later, and in adults with ADHD even 90 minutes (van der Heijden ea, 2005; van Veen ea 2010). After melatonin onset, it normally takes 2 hours to fall asleep, but in adults with ADHD it takes at least 3 hours (Bijlenga et al, 2013).”
Look at me awake at 1:47 am and reblogging this post.
So I’m actually trained in therapy for addressing insomnia and one of the things we learned is that a good chunk of sleep problems are societal disorders - as in they WOULDN’T EXIST as problems if society didn’t assume everyone was on the same circadian rhythm and that being up and working 9-5 was mandatory/normal. Blew my mind and made so much sense. You are not the problem, society is literally the problem.

WTF IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE
For those who havent heard yet: Paris Hilton was pranked into thinking her plane was crashing and that she was going to fucking die. If you ask me ‘prank’ is the wrong fucking vocab here. This is a forced near death experience with potential emotional trauma following. Yet she has to laugh it off as a public person / selfmade brand/entrepreneur. This shit can scar you for life. I wouldve fucking lost it.
If you ever think about pulling of this kind of horribly disgusting bullshit, do us all a favor and reevaluate the choices you make in life. Grow the fuck up.
This is disgusting.
Good.
I hear the audio clip from it. She was so fucking terrified and when they told her it was a prank the first thing she asked was if the guy who had “jumped” was okay or not.
She deserves to sue.
Prank shows should be about making people fucking laugh at the prank
Good prank: when those people turned their roommate’s bedroom into a storage closet while he was away
Bad pranks: when Mariah Carey was convinced she knocked over a 200 foot Christmas tree and ruined hundreds of kids’ Christmas presents
Also this isn’t even a prank it’s just abuse. People need to learn the difference between pranks and abuse.
Fucking disgusting
Do they ever do this shit to men, or just to women?
Omg i love her! Nooooo
Yeah no they only do this to women, because terrorizing us is funny to them
this reminds me🤔
men love seeing women suffer, nothing new
Why do men think hurting women is funny
There was one where a man made his wife think he threw their son over the banister to the next storey
males looooooove female suffering, i mean porn
There’s a point where funny becomes cruel and a lot of ppl aren’t seeing that.
For the record I don’t approve of these kinds of “pranks” when it’s a woman doing it to a man, or a woman doing it to an enby. Nobody should do this kinda thing to anybody, regardless of gender dynamic.

Sitting up in what I assumed was my room, I could feel a massive pounding in my head. The room was nearly pitch black, the blackout curtains I had bought doing a good job of keeping out the light. If my headache was this bad while I was sitting in the dark, I could only imagine how much worse it would be in the light. As I woke up a little more, the heavy feeling in my heart returned, my heart seemingly sinking into my stomach. Rubbing my eyes, I slowly moved to get up, trying to avoid further aggravating my head. I peeked out from one eye to look at the alarm clock on his side of the bed. The obnoxious red numbers informed me that it was nearly one in the afternoon.
I finally made my way to the kitchen, keeping my eyes closed pretty much the whole way there. Blindly searching through my medicine cabinet, I pulled out some pain killers, popping a couple of them into my mouth and gulping down some water. After I downed the whole glass, I slowly opened my eyes, squinting at the light once I did. Our My apartment seemed to empty without him here. I struggled to spend my time here alone since he left, so now I’m usually either out of the house or here completely wasted. My friends could only distract me from the pain for so long, and after a couple weeks of nothing getting better, most of them had stopped trying and instead left me to wallow in the pain, which has, at this point, nearly consumed me.
I’d always thought the way people portrayed break-ups was an exaggeration and that they were just seeking attention from those around them. But when he left, my world and heart stopped.
He told me he’d be home nearly four hours ago, and with no sign of him, the feeling that something was wrong continued to grow. It wasn’t unusual for him to be out late like this; he spent a lot of time in the studio or at dance practice, but lately he’d been spending even more time there. My thoughts were interrupted by the sound of a key being pushed into the lock and the door slowly creaking open. I was instantly up on my feet and moving quickly to greet him.
“Tae! Where have you been? You told me you’d be home four hours ago.” My voice was a mix between excited to see him and accusing because I was unhappy he was so late getting home.
Barely glancing at me, he shrugged his shoulders as he kicked off his shoes and moved further into the apartment. “I didn’t really feel like coming home, I guess.” He sounded so distant and disinterested in speaking to me, and he came off very cold.
I furrowed my eyebrows as he moved past me, my eyes following him as I slowly trailed behind. “Why didn’t you want to come home?” I questioned, watching as he moved around our room, tossing his sweatshirt onto the end of the bed.
“Just didn’t feel like it, I guess,” he mumbled, lounging on the bed and scrolling through his phone.
“Come on, Tae, talk to me,” I pressed gently, willing him to open up to me.
“That’s just it though. I don’t want to talk to you. I didn’t come home because I didn’t want to be around you. You’re so clingy and irritating, and honestly just your mere presence is pissing me off right now. I think it’s time we call it quits. Just not worth it anymore.”
My heart sunk as he spoke, still not even bothering to look at me. His words burned in my brain, not fully being processed. Tears filled my eyes before I could stop them. “What?” I couldn’t say anything else, my brain unable to form coherent sentences as emotions swirled through my head.
“I said I’m leaving you. I don’t want to be together anymore,” he repeated, swinging his legs off the bed and throwing some clothes into a duffel bag. “I’ll come back to get my stuff later, but I’ll do it when you’re not around.” He didn’t bother saying anything else, instead just walking out the door, leaving me to down in my thoughts and emotions.
I left the kitchen, walking back to my bedroom and grabbing my phone. Even though the brightness was on the lowest setting, the screen still aggravated my eyes, but what was even more aggravating was the eleven missed calls from my sister. I’d barely spoken to my family, or anyone really, since the break-up, mostly just wanting to be alone. I didn’t need anyone fussing over me or trying to get me back on my feet when I wasn’t ready. I just wanted to suffer for a while, I needed to feel my emotions, but I wasn’t doing a very good job of that since I just wanted to drown them out. At this point I wanted to drown everything out. Realizing I had a voicemail from my sister, I turned the volume to the lowest setting I could before allowing it to play.
“Hey, Sis!” she practically yelled through the phone, or at least that’s what it sounded like to me. “it’s been a while since anyone’s heard from you, and I just wanted to check in! I’ll be in the city later, so I’ll stop y when I can! See you soon!” Her voice was far too cheery for the way I felt, and I had no intent on seeing her.
By the time the pain killer had set in, it was nearly two-thirty, and I was sure it wouldn’t be long until my sister made her appearance. While she was only a few years older than I was, she certainly seemed younger. She was often less mature than me, and we clashed a lot. I was laying in bed and staring at the ceiling when the doorbell sounded through the apartment, letting me know my sister had arrived. Frowning, I hauled myself up, dragging my feet down the hall to answer the door. As soon as I did, my sister’s eyes widened, a shocked gasp leaving her mouth.
“You look like complete shit,” she gaped, gaze scanning over my body. My greasy hair was haphazardly pulled up into a messy bun, my clothes were wrinkled and dirty, and the dark circles under my eyes gave away my lack of sleep.
“Yeah, that’s kind of what happens when the person you’re in love with leaves you out of the blue,” I deadpanned, turning and walking back inside, letting her follow.
She quietly closed the door, the soft click resonating through my otherwise silent apartment. “I know you’re hurting. I’ve been through this, too, remember? But what you’re doing – how you’re handling this – isn’t health. You can’t just shut out the rest of the world and suffer in silence. And I know how much you’ve probably been drinking because I can smell the alcohol on you from here. Mom and Dad are worried about you, and so am I.” She moved around me to sit on the sofa, attempting to make eye contact with me. “You have to pick yourself up from this.”
“What if I don’t want to? Or what if I can’t? Everything I see, everything in this apartment, this city, it all reminds me of him. He was everything to me, and he’s gone. And all he left me was a mess of who I used to be. I want things to go back to the way they were, I want an explanation, and most of all I just want to stop hurting. I don’t know what to do or who I am without him. He was my partner in crime. What do you do when you lose that?” I sighed, a lump forming in my throat.
“You find it with someone else,” my sister answered simply, shrugging her shoulders.
“I don’t want it with someone else. I want it with him.” I could feel the tears coming, my heart sinking and voice straining as my throat became tighter. I took a deep breath through my nose, blinking the tears back.
I was sure my sister could see through my façade but chose only to say that I needed to find a way to pick up the pieces I had left. She wasn’t understanding how I felt. None of her relationships had been the way mine was with Taehyung.
The sound of both mine and Taehyung’s laughter filled our apartment, a look of amused shock playing on his features. “I can’t believe you did that!” he laughed, wiping flour from his cheeks. He and I were always playing pranks on each other, and he obviously hadn’t expected this one.
“I can’t believe you fell for it!” My giggling was uncontrollable, the sound causing Taehyung to smile even wider.
“I love you,” he grinned. “I know I tell you all the time, but I really do love you more than anything. I don’t know what I did to get so lucky to have you, but I really hope I keep doing it.” He pulled me close to him, fingertips dancing across my hips as he pressed them against the skin under my top. My breath caught in my throat as he leaned closer, but before our lips met, he shook his head, flour flying out from his hair and all over me. I shrieked, laughing once again as he practically skipped down the hall of our apartment to go shower. “Come join me when you’re ready,” he called, so I chased after him, laughing the whole way.
After my sister left, I hopped in the shower, letting the warm water soothe my tense muscles. I poured the shampoo into my palm, lathering my hair and washing the rest of my body. I wasn’t ready to pick myself up yet. It was too soon. I just wanted to drown out the world and my pain. If I could ignore it, I would. Deciding to go to the bar not too far from my apartment, I figured walking would help me clear my head, so I shoved my wallet and phone into my purse, locking the door and heading down the street.
The bartenders had become quite familiar with me lately, already knowing what I wanted to drink. Before long I’d downed nearly eight shots of whatever they were giving me, my head starting to spin and my stomach catching up. The talk with my sister today had really irritated me more than normal, and I just wanted to forget everything. I ordered another shot, except I must’ve lost track of time and count of my drinks because there were suddenly way more shot glasses in front of me than I remembered. Attempting to get the bartender’s attention, I stumbled over my words, only managing to make the words, “go home” sound coherent. He must’ve understood because he asked if there was anyone I could call, but I wasn’t completely aware of what he, or I for that matter, was saying. Next thing I knew he was putting my phone in my purse again after using it to call whoever I’d told him to, telling me to wait there.
Unsure of how much time had passed, I laid my head on the counter in front of me, incoherent thoughts swirling around my head. A hand was gently placed on my shoulder, startling me, and I quickly opened my eyes and sat up, a sound of shock leaving my lips. “Wh-what are you… doing here?” I forced out, words slow and slurred as my already impaired mind tried to process the sight of the person in front of me.
“What have you done to yourself?” he sighed, taking in my appearance the amount of shot glasses in front of me. Taehyung wrapped an arm around my waist to pull me to my feet, steadying me before leading me outside.
My brain finally caught up with what was happening, tears filling my eyes and spilling down my cheeks. “I’m so sad,” I cried, trying to break away from him. “And you don’t even care! Why are you here? How am I supposed to forget about you when you’re right in front of me?”
His grip around me tightened, preventing me from getting away as we walked down the sidewalk. “I’m sorry. I’m sad, too,” he told me, voice hushed. The city was quiet around us, only a few cars in the distance.
“You don’t get it!” I drunkenly exclaimed, tripping over my own feet. “My… everything hurts! You did this to me. I’m so broken, and I don’t know how to fix myself,” I sobbed, collapsing on the cement.
Taehyung fumbled to prevent me from falling but failed when I pushed at his hands. “You’re drunk,” he stated obviously, tipping his head back and staring into the sky. “Can we please just go back to the apartment and we’ll talk about this when you’re sober? It’s almost two in the morning and I don’t appreciate being called by a bartender to come get you because you can’t even call me yourself,” he grumbled, pulling me to my feet again.
The rest of our walk back was quiet, neither of us saying a word as he unlocked the door and led me to our my room. I watched as his brown eyes scanned the room, noticing not much had changed except the fact that his side was empty. Without thinking, I tugged my shirt and jeans off, replacing them with some shorts and one of Taehyung’s old t-shirts before I crawled into bed. “Stay,” I whispered when he moved to leave the room, hand on the doorknob.
He turned back around to face me, his features softening. “I don’t think that’s a good idea. I’ll go sleep on the couch and we can talk tomorrow, alright?” After I nodded, he grabbed an extra pillow and blanket and left the room, shutting the door behind him. Even though my mind was racing, and I was confused, the comfort of knowing Taehyung was here was enough to put me to sleep in minutes.
When I woke up the next morning, my headache wasn’t nearly as bad as I had anticipated, and I felt like I had actually gotten a decent amount of sleep. Sitting up, I noticed a couple pain killers and a glass of water on the table next to the bed. I gratefully took the pills and water, getting out of bed and walking down the hallway. Taehyung was sprawled out on the couch, long limbs draped over the sides as he softly snored. Letting him sleep, I grabbed a bagel and stuck it in the toaster, my stomach growling as if on cue.
It wasn’t long before I heard rustling coming from the living room, Taehyung appearing in the kitchen a few seconds later. “How’re you feeling?” he asked, voice deep and gravelly from just waking up.
Shrugging, I stuffed the rest of my bagel in my mouth, mumbling out, “fine, I guess.” We were silent for a few minutes before Taehyung spoke up, awkwardly shifting on his feet.
“I think we should talk,” he said, looking at me as he waited for my response.
Nodding, I stood up and followed him back to the sofa, plopping down cross-legged on the opposite end from him. “I’m sorry you had to get me last night. I didn’t know I told the bartender your name when he asked me who to call,” I apologized, fiddling with my fingers in my lap.
I heard Taehyung sigh as he turned to face me. “Old habits die hard, I guess. It was just an automatic answer to say my name. But that’s only part of what I wanted to talk about. I know you’re hurting, and I know I’m the reason why, but I am so sorry. I know it’s not an excuse, but the day I said those things to you… I didn’t mean what I said. I was stressed, and I took it out on you and ruined everything we had. I wish I could take it all back, but I can’t,” he sighed, running a hand through his hair.
“Man, you’re an asshole, but I can’t be angry with you. I’m hurt and upset, but I’m not angry. I just… it was so sudden, and you didn’t really give me an explanation before you left. I still don’t understand why you said and did the things you did.”
“I don’t either, and I’m not sure I can explain what was going through my head, but I want to make it up to you, if you’ll let me, that is. Can we try again? Because I really miss my partner in crime.” His expression was hopeful, eyes shining as he looked at me.
My answer was quick, my mind made up before he had even asked the question. “Of course, we can try again. I love you; I always will,” I smiled, moving to curl up next to him as he entwined our fingers and pressed his lips to my forehead.
“I love you, too. Always.”

Better For You (Byun Baekhyun)
Prompts: “Remember when you promised we’d always be together? Because I remember when you meant it.” and “Did you honestly think I cared? It was all an act.”
Pairing: Byun Baekhyun x reader
Genre: College AU, Fratboy!Baekhyun, angst, fluff
Warnings: alcohol, it’s really cliche, maybe swearing idk
Word count: 1429
The beat of the music pounded through my ears, the vibrations rumbling in my chest as I followed my friend through the crowd of people occupying the frat house. A party was the last place I wanted to be, but I was dragged here without much choice. I’d much rather be curled up in my bed watching Netflix, but my friend decided I needed to get out of my room more. lately she’d been dragging me to the mall or to events on campus, and this party was one of the things she deemed was a necessary part of a college experience as well as something that would take my mind off my recent break up. The further we got into the frat house, the louder and more cramped it got. The air reeked of weed and various types of alcohol, and I had to refrain from covering my nose.
As soon as we reached the kitchen, she was mixing me a drink of whatever they had on the counters, thrusting it into my hand and telling me to chug it. I did as I was told, figuring I may as well try to have some fun while I was here, but the only way my mind would actually be able to forget about Baekhyun would be if I managed to blackout from the alcohol. Soon enough I’d downed nearly four drinks, and I was on the verge of being drunk. I had lost sight of my friend quickly, assuming she had found some guy to dance with. So much for having a girls’ night.
Sighing, I made my way back towards the living room of the frat, wanting to find a place to sit down for a bit. I could feel the effects of the alcohol in my head, and I felt like I was spinning. Leaning against the wall next to me, I shook the feeling away, doing my best to hold myself up. Luckily for me there was an empty chair next to one of the couches, and I quickly tried to make my way to it before someone else could. Before I could sink into the comfy-looking chair, my eyes wandered to the couch next to me, and I gasped, nearly breaking into tears right then and there. Sitting on the couch was Baekhyun, his eyes now locked with mine. Some scrawny chick dressed in what looked mostly like a bra and what had to be the shortest skirt known to man was practically on top of him, clearly trying to get his attention.
My mind went blank as I stared at him, the tears beginning to well up in my eyes as I fought them back. I couldn’t cry here, especially not in front of Baekhyun. But I also couldn’t keep my brain from going back to our break up.
“Honestly, you’re just not good enough. I could do so much better than you. You’re clingy and annoying, and honestly, I don’t know why I bothered with you anyway,” he sneered, rolling his eyes as he barely looked at me.
My heart was shattering into a million pieces, a lump forming in my throat as the tears spilled over. “B-Baekhyun, what are you saying? How could you say those things to me? Remember when you promised we’d always be together? Because I remember when I thought you meant it,” I sobbed. My shoulders shook, and my legs began to give out, barely able to support my weight.
“Did you honestly think I cared? It was all an act. I don’t want you.” His voice was cold and firm, the complete opposite of how he normally sounded when he spoke to me.
His words caused me to break, and I could no longer hold myself up. I collapsed onto the floor, sobs wracking through my body.
At the memory of our recent break up, the tears spilled over, running down my cheeks. Baekhyun looked surprised to see me crying, and I couldn’t quite tell in my drunken state, but he appeared almost…heartbroken. Not willing to let him see what he had done to me, I spun around, desperately trying to shove my way through the hundreds of people crammed into this tiny space. I had no idea how I was supposed to get out of the house. I hadn’t paid enough attention when we were coming in, and with the alcohol inside my system I had gotten even more turned around. Frantically moving throughout the building, I took random twists and turns, hoping I could find my way outside.
Somehow, I had ended up going down a hallway that must’ve led to a bunch of the bedrooms for the frat because every time I opened a door, it only led to dark rooms filled with clothes strewn about. When I turned back around to go back towards the way I came from, my heart stopped at the sight of Baekhyun standing in the hallway. He was blocking my path and carefully walking towards me.
“Are…are you alright? Do you need help?” His voice was soft and soothing, like he knew what I was going through.
I rapidly shook my head, intensifying the feeling of the alcohol. “No, no, I don’t. Especially not from you. I hate you.” I had hoped my voice would come off strong, but it sounded weak and my words were beginning to slur.
“I’m sorry,” he told me quietly, his eyes cast downward as he took a few steps towards me. “I know you’re hurting, because I am, too.”
“No, you aren’t. You don’t get to hurt, Baekhyun. You’re the one who did this to us. But it doesn’t even matter to you that you ruined what we had because you didn’t even care. You destroyed me, Baekhyun. I don’t even know what to do with myself. There’s a constant pain in my chest, and you think you get to hurt because of this? Fuck you, Baekhyun.” I couldn’t hold back the sobs anymore, and I fell back against the wall, sliding down against it. Covering my face with my hands, I tried to calm myself down, not wanting him to see how badly he had hurt me when it was clear I meant nothing to him.
“I didn’t mean it,” he cried. The whimper in his voice caused me to look up at him, and when I did, I could see the fresh tears falling from his eyes. “I-I thought that you deserved more, and my frat brothers all wanted me to go to the club with them. They were telling me that I was missing out on having fun and partying, so they pressured me, and I broke up with you! I know you probably hate me, but I still love you. I love you more than anything, and it’s been killing me not to be with you. I want you more than anything, and none of what I told you that day was true. I just want to be with you, please.” He knelt on the floor in front of me, timidly making his way to me, testing to see if I’d reject his touch. When I didn’t, he pulled me into his lap, tucking me into his chest and resting his chin on top of my head.
Whimpering, I curled into him, gripping his shirt in my hand as I pulled myself as close as possible. When I finally managed to calm my sobbing, I spoke. “I still love you, Baek. I always will. But how do we come back from this? I don’t want to keep hurting.”
Pressing short kisses to my forehead, he turned me, so he could look into my eyes. “Let me prove to you how much I love you. I’ll do anything to show you that you mean everything to me. Please, Princess, just let me show you that I can be better, that I’ll be anything you need,” his tone was desperate, knowing that this was his last chance with me.
Nodding, I closed my eyes, leaning back against his shoulder. “One chance, Baekhyun. Don’t screw it up.”
“Never, I promise. I’ll show you how much you mean to me. I love you, baby.” With that he pressed his lips against mine. His lips felt soft against my chapped ones, and I could tell how much he loved me. While it was slow, it was sweet and desperate, like he needed to show me how much he loved me right then and there.
“I love you, too, Baek. You’re my everything.”

Being part of the social justice culture or the “stay woke” culture, I usually thought that the main purposes were to:
1) Unlearn what was taught to you
2) Learn what was never taught to you
3) Educate those around you with the knowledge you have
But you see…
You will come across people that will ask questions that may sound problematic but they just genuinely are confused about the matter and just want to learn
I had a white girl, sweet as hell, that was curious about why White people can’t say the N-word but Black people can say it.
Now… If this was Black Tumblr/Twitter, y'all wouldve ate her alive and spit her out. Like, why would you ask a question like that????
I didnt take any offense to the question, because again, you have to educate.
I broke it down simply…
“Bitch was a term used by men against women… If you call your female friend ‘my bitch’, theres nothing wrong with that… but if a guy did the same thing to his female friend, that wouldnt not look too good…”
Then she understood! She doesnt like when men call her or other women bitches but she noticed how women call each other bitches (almost) all the time in a friendly context.
Some SJW ppl would resort to just straight ridicule. Like relentlessly roast you, and you just wanted to ask a question, get your answer, and just go.
I understand some people would come outta nowhere with smartass comments and deserve that roasting, im 120% for that, but yall really need to learn the difference between those 2 groups of people.
I remember saying/doing something problematic not too long ago. This guy just went off on me, called me stupid, and vaguely explained why what I did was problematic. When I asked for a more in-depth answer as to why it was an issue, he didnt want to explain, he didnt have the “energy” to explain but had plenty of energy to say what i did was wrong and i was stupid to do it.
To this day, I STILL dont know exactly what was wrong but I am avoiding that action for sure.
To cut it shortly for yall,
Some people genuinely dont know what they do/say was wrong. Some ask questions to learn and educate themselves. Relax…
Ridicule or slander shouldnt be a first option to everything, if anything, its more counterproductive. Not to mention yall do this for notes and attention on social media.
ALL. OF. THIS.
This shits still relevant
