I have taken this lens with me to Yosemite, Costa Rica, Utah, Colorado, and recently Glacier National Park in Montana. Here are my likes and dislikes about the lens.
it’s not too heavy like the 70-200mm, nearly the same weight as my 24-70mm
dual IS + stabilizing techniques
ability to shoot wannabe macro
the built in hood, because it did protect against rain in Costa Rica
the twist knob for switching between landscape and portrait shooting
not a flush mount, clinking noise
