i’m still around on this account. i’m sorry for the inactivity. i’ll work on replies and the starters tomorrow.

hey guys. just to give you all a heads up, i am going to be on a hiatus or – well is it semi-hiatus? i’m not exactly sure, but i probably won’t be able to do replies until (maybe) saturday. reason? it’s the last week of summer session at my uni and i have a ten page essay due on friday. guess who still has not started yet? – and also overstack himself with shifts at his two jobs? yep, that’s me and i’m shit at time management so i’m probably not going to sleep for the next few days. i will though, be available to talk to ooc wise through im! so if you want to talk or even plan out some plots with me for when i come back, then that would be brilliant. to all who has been waiting for a long time for my replies, i apologise and hope you guys can wait for a few days. :) i’ll see you guys in a few days.

“Trust me, I am the last person who would defend the Elders.” Piper had rebelled against them from the start. They had threatened to take her husband, her sisters, her sons. She understood the need for rules, but the Elders took it too far. “They’re afraid of you,” she told him. “You’re different. That makes you unpredictable. So show them.” She kept Henry’s gaze. “Show them the good you can do.”

“they’re afraid of me? -- me? the adopted son of paige matthews, a charmed one?” he asked his aunt in disbelief. he didn’t understand why they would be afraid of him, if his powers were powerful enough, wouldn’t that just make them want him to become one of them? “are they afraid that i’d complete the third charmed circle? -- i’m not a real warren, i can’t.” he thought out loud before scoffing at the suggestion to show them he was good. “i may not have the motives to be a warlock, but i’m nowhere near good, aunt pip.”

His eyes flicked between his cousin’s hand and the pot his potion was in. “If you’re trying to freeze my potion–I might have to kill you.” The elder cousin teased.

"oh.” he pulled his hand down once he realized what it looked up and looked back down at his hand. “come on.” he directed it towards the wall, but yet still nothing happened. “dammit. why isn’t it working now?” he huffed and peaked over at the potion. “you look like you’re doing a shit job there, chris. what is that mandrake root? -- besides if you kill me, mom’s going to kill you.”

     “ well, henry… if you wanted to be tread like a real halliwell,” melinda exaggerates the last two words ; she obviously considered him as much her family as she did wyatt or chris, “we do have sort of an unspoken rule that the book doesn’t leave the attic. wyatt once lost it for almost a week – that was not a fun week. ”

he quirked a brow at her statement about being a real halliwell. he knew his cousin and he knew she cared about him, but yet that sound made it seem as if she didn’t. he pushed that thought out of his mind quickly though. “wyatt lost the book for a week? -- wait, isn’t this book supposed to be used for potions?” he looked through the pages. “-- you do know you said unspoken rule like someone would be oblivious to that rule?”

’ one of our ancestors did. ’ the witch replies and corrects his cousin, eyebrows raising at his little speech of his power. throughout cryokinesis was indeed a power that his mother nor his aunts possessed but he knew that one of their ancestors did in the past. so potentially; through adopting or any other kind this power was transferred to the young male.

“one of my adopted ancestors.” he pointed out to his older cousin, leaning over the counter. “if you seem to have forgotten, i was born a mortal and i’m adopted.” he shrugged. “it makes no sense that i have powers in general. i don’t even know where it came from. -- did that ancestor’s eyes glow a neon blue when they used their power?”

“Through my good looks and sparkling personality, obviously.” Matthew answered while pushing Henry away from his dvds. “And I’ll have you know, anime is gold.” Turning to face Henry, Matthew crossed his arms. “What trouble have you gotten yourself into now?”

henry chuckled. “good looks and sparkling personality my ass. -- i’m surprised there are really people who actually like being spoken to like that.” he was referring to his cousin’s tendency to just come off fully sarcastic. “anime is something weird kids living in their basements would do.” he pointed out to him and scoffed. “I haven’t gotten into any trouble -- illegal trouble that is. you don’t happen to have healing powers that can heal...objects do you?”

Melinda couldn’t help it, she snickered.   “My clothes most definitely go invisible with me,” she told him with a smile.    “Why are you curious?”   She raised an eyebrow before sitting down next to her younger cousin.    Aunt Paige was pretty protective of Henry, Kat, and Tam.    So it wasn’t a too unusual question when you were trying to find something out that you were denied yourself.   “Let me show you.”

And then she and her clothes and everything she wore was gone.   Leaving only an imprint where she was sitting.

Henry shrugged at the question. “Because when you know someone who can really turn invisible, you try to figure out whats accurate or not.” His eyes widened at once the other vanished before his eyes and looked down at the imprint of where she sat. “Wow.” He reached out, indirectly poking the other in the eye. “Shit, I’m sorry. -- Invisibl not intangible.”

The question only caught her by surprise in context, though it was a thought that had crossed Piper’s mind many times before. Of the sisters, she was the one who had most desired a normal life; the one who had the most difficult time seeing the potential of her powers as good. “Every day, since Phoebe found The Book of Shadows in the attic. I called them unnatural, until I realized they were a part of our ancestry; a part of our blood.” She took a step closer and rubbed a hand against his forearm. “Why sweetie? Has someone said that to you?”

Henry noticed the way his aunt reacted to the question and he regretted asking her. He was upset over the fact that he was told his powers were unnatural, but even then, he didn’t feel like talking about it so much. He nodded his head along with what she had said and rubbed at the back of his neck awkwardly. “So you learned to accept it for what it was?” He asked the other. “I -- The elders aren’t so keen to find out that I have powers now. -- They called my powers unnatural.”

“The chemical compound when mixed with everything else in this potion makes it very acidic for demons.    It will be like water to the wicked witch from Wizard of Oz.”   Granted all of the elements of this potion were going to be acidic more or less and he needed to go out and buy some if the family didn’t have any stocked up.

“I -- huh. I didn’t know there was much -- chemistry in the making of potions.” He licked his lips and shrugged. “It’s funny when you see Harry Potter and they mention mandrakes, and you find out mandrake is an essential ingredient for this stuff.”
