Weekly Spread | Week 43 This week was spent piping the bodice of my 1837-41 dress, lots of piping. I also made some great progress on my dissertation and feel just a little bit less stressed about that. I really love this spread, its one of my favourites this year by far. I think Iâll have to do more painting inspired weekly spreads.Â
Been a minute :)

3.31.19 || my new bullet journal method!!
Hey guys!! You may have heard me hinting at a new and improved bujo style? Well this is it! I decided to try out what @eintsein did and bring my bujo down to its bare minimum. Lately I too have been feeling overwhelmed with the idea of making yet another over-the-too aesthetic spread, something that usually takes me an hour to do. In February, I only made one weekly spread in my bujo cuz I didnât have the energy to create any more. Come March, I knew that while I loved bullet journaling, I wouldnât be able to keep up with making pretty spreads every week, especially since I had to make a monthly one as well. So, I decided to do this! I made it completely black and white (and grey) at first, although as the month continued I realized that for it to function properly it actually needed a bit of color. I added a mood tracker, and allowed myself to be creative with it- but minimally. Drawing clouds is really easy, requires far less effort than the plant theme of last month.
And⊠Iâm super happy with it!! Itâs definitely far more functional than artsy, but still manages to look ok aesthetic-wise (even if my picture taking environment isnât the greatest rn LOL). I feel like Iâm actually able to make my bujo do what I want it to do bc Iâm not also worried about the art aspect. For example I have really liked keeping the events and to-doâs distinct yet in the same area, and Iâve liked being able to add time blocks as well. Previously, I used to sacrifice one or 2 parts of my weeklies. Now, Iâm finding my bujo to be at its most functional and least stressful! honestly I think if anyone is struggling with their bullet journal they should do the same: strip it down to its barest functions, decide what part of it u need, what u want to add, and what u should get rid of. So thank u @eintsein for ur post about this, it helped a lot :)

So Iâm actually really enjoying this History revision? I love how it looks and it really inspires me to do it because I feel so happy and productive when itâs finished. Honestly, if I could have this feeling with all my revision, that would be great thanks.
Is this a muji pen? Which model is it?

Really enjoyed this section on genes and variation!! Whatâs your favorite science?
Hello⊠the fish on this pic is inspired by a picture from pinterest.
So I bought a new Bullet Journal from Archer & Oliveâs (its not this one on the picture). I wanted to change BuJo because this one has like yellow pages and a lot of ghosting. Also the dot grid is wrongly done, it doesnât match up on all of the pages. Surprisingly I also need fewer pages, too many (this one has almost 300) are too intimidating for me. I know buying a new one is pretty much unnecessary but these little things were getting on to me.
I also am having a truly tragic second Uni semester which has transferred the negativity and sloppiness to my journal. I plan on starting the new one when my class end and really planning to do things better this second time around. đ đ
i love traveling so much! we went to central europe for spring break and it was amazing!!!

Midterms season is officially over!! A friend and I celebrated by going to Universal Studios this weekend, and because it was pouring all day, there were no lines for anything! It was such a nice breather from⊠life
The fact that this quarter is coming to an end is actually really bittersweet because I donât want to see one of my favorite quarters here come to an end :â(
