Her last resort part 51
As she entered the room she realized that she had skipped lunch somehow. Her stomach was grumbling and she could feel her body screaming for nutrition. She made her way towards the large dining area from earlier, noting the many glares and looks of worry following her as she did nothing but make her way down a hallway. She chuckled, didn’t take them long to start fearing her, she figured it’d take more than beating up a rude asshat. It did however, not matter much to her as she wanted nothing more than for it to continue that way, so that she wouldn’t have to be bothered by being approached by more strangers wishing to take advantage of her usually gullible nature. She regretted never having learned the signs of a corrupted human back when she started on skt. Perry High School. She sighed as she entered the dining hall only to find Lou staring at her equally as much as everyone else. He however was fidgety and seemed as if he was raring to talk to her until Claire glared at him and he visibly shivered before he sank into his seat as she walked past. She didn’t have the patience to deal with him at that point in time, and so she made her way to the counter where they supplied food. She grabbed a tray and found a table in the corner of the room with no one sitting and situated herself there, glaring at the crowd around her to make them stop staring. Everyone continued doing their own thing after that. Claire found it amusing that all she had to do to control a supposedly rowdy crowd was beat up a single lowlife and glare at the surrounding people. She figured she was gonna like staying at the prison. She smiled to herself as she carefully ate her food. After that she left her tray at the designated counter and made her way back to her cell with her entourage in tow. The days after followed a similar pattern. The only difference being that she didn’t have to beat up any more lowlifes and she started allowing Lou to follow her around. Eventually the prison decided to trust her to be able to walk around without dumb and dumber following her which was a relief, not having to be followed around by two grown men that honestly just made her look like a discount mafia boss. Not the good kind mind you. Everyone but Lou kept steering clear of her even without the escort with her which was a plus. The prison building slowly started feeling more like home than her own “home” and people didn’t expect much from her there either. It was as if she had finally gotten the life she had hoped for when she originally started on that school. Then one day, a certain newsflash had interrupted the prison television. As if introducing a newcomer to the prisoners.
