Sometimes Anya could get sidetracked by her own end of the conversation, often talking over everyone else talking. It was a trait a lot of people found annoying, and sometimes it had her missing important context clues. She almost misses the cut, too busy ranting while staring at her tattoo. “Well I got the outline done a couple weeks ago but the finer details were fixed up yesterday and like, I feel like it’s not completely-” Looking up, she stops short.
“What the fuck, babe?” Dropping her shirt again, she grabs Sylvi by the face but manages to avoid touching the cut. “Baby, who did this? What happened?” She leads her to the nearest stool and turns to dig out her first aid kid. It wasn’t a rare occurrence for Anya to get scraped up during an experiment.
She curses herself for her mistake and tries to cover the wound up with her hair before Anya gets a better look. It’s too late and she’s huffing trying to make it seem like it wasn’t a big deal. She didn’t want to get Anya involved in her dealings. Slyvi let’s Anya dote on her though, thankful for the attention. There’s not really much she can do now to change it anyway.
“It was just a mistake with something in my home lab, no biggie. I did it to myself.” She felt horrible lying, but it was only to protect Anya from any possible punishment if Slyvi were to be caught. If her girlfriend didn’t know then she couldn’t get in trouble too. “Are you gonna get color added?”

At the sound of the lab door sliding open and shut, Anya’s head pops up. She’d been playing with a harpoon gun, working on making the line razor sharp. It would be a present for the less annoying Hopkins twin. “Hey babe,” she says with a smirk, sliding off her stool to grip the bottom of her shirt. “New tattoo, wanna see?”
Before waiting for an answer, she lifts it up to expose an ouroboros on her left hip. The skin around it puffy and red. “You like?”
A tad bit roughed up from the altercation she had while away, she flipped her hair in her face and tugged her sleeves down before she hurried over to Anya. Of course she wanted to see her new tattoo, she always loved them. Sometimes Sylvi wished she’d chosen the same path as Anya, but she was good at what she did. Everyone said so.
Her face immediately brightened up and she pushed her hair out of the way to see better, but ended up revealing a deep cut on her face without thinking. “That’s so cool! How long ago did you get it?” The cut wasn’t healing as it should be, and Sylvi didn’t think to find out what medicines might work yet. She wanted to stop by Anya’s first.
