//OOC: Hey all, it’s @happiestrain160. This is my first ever pkmn irl blog, so I’ll probably be winging this! As a heads up: this Dawn was in fact isekai’d! She comes from a real world, but not necessarily ours. So expect some unreality stuff and maybe some gender stuff from that! If it’s not your cup of tea, I’d consider this a warning. Other than the isekai stuff, this’ll seem like a pretty normal Platinum playthrough.

I will note that her memories of her old life are basically just vague feelings, but that she does vaguely remember the concept of the Pokémon games.

Right, so, outside of that one time we don’t speak of, I don’t have any archaeology knowledge, and Lucas left most of his books at home. Does anyone know what this symbol is?

I feel like I should clarify: we haven’t eaten Barry (yet). All we did was tie him up in that blanket and then hang said blanket from a tree branch.

It was a really novel way to solve the dilemma of only having two tents to sleep in, even if said dilemma wasn’t a dilemma at all.

Seriously, I told them to share a tent, but they disagreed about something and didn’t want to? I’m still not really sure what they were arguing over, but I’m even less sure why Barry went for rock paper scissors as the problem solver and not, like, a battle. Although, I could just ask. He is still hanging there sleeping…

I mean, Stella is pretty good at picking out safe things to eat! And so is Barry’s Heracross, come to think of it…

Though then again that might just be stuff that’s safe for them to eat, and not people.

[Video ID: It begins with a shot of a Munchlax disappearing into some bushes. Dawn’s voice is then heard, saying “Awww, I barely got any footage of it.” Barry’s voice is then heard from what seems to be a short distance away. “Why didn’t’cha just catch it, anyways? I thought you were thinking of addin’ another teammate?” The camera pans to Barry and Lucas as they begin continuing down the trail that is now in view. “Huh? No, I just thought it looked cute!” Dawn’s voice is heard again. Lucas just shrugs his shoulders and rustles the map he’s holding as Barry just says, “‘Course that’s why. Dunno why I even asked when I already knew the answer.”

The video continues on for a few more minutes as Lucas slowly makes more and more frustrated noises. Eventually he stops and turns to Barry. “Barry. We were supposed to be at the campsite yesterday! Are you absolutely, positively sure this was the right trail?” Barry just laughs and scratches the back of his head. “Well I mean I’m pretty sure! I think!” He shrugs again. “I’m not a car… cargo… a map-person. I jus’ run around really fast. The fastest, even.”

Dawn’s voice is quietly heard going “Wait, is the video still going?” as the camera’s point of view tilts toward the ground. Offscreen, Lucas, who had been stunned into silence for a moment, shouts in surprise “Wait, you mean we’re LOST?! Did you even check the map bef-”

Lucas is cut off as the video ends.]

what is there to debate about bread? it's bread.

It started from Barry saying that he preferred pretzel rolls and Lucas saying that normal sliced bread was fine, and somehow Barry took that as an opportunity to start pointing out the flaws of white bread as sandwich bread, and Lucas got like… offended over it? He started defending white bread pretty quickly. The debate just kept going from there. Don’t tell Lucas but I agree with Barry for once. Pretzel rolls are better.

The current bread debate topic is whether or not it’d be cannibalism for a Fidough to eat a pretzel roll. (Lucas says it is, Barry says it’s not.)
