i do like that anxiety was so confused by this entire fiasco that they just forgot about being evil for a hot minute.

pitched this to rain earlier and im sure someones already said it but perhaps negatives thing is that he quite literally can do anything rgb cant (or at least thinks he cant) do as far as the limitations of his creativity goes. which is why hes able to do all this crazy fucking shit like create swords out of a cane and some chunks of glass and crush fear itself dead and create magical roses that can protect you from sandstorms that are meant to grind you into Nothing.

the inverse is also theoretically true, indicating why negative never speaks and can be harder to read overall. bro cant bc thats one of the things rgb considers himself as being actually good at- acting and communicating.

before i start, let me preface it with this: i swear to god if any of yall go and witch hunt/attack mod for any of this i am going to lose my marbles. i am 100% not trying to start drama, this is just what i’ve seen n why i wanna separate myself from tpoh. also keep in mind that this is mostly because i’ve pretty much lost interest in the comic, and that definitely makes me more critical of it. its absolutely okay to like the comic and if you still like tpoh i’m not gonna hold it against you or anything. it’s a good comic!okay! under the cut because like i said in the tags earlier this is gonna be an essay

hello! I just got linked to your post- and first off, your opinions are valid; your thoughts and feelings are your own, you don’t have to like/read my comic, that’s all good and gold. Second: it’s hard to swallow, but I believe you’re right. I was blinkered by my ignorance, and did not realise some of those character choices were stereotypes- I did not make them purposefully, it simply did not occur to me. There are, however, personality choices which have been made for different reasons which are integral to the characters, and one day the story will explain those, so I can’t easily remove them. It is a little difficult to explain without spoiling, but I can also say that I have conversed with people of the relevant ethnicities since their conception and during making this comic, and I hope that when you learn about who these people actually are that you will see that they are much, much more than the tiny snippets you have seen. That said, I have been remiss, and I can’t change the comic at this point but I apologise, and hope I can do better in the future pages.

I have never had that feedback about Arthur and Mesi before, but I will take it into consideration, and there is so much more I could say but I feel it isn’t my place to. I am in a position where I am (while not wholly in control of it) responsible for these interpretations of my characters, and I am duty bound to work and improve the stories I make so that I do not cause or promote damage.
