As long as now that TV show, the Westworld, finally came to end of one season, now I can talk about the thing which we shall concern about, since the story, as it seems, should be continued.
But before I go into detail, I should ask about it first: what if something must be truth, regardless of any circumstance, then how and what can it be? And this is the very question all the people always try to answer, as the absolute truth, since the time of antiquity. For, inasmuch as the morality is concerned, it must be supposed that it should be rooted in invariable truth, not some relative, alterable opinion, since in latter case, we are not able to stand the position by which one can urge others to keep the human laws, unless one is said that human must keep his own society, while in that case, the question of necessity is not yet answered, but just begged.
So, to adjust this problem, we should look around the argument which can never be false. Indeed, there are quite several arguments of this type, since it is not so hard to find type, but simple ‘circular argument’. That is, the argument which is supplied its own evidence by its own being. Then surely this sort of argument must be the argument, which is absolutely truth, even though it is possible that we do not know what is meant to be by that argument. In other words, the truth of argument does not depend on the content of argument, but the frame of argument. So in this regards, science must be the absolute truth, for science’s base is the intuition, and this very intuition also closes the circle of all the scientific arguments. Which means also that if something is internally truth, as the form of circular argument, then even if someone who stands outside of that frame, tries to rebut it, it cannot affect any harm to the truth state of that argument. Ergo, it should be stated, inasmuch as one is meant to find the absolute truth, the argument’s factual reliance is not even important, but that it can be self-sustained argument, that is, ‘circular argument’.
However, it has long been said that subjective argument never can be false, as regards of the one who is the owner of that subjective condition which leads him to make it. Then, regardless of what he is, it is evident that he is also the self-sustained being, at least, as regards of his own consciousness. And which is the very first beginning of modern philosophy, because the father of modern philosophy, who was Descartes, once implied that one’s consciousness must be self sustained, for if one is meant to doubt all the external world, but still the one’s conscious, then surely it must be suggested that one’s consciousness must be self sustained.
Thus in this regard, the turning point of Dolores’ inner voice scene was, even if quite expected, amusing, although it had been already well supposed in the original theory of Bicameral mind. And also by the same token, which I said above, we cannot say that William had been a good man, but changed by tragic accident, for as you see above, in the end, that conscious is not such kind of entirely depending outer environment, but the self-sustained, which means that William was from the very first having such kind of tendency. And this theory even can explain why Dr. Ford quit to have external existence, for only by that end, he can be entirely the end of full circle, thus can control over all forever, as the absolute truth. For, as it seems, as long as the world he created, is always working as he wished, then surely the world itself is he himself, so ever sustaining.
So it was quite nice to see this grand finale. But only one thing I worry about is that, as long as hosts are human shaped, but not actually humans, which is the very feature of zombies, this amazing TV show becomes just another variation of simple and plain TV show.
