Her Name Is Naz

             Sabrina “Naz” Comanescu is a dynamic member of the Calgary Dance Community especially in the urban and Caribbean dance scene through her work as an instructor, performer, and choreographer.  As a performer, Naz has worked with House of Dangerkat and The Bad Girls Club YYC and has also had the opportunity to train and perform in Trinidad and Tobago, Finland, New York City and Romania on several occasions.  Naz’s choreography has been presented by MPACT’s Something to Say, ONE! Colors of World Dance, Carifest Calgary, Cariwest Edmonton, Global Fest, North Vancouver’s Caribbean Days and Diversity Performing Club of Calgary. Naz is also the Founder and Artistic Director of Casa De Naz, an art collective that mixes dance, fashion, and film with a Caribbean flare to educate communities across Canada about the vivacious arts of the Caribbean.
