no but imagine your whole planet is destroyed. you are one of two people sent away from it to another place to live. you're told that you're entire job, you're reason, is to protect someone else and help the legacy of your place and home live on. you make it there, and you're immediately captured and tortured. when you do get out, you find out that the person you were sent to protect, your only living family, never even made it to earth, and was killed as an infant. i'd go pretty batshit mad too.

earth - 128 is a world were heroes and vigilantes are hunter down due to the government fearing stronger beings than they are. most are captured and seemingly vanished off the face of the earth into a prison that is seemingly impossible to break out of. those left, hide in secret and still try to save their world. earth – 128 is far from a good place to live. both karter and casey have been refugees onto earth – 1 / prime to allow for casey to have a safe place to have her children. earth – 128’s speedster: karter sharpe, otherwise known as quickbolt. father to jae sharpe / speedrun and dillon sharpe / overdrive. husband to casey ashford / echo. almost the de-facto leader of what could be considered, earth – 128’s justice league. casey ashford / echo: wife to karter sharpe, and a metahuman with the ability of a sonic scream. jae sharpe / speedrun: inherited the ability of being a speedster from his father, while also having an unactived meta-gene from his mother. considered extremely dangerous. dillon sharpe / overdrive: seemingly with the ability to create portals, this version of dillon is from the future of 128 and also, considered extremely dangerous. she seems to be extremely distant and angry. madison black / toxin: their toxin can kill people from the inside out, but also prevents them from being close to the people they love. moriyama yumiko / red dragon: a member of earth -128’s justice league. missing. “the tinkerer”: a technopath responsible for creating and being the mastermind behind the justice league 8’s technology. arcadia king: an alien refugee, standing at 6'7 and more often than not used to her simply brute force.
