Yesterday was the official launch of the Orange Tropics and White Glacier Tamagotchi Paradises, so I wanted to throw together a little pic to celebrate! This also serves as this month's artwork for my local Tama Club.

Imp-penetrable Fortress

As "the most imp-pressively powerful and evil demon in all of Hell," it's only fitting that Baphel should get to live in a castle of his very own!

…I'm just not sure that the DIY crayon-colored-cardboard look will really scream "Dark Lord of Hell" to most people. I guess as a lvl 1 imp he's gotta take what he can get, though… (^ ^;)

A new Baphel ref for 2026!

I'm planning on participating in Artfight this year, so I wanted to have this up and ready to go for next month!

I've made some changes to his hands so that they can be a little more expressive. He's also got more teeth now! Scary!!!

Sweet Treats in Summer Heat

Baphel's enjoying a popsicle to try and cool down, but it doesn't seem like it's holding up too well in the fiery heat of Hell.

Art I made for my Tamagotchi Club's meetup last month!

I went for an April showers theme last month, so naturally this month I went for a May flowers one.

Mamegon celebrated his first birthday this weekend! One year is pretty old for a Tamagotchi considering they're full adults by the time they're like three days old. I guess devils don't really die, though.

I whipped up this little pic to celebrate-- don't worry about weeptchi, kuchipatchi, and memetchi! I'm sure they'll be fine! I mean, it's not like monsters eat people, right? …Right?（´・ω・｀）

I went out to Kura Sushi with some friends to celebrate!

They coincidentally have a Tamagotchi collab going on right now and we wanted to check it out. The Mametchi tamago tempura roll was really delicious, I'd definitely recommend it! I'd say to stay clear of the Kuchipatchi matcha beef one, though. It was fucking disgusting. #NotSpon

I've ended up in charge of creating the art for my local Tamagotchi Club, and figured I'd share the images I made for the last two meetups here since I think they turned out cute. These are for March and April, respectively!

You know you've made it when you're able to make a better joke in your target language than your native one. I might not be able to hold a conversation in Japanese without stuttering constantly and having to pause every few seconds to formulate what I want to say, but I can make devil puns, which is way more imp-portant, I think!

IMP3 Player

As an imp who spends a lot of time in the mortal world trying to make deals and collect souls, Baphel often finds himself getting restless and homesick being so far from away from Hell. Luckily, listening to the familiar sounds of roaring flames and agonized screams always helps relax and remind him of home.

If you ever find yourself in a situation where he's your familiar or something, giving him an iPod filled with hellish ambiance downloaded from YTMP3 is a good way to get him to calm down and stop chewing on your furniture for a little while so you can sit in peace and wonder where your life went so wrong. Just make sure you don't give him anything that can connect to the internet, it'll probably only cause you more trouble…(ˉuˉ；)

Mamegon's all bundled up for the winter weather! He looks so cozy!

I fell in love with the outfit I dressed him in on my Uni, and just had to draw it. Believe it or not I've actually got a hat irl that kind of looks like his. We're twinning!

Anniversary 2026

Today marks exactly one year since I first finished up my initial sketch of Baphel. I decided to throw together this little doodle to celebrate!

Thank you to everyone who has enjoyed my art over the past year or so, I hope to create lots more art going forward. Let's keep trudging forward, and learn to be happy with our imp-perfections.

Finally finished up an updated ref for Baphel that I've been working on for a while now. I think he looks fairly in line with how he's appeared in my last few pics, but I did change the font of the 「魔」 kanji on his onesie as well as the font I'll be using in his dialogue!

Unrestrained Whimsy

I noticed today that it's apparently been three weeks since I last uploaded anything! Whoops! Σ(°ロ°)

To try and rectify this I threw together a doodle of everyone's favorite silly little guy Marx engaging in some playful lollygagging. You can maybe consider this a celebration of Kirby Air Riders launching on Switch 2 if you'd like! It's a game I'd love to play whenever I end up getting a Switch 2.

I've got more regular stuff in the works, I've just been making really slow progress on it. Please look forward to it! (ദ്ദി ๑>؂•̀๑)

Imp-possibly Scary

I recently learned about the Japanese word あくまで ("akumade") which means something along the lines of "completely" or "to the bitter end," and since it sounds a lot like 悪魔 ("akuma") which means "devil," it seemed like something Baphel would probably say. I haven't written a lot of dialogue for him, but I've always kinda thought he'd use a lot of imp puns when speaking, and what's better than a pun that works in multiple languages?

"The circus near my house shut down last week and had a sale for all their old equipment. I bought some dusty old computer there since my RTX 5090 exploded a few months ago and destroyed my build.
