He thought he had begun to find his own light but apparently the shadows would forever be his home. His subconscious began to retreat behind the walls he had worked so hard to break down….the moment she yelled at him…the moment she told him the truth those walls were rebuilt and fortified and Rogue was left empty. 

“I’m…..I’m sorry…” He murmured taking a step away from her, wanting to run….wanting to hide. No light would be able to penetrate his shadows now….he was lost to the darkness. 

His future was set. it was unchangeable. 

He was lost. 

“Leave….leave me alone….please….just….leave” 

He pleaded, backing away from her as his shadows began to surround him. 

Even Sting wouldnt be able to pull him free….
