Who Cares If North Italy Has Relatives In Bavaria?
In episode 2 of the Hetalia Axis Powers anime and manga series by Hidekaz Himaruya, North Italy tells Germany that he has relatives in Bavaria when the 2 meet for the first time during World War I. But so what if Italy has relatives in Bavaria? Why should Germany care about that? Why should anyone care about that? What does that have to do with anything?
North Italy says theĀ ārelatives in Bavariaā line as part of the reason why Germany shouldnāt kill or harm him. At this point, heās crying hysterically and begging the German not to kill him (which is really quite amusing considering Germany hasnāt done anything at all to him and is merely staring at him and yet Italy is acting like the German is torturing him or doing unspeakable, horrifying things to him).Ā
Italyās exact words are:
āYouāre Germany, right? I have relatives in Bavaria!āĀ
According to the text that showed up on the screen, this is a tactic that Italians use to plead for their lives when they're about to be killed. They say that they have relatives in the country of whoever is about to kill them. I second the text on the screen when it said that āso what if you have relatives there?ā Thatās exactly what I was thinking. So what if Italy really actually has relatives in Bavaria? Why does that matter? Why should that be relevant?Ā
I also have to wonder why people use this tactic. Does it actually work? Why should whoever is about to kill you care if you say that you have relatives in their country? How would they even know that youāre telling the truth? How would you be able to prove that youāre not lying? Plus, even if you arenāt lying, well, so what? Why would the killers care unless they actually know the person/relative youāre referring to? So, do you think this tactic actually works? Why do you think people or Italians (as the text on the screen said) use this tactic?

Germany and North Italy meet each other during World War I in Hetalia Axis Powers episode 2 (anime and manga series by Hidekaz Himaruya). Italy pops out of a box of tomatoes (after failing to get anyone (Germany and the audience) to believe him when he claimed to be a tomato box fairy), much to Germanyās surprise. The 2 start talking and then Italy says something strange and odd. How can this be true? Is this true?
Okay, so, first, as soon as Italy pops out of the box of tomatoes, he starts crying hysterically as he begs Germany not to kill him. He says a lot of things and, from the way heās acting, it sounds like Germanyās doing such horrible, unspeakable things to him even though the blond is actually just staring at him and doing nothing at all that that would hurt Italy.Ā
Anyway, Italy then mentions that he has relatives in Bavaria. But how can that possibly be true? Heās supposed to be a country so he shouldnāt have relatives there, right? Do countries have relatives that arenāt countries? Or is Bavaria like a Hetalia character or something? But how would he/she or whoever Bavaria is be related to Italy then? Or is he actually talking about some of his citizens (Italians) having relatives in Bavaria? That would be more believable not that that means much of anything anyway.
Because heās clearly just saying that line so he wonāt be killed. It looks like Italy is saying just about anything so he wonāt get shot at. Heās like those people who would grovel or beg their captors for their lives. This scene was amusing but it was pretty pathetic on Italyās part considering how much he was begging and groveling even though Germany hasnāt even done anything yet.

In Hetalia Axis Powers, anime and manga series by Hidekaz Himaruya, episode 2, we see North Italy and Germany meeting each other during World War I. It seems to be the very first time that the 2 met and yet Italy says something strange that would make one think otherwise. So, which is it? Have they met before WWI or not?
In Hetalia episode 1, during the World War I scene, Germany comes across a box of tomatoes. Itās in episode 2 that we find out that North Italy was actually hiding inside said box of tomatoes. He at first pretended to be a tomato box fairy but, of course, neither Germany nor the audience are fooled by such nonsense.
As soon as he pops out of the box of tomatoes, North Italy begins crying hysterically, begging Germany not to shoot him. After talking/crying some more, he finally introduces himself asĀ āweakā Italy before saying,Ā āyouāre Germany, right?ā
But how does Italy know that? Does that mean that he actually knows Germany? Has he seen his face somewhere before or is it that he only knows him because they're both countries and they can tell if one is a country or not? Is that how it works? But- if that is the case, then how come Germany looks so clueless?Ā
When he first saw Italy pop out of the box of tomatoes, it didnāt look like he recognized him or anything. He just looked confused. Plus, even after Italy said who he was, Germany still didnāt look like he knew him at all. In fact, he was saying something about being unable to believe that Italy could be one of Romeās descendants. So, whatās the truth? Do these 2 know each other or what? What do you think? Ā Ā
Episode 2 of season 1 of the Hetalia Axis Powers anime and manga series by Hidekaz Himaruya starts with the World War 1 storyline. We go back to where we left off in episode 1 with Germany finding the box of tomatoes.
The beginning of this scene is interesting as Germany wonders about the box and tries to open it. The voice from the box claims to be the tomato box fairy but, of course, no one is buying it ā neither Germany nor the audience.
Introduction to North Italy
It was quite amusing when North Italy suddenly popped out of the box though. This is our first proper introduction to him since he only said āpastaā during the world meeting scene in episode 1.Ā
Now, he actually says more words than that as he starts crying hysterically, begging not to be shot and promising to do anything as long as he isnāt hurt. This scene was pretty funny but also kind of sad and pathetic on Italyās part.
Heās all scared but, somehow, his fear just comes across as funny like the audience canāt feel or understand his fear especially because Germany is just standing there at the moment. Germany hasnāt even done anything yet so why is Italy being so hysterical and emotional? Is he just overreacting? What do you think?
Episode 1 of the Hetalia Axis Powers anime and manga series by Hidekaz Himaruya introduces us to some of the characters and we get the chance to find out a bit about them, their personalities and how they interact with each other.
Things to like about Hetalia episode 1:
The world meeting scene ā this was very amusing and interesting, to say the least
Itās definitely a good way to introduce the series and its characters
Itās a pretty effective way of drawing the audience and getting them to feel curious and excited about wanting to find out more about this anime
Characters ā some of them were funny and amusing and interesting and really makes you want to find out more about them
Things to dislike about Hetalia episode 1:
The abrupt ending of the world meeting scene ā it suddenly ends just when things are getting more and more interesting and weāre taken to a new scene
The switching storylines ā in this episode alone, weāve been to 4 different places in 4 different scenes ā from the future (the world meeting), the ancient past (the Roman Empire scene), the present (World War 1) and the past (Chibitalia)
Whatās up with that? Why is there a need to keep switching scenes and storylines? Why canāt we stick to one scene and finish that first before being taken to new scenes pretty much every few minutes (or so it seems)?
Because of this, we are not given much chance to get to know all of the characters
There are also some confusing parts and scenes with unanswered questions
For instance, why did the Roman Empire suddenly disappear? Why did Italyās grandfather take him away?
The art, animation and character designs ā many parts could have been drawn in a nicer way. Improvements definitely need to be made. Some art in this episode just ends up looking sloppy. If the art looked better, these characters could have come across as definitely bishounen. As it is, at the moment, they just have the potential to be bishounen.
Overall, episode 1 of Hetalia Axis Powers wasnāt all that bad. It was funny and amusing and interesting. And I do look forward to watching episode 2 and getting to know the characters. However, this episode wasnāt perfect.Ā
A lot of improvements still need to be made such as in terms of art and character designs. The abrupt scene changes need to stop too. So, what about you? What do you think about season 1 episode 1 of Hetalia Axis Powers? Like it? Dislike it? Ā

Thoughts On The World War I Scene In Hetalia Axis Powers Episode 1
The World War 1 scene happens right after the Roman Empire scene in season 1 episode 1 of the Hetalia Axis Powers anime and manga series by Hidekaz Himaruya. This scene reveals the fact that Germany was the one who was telling us about the Roman Empire. Apparently, he was having a flashback to the time of the rise and downfall of the Roman Empire.
The beginning of World War 1
The beginning of this scene wasnāt just abrupt, it was also very awkward
Itās because of how we suddenly get the āitās now World War 1ā sign.
Nice, huh? Whatās with all the switching scenes? Seriously. Look:
First, we were in what is presumably the present with the world conference scene
Second, we were in the ancient past with the Roman Empire scene
Third, we go to the past with the World War 1 scene
So, whatās up with that? Where is the chronological order of things?
Something to wonder about:
We see Germany walking in some forest, wondering how he was able to easily cross the border with only a stick
He even had time to eat wurst, which he apparently likes
He also mentioned how some enemies just ran away from him when he saw them
This is definitely something to wonder about
If itās World War 1, there should be much more tension in the air and it should definitely be harder to just wander around in enemy lands and cross enemy borders
The World War 1 scene was starting to become interesting, you know? Germany is suspicious and resolves to keep his guard up in case this was all just a trap. He keeps walking, stopping only when he comes across a box of tomatoes. And you just have to wonder whatās going to happen next, right? What do you think is going to happen next?
What to dislike / hate about this scene?
Guess what actually happens?
The World War 1 scene suddenly ends and you get this huge āto be continuedā sign right in your face
What the? Seriously? Whatās up with that?
Whatās with all these scenes ending so abruptly and all of a sudden?
Just when youāre starting to enjoy this scene, just when you're starting to think that itās getting interesting and just when youāre all curious and wanting to know what will happen to Germany next ā you get nothing but the scene ending
Why?
It wouldnāt have been so bad if we got the ending credits already so we know this is a cliffhanger to entice us to watch the next episode
But this episode isnāt actually over yet
The end of the World War 1 scene brought us to yet another new scene. What do you think? Do you like all these scene changes? What are your thoughts about this particular scene?

Thoughts On The Roman Empire Introduction Scene In Hetalia Episode 1
We are introduced to the Roman Empire right after the world meeting scene and the opening credits in the first episode of the Hetalia Axis Powers anime and manga series by Hidekaz Himaruya. I found this introduction to be quite abrupt and out-of-place like it didnāt really fit with this episode. Why?
The beginning of Hetalia
Hetalia started with the world meeting scene, which is presumably held in the present
This was a pretty good intro and we got the chance to meet lots of different countries
After the opening credits, I thought we would get to see more of the countries that weād already met
I thought weād get to see more world meetings
Instead, we go from the present to the past with the introduction of the Roman Empire
So, thereās the question of why?
Why are we suddenly being introduced to this guy?
Appearance of Roman Empire
As usual, the Hetalia art, animation and character designs leave much to be desired though the Roman Empire actually looks much better when compared to the other characters that were introduced in this episode
He actually looks pretty cool with the way he was standing and with that red cape billowing behind him
Personality of Roman Empire
The Roman Empire doesnāt say anything in this scene so we donāt really know anything about him
How come he doesnāt say anything? He could have said a few words just so we can hear him talk and get a bit of insight into his personality and character
Perhaps weāre just supposed to think that heās all great and cool since he was able to get all the riches in the world and obtain lots of lands
But he is supposed to be the Roman Empire so itās no surprise that heās got riches and lands
Whereās the Roman Empire?
Soon, we are told that Roman Empire suddenly disappeared
This likely refers to the fall of the Roman Empire
But the scene didnāt really give much of an explanation regarding this incident
Why did the character of the Roman Empire disappear?
Where is he now?
This brings us to some of the problems with the Roman Empire scene:
Can you even call this a scene with how short it is?
What is the purpose of introducing us to a guy if he says nothing at all?
Weāre not even told where he supposedly disappeared off to
Why was the interesting and amusing world conference scene replaced with this so-called scene?
Itās way too short and then, just when it was starting to get interesting, the scene suddenly ends
We donāt even get to hear the Roman Empire talk. We donāt get to hear much of anything about him at all except that he suddenly disappeared and he had so many riches and lands. The scene abruptly ends and weāre suddenly thrust into the World War 1 scene, showing us that the Roman Empire scene was actually just a flashback scene. For a flashback scene, itās still not all that good though. It could have been so much more interesting. So, what about you? What do you think of the Roman Empire scene? Did you like it or not?
During the world meeting scene in season 1 episode 1 of Hetalia Axis Powers, Poland says, āIf you come any closer, the Poland rule will apply and your capital will become Warsawā.
He says this to Russia while standing in front of Lithuania, trying to defend the latter from the former.
Poland rule
But what in the world is Poland talking about? What is this Poland rule? Is there really such a thing or is this something that was just made up for the Hetalia anime?
Warsaw, Poland
Warsaw really is Polandās capital but what does it have to do with the so-called āPoland ruleā?
No info about the Poland rule?
I tried to do a quick search about the Poland rule but couldnāt find any historical references regarding this rule, whatever it may be. Maybe it is fictional because most of the results that I saw were about Hetalia Axis Powers.
Why did Poland say this to Russia?
Poland told Russia that his capital (Moscow) would become Warsaw thanks to the Poland rule if he came any closer to Lithuania. But is there a historical basis or reference for this? Anyone know anything about the Poland rule and its basis in history, if there is such a thing? What are your thoughts on this?
America: First Impression From Hetalia Axis Powers World Meeting Scene
Whatās the best way to stop global warming?
According to the United States of America -Ā ābuilding a big hero together and have it shield the earthā
Hetalia world conference scene
America is the very first character that we meet/see in season 1 episode 1 of the Hetalia Axis Powers anime and manga series by Hidekaz Himaruya. He starts the world conference meeting scene by talking about his heroic plan to save the world from global warming.Ā
His speech leads to the introduction of the other countries present in the world meeting scene. For instance, while America is talking, the camera pans to show Finland and Sweden.Ā
Right after the USA finishes his speech and says that he wonāt ātake any objectionsā, Japan pipes up that he agrees with Alfred only to have Switzerland cut him off. England then declares his opposition to this plan and France chimes in with his own opinion. This starts an argument between England, France and America, which lasts until Germany finally decides to restore order and take charge of the world conference.
Americaās appearance
Alfred definitely has the potential to look like a bishounen with his golden-blond hair and sky-blue eyes. This is why itās really quite unfortunate that the Hetalia art and character design in this episode is so bad that it borders on terrible.
Americaās drawing skills
While the United States of America is telling us and the rest of his fellow countries about his heroic plan to save the world from global warming, we can see a picture of a giant hero and the earth. Presumably, said giant hero is shielding the earth. Who drew this pic? Was it Alfred? If so, his drawing skills definitely leave much to be desired or is this because of the Hetalia art in this episode again?Ā
Americaās personality
From the moment that we meet him, the USA comes across as a rather likable character with a distinct personality. Itās because of how funny he can be. He seems very cheerful and happy-go-lucky too. He has a way of drawing people or, in this case, the audience and watchers of the Hetalia anime because of the things that he says and his actions.Ā
If you really look at it, his speech was more than ridiculous but, aside from that, it was also really funny and Alfred himself was so funny in this scene, which made this the perfect introduction or start to the Hetalia anime. Ā
In this episode, America comes across as:
Childish
NaiveĀ
Innocent
Cheerful
Genki
Happy-go-lucky
Lively
Cheery
Ditzy
He can remind you of characters like Gon from the Hunter X Hunter anime series thanks to his outgoing personality and that naivety and innocence. So, what do you think about America? I definitely look forward to getting to know him more as I continue watching the Hetalia series.

Italy: First Impression From Hetalia Axis Powers World Meeting Scene
North Italy during the Hetalia world conference scene
Italy is the last character that we see before the world conference scene in season 1 episode 1 of the Hetalia Axis Powers anime and manga series by Hidekaz Himaruya ends.
Germany yells at everyone to shut up after the world meeting descends into chaos. He then gives precise instructions that everyone has to follow in terms of how long their speeches should be.
Right after Germany finishes talking, Italy raises his hand. At first, it seems like he wants to give a speech so Germany calls on him. Instead of giving a speech though, Italy just screams "pasta" and we then see the opening credits of the Hetalia anime series.
From this, we can see that:
North Italy appears to be a cheery and fun person
Did he deliberately disobey Germanyās orders?
Either he canāt follow simple instructions or he screamsĀ āpastaā just because he wants to piss off Germany or is it something else entirely?
He seems to like pasta very much
He has a pretty distinct look with that curly strand of hair sticking to one side and his closed eyes though, as usual, the Hetalia art and character designs leave much to be desired. Italy looks much better when compared to the other countries in this episode though.
Something to wonder about
Italy is supposed to be the main character of the series (well, the others like the Axis and the Allied Powers can be seen as the main characters too but Hetalia actually refers to Italy so heās like the main *main* character) so itās a wonder why he showed up so late during the world conference scene. How come he only showed up when the scene in question was about to end?
We barely saw Italy and he only says one word so we barely get to find out anything about him. Why is that? So, what do you think about North Italy? Looking forward to finding out more stuff about him?

Germany: First Impression From Hetalia Axis Powers World Meeting Scene
Germany during the Hetalia world conference meeting scene
Germany was first introduced in the world meeting conference scene in season 1 episode 1 of the Hetalia Axis Powers anime and manga series by Hidekaz Himaruya. Heās one of the characters that was introduced last in this particular scene.
He only shows up after the world meeting descended into chaos with all the countries arguing and shouting and generally making a mess.
Germany stands up and shouts, ordering everyone to shut up.
France and England immediately stop fighting, turning to look at Germany while everyone else also shuts up and turns to pay attention to him.
Germany then takes charge of the world conference, telling everyone what to do and how they should do it.
What kind of person is Germany?
From this, we can tell a few things about Germany:
He is a very serious type of person
Heās strict and no-nonsense, which really makes him similar to Professor Minerva McGonagall, the Transfiguration teacher and Gryffindor head of house in the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling
Heās clearly the voice of reason and people listen to him considering how the rest of the countries immediately stopped fighting when he told them to shut up
He has good leadership skills considering how the rest of the countries actually listen to him
He is capable of restoring peace and order since he was able to get the world conference back on track after everyone was content to just fight and argue or sit around doing nothing (or, in Greeceās case, sit around and just sleep)
He also comes across as very organized especially when you consider how he gave everyoneās speeches a time limit and forbade them to go over that time
His outfit also makes him look very formal and professional like a businessman. This just helps to reiterate the fact that he takes things very seriously
As with many of the other Hetalia characters, Germany has the potential to look like a bishounen with his blond hair and blue eyes. The art depicting him in this episode doesnāt really look all that bad compared to how the other countries ended up looking but it could still use some more improvements. So, what do you think about Germany? Looking forward to getting to know him more?

Poland: First Impression From Hetalia Axis Powers World Meeting Scene
We first meet Poland in the world conference scene in season 1 episode 1 of the Hetalia Axis Powers anime and manga series by Hidekaz Himaruya. He stands in front of Lithuania, defending him against Russia.Ā
From this, we can tell a few things about him:
He appears to be very good friends with Lithuania considering he was willing to fight against Russia for Lithuaniaās sake
He seems bold, confident, and self-assured because of his stance (he stands tall and looks proud) and the way he readily stepped forward and in front of Lithuania without hesitation
He seems fearless or maybe he just doesnāt care or is underestimating Russia considering how he had no qualms standing up to Russia whoās way, way taller (not to mention bigger) than him
He looks pretty funny too or maybe itās just the Hetalia art in this episode. As usual, the character designs and animation leave much to be desired. However, with improvements, Poland could really look like an effeminate bishounen. Iāve seen some very nice art of him. Overall, Polandās a pretty interesting character and I look forward to getting to know him more. So, what do you think about him?
China: First Impression From Hetalia Axis Powers World Meeting Scene
China in the Hetalia world conference meeting scene
We are first introduced to China during the world conference scene in season 1 episode 1 of the Hetalia Axis Powers anime and manga series by Hidekaz Himaruya. He attempts to stop England and France from arguing by offering them something to eat. The 2 fighting countries decline the offer though.Ā
From this, China seems to be the peacemaker, the one who tries to get people to stop fighting and the one who tries to get people to see reason.Ā
Hetalia art and China's appearance
The Hetalia art in this episode still leaves a lot to be desired, however, China actually looks kind of okay in this scene so he comes across as looking sort-of bishounen.
Heās definitely got the potential to look bishounen in an effeminate way as long as the art, animation and character designs improve. His brown hair is a stark contrast to the many other Hetalia characters who have blond hair. Unlike Japan who looks kind of plain and bland and boring (part of this is because of his eyes, which look kind of lifeless), China actually looks interesting and lively.Ā
Heās got a distinct way of speaking in the Japanese version, occasionally using the word āaruā whenever he talks. It adds to his uniqueness. Overall, China seems to be an interesting character. It looks like thereās a lot more to him than meets the eye so I look forward to finding out more about him. What do you think about China?

France: First Impression From Hetalia Axis Powers World Meeting Scene
Introduction to France in Hetalia world conference scene
We are first introduced to France in the world meeting scene in season 1 episode 1 of the Hetalia Axis Powers anime and manga series by Hidekaz Himaruya. Heās one of the very first characters that we see.
After America unveils his heroic plan to save the world from global warming, England expresses his dislike of said plan. France then interjects and says that heāll just oppose both America and England. This causes the 2 to argue with France. Soon, England and France are in an all-out brawl. Not even China attempting to feed them stops the two.
France looks pretty nice in this pice, ne, though I do have to wonder why he's suddenly sporting brown hair? Isn't he supposed to be blond? Do you prefer him as a blond or a brunet? He seems to look better as a blond. What do you think?
From this, it seems like France is very good friends with both America and England since their arguing appears to be good-natured. It also seems like he argues with England on a daily basis. Ā
France comes across as confident, full of himself and even slightly arrogant. His stance seems flirty too and the red roses that we see behind him when he first spoke seems to prove that.
France's appearance and looks
With his appearance, he could have been a bishounen. He still has the potential to be one. I've seen very nice pics of him but the Hetalia art and animation in this episode is really quite bad and leaves a lot to be desired so France just doesnāt look all that nice in the world conference scene.
His shoulder-length hair actually reminds me of characters like Sha Gojyo from the Saiyuki series by Kazuya Minekura and Kudou Yohji from the Weiss Kreuz series by Koyasu Takehito. Both characters are definitely bishounen and theyāre flirty womanizers as well.
Overall, France comes across as a very interesting character even though we hardly get to know much about him in this episode so I look forward to getting to know him more. What about you? What do you think about France?

Funny Pic About America On Pinterest
The image itself doesnāt really contain anything remarkable or noteworthy. It just looks plain and simple and, well, if you compare it to other pics, youāll find those other pics to be more awesome. Seriously. LOL. But what matters in this pic is actually the text.Ā
Description of the photo from Pinterest
The image in question is nothing special because it is simply a world map, and, well, itās a world map. What can you say about that? Of course, with all the Hetalia Axis Powers references with the world map and countries and all, I guess that makes all the difference. LOL :-)
Anyway, there are actually 2 world maps on this pic. At the top of the image, you can see the text:Ā
āDear USA, you appear to be somewhat confused. The following may be of some help.āĀ
Below the text, you can see the heading āyour jobā and then right below that is a world map with the country of the United States of America marked in a bright red color so that you canāt possibly miss it. The rest of the world is in a plain white color so you can easily see that itās got nothing to do with the USA.Ā
Below that pic, you can see the heading ānot your jobā. There's another world map right after this text. Itās pretty much the same as the above but, this time, the pic has been reversed meaning itās now the country of the USA that is colored white while the rest of the world is colored red. Below that pic you can see the words, the continuation of the first text from above, just like how youād end a letter:Ā
āYours sincerely, the rest of the world.ā
LOL, right? Itās even funnier when you think about it in terms of the Hetalia Axis Powers anime and manga series by Hidekaz Himaruya. This definitely reminded me of Alfred F. Jones or the United States of America from Hetalia. Did you also see all the Hetalia references?Ā
The USA, geography and maps and his unique sense of directionĀ
Alfred isnāt very good with maps either like he has no sense of direction. There's this episode of him asking where Japan is while looking at a map of the USA, which is apparently his world map.Ā
Then thereās another episode of him asking England how long it would take him to drive from his place to Germanyās place, meaning he wants to go from the United States of America all the way to Germany by car. Well, good luck with that Alfred. LOL.
America in the world meeting scene in Hetalia Axis Powers episode 1
Plus, Alfred is wont to interfere and be all over the place, isnāt he? Like during the world meeting scene in season 1 episode 1, he tries to be the leader and he tries to get everyone to agree with his plans to save the world from global warming.Ā
This scene was really quite amusing and funny including Americaās plan but if you really look at said plan itās ridiculous and the entire meeting pretty much descended into chaos with America involved in the fighting (between France and England) before Germany decided to step in and take charge.Ā
Does America have a hero-complex?
There was also that scene where we see America assigning parts to his fellow allies in the World War. France, England and Russia all get to be his backup while heās the hero. Seems pretty clear that heās got a hero-complex, huh?Ā
Which implies he really wants to be the one to save the world, he wants to be in the thick of things, interfering and meddling in the affairs of other countries, acting as the hero and thinking of or viewing them as the damsel-in-distress. So, what do you think? And did you find the pic funny too? Ā Ā Ā

Spain: First Impression From Hetalia Axis Powers World Meeting Scene
Introduction to Spain in Hetalia world conference scene
Weāre first introduced to Spain in the world meeting scene in season 1 episode 1 of the Hetalia Axis Powers anime and manga series by Hidekaz Himaruya. We get a short glimpse of him while America is talking about his heroic (more like hilarious. LOL :-)) plan to stop global warming.
Spain is seen smiling happily as someone is pouring him something to drink. Tea or coffee perhaps? Well, it looks like it wouldnāt matter to him which one. From this short glimpse, he looks very cheery and happy.
Spain's personality and character
The next time we see Spain, we get to hear him talk. While England, France and even America (but, mostly the first 2) are busy arguing in the background, we see Spain approaching Russia and asking him to stop the fighting. He seems very, very sure that, if Russia says something, then all this fighting would definitely stop.
It must be because of Russiaās intimidating height (his voice is so kawaii though :-)). But when Russia said that he didnāt want to stop the fighting though, Spain didnāt seem all that bothered by this. He didnāt try to convince Russia some more and he didnāt try and ask the other countries, like Germany, for help in stopping the fighting. It seemed like he didnāt really care either way if France and England continued to fight and if America joined in or not.
This indicates that heās cheery and happy-go-lucky and is wont to be unconcerned about a lot of things even if they may be important. His closed eyes also indicate happiness which is further enhanced by the smile on his face. Overall, Spain seems to be a cheerful and fun person who likes smiling and not letting things bother him or get to him. What do you think about him?

Switzerland: First Impression From Hetalia Axis Powers World Meeting Scene
Introduction to Switzerland in Hetalia world conference scene
We are first introduced to Switzerland during the world conference scene in season 1 episode 1 of the Hetalia Axis Powers anime and manga series by Hidekaz Himaruya. He cuts off Japan by banging his fist on the table just as Japan says that he agrees with everything that America just said about how they can stop global warming.
Switzerland shouts and demands that Japan give his own opinions instead of just mindlessly agreeing with America. Heās got a very good point though this scene comes across as funny and amusing.
Switzerland = green?
One of the first things I noticed about Switzerland was how green he was. His clothing is colored green and, while heās currently seated and we canāt see what heās wearing underneath, his choice of clothing seems to imply that heās also wearing green pants. Even his eyes are vibrantly, brilliantly green, not that thatās a bad thing or anything. His green eyes actually contrast quite well with his very blond hair.
Switzerland comes across as a very angry and hot-tempered character who gets mad easily and who has no qualms speaking his mind. He seems to be very confident and outspoken, ready to speak up and voice his opinions even if he ends up disagreeing with people.
Overall, Switzerland is an interesting character and I look forward to getting to know him more as I continue to watch the rest of the Hetalia series. What about you? What do you think about him?
