Despite this being the end of the event, I’ll still be accepting late submissions. I understand that life gets busy and whatnot, so if you have an idea you felt you had to give up on, here’s your sign you can still make it. There is no time limit, you can even go back and create content for the older prompts if you'd like!

Like last year, we have two different prompts for each day of the event- you do not have to use both of them, and prompts are, as always, up for interpretation. Have fun with it and we can't wait to see what you have created in October!

Hellooooo!! We are excited to announce the return of APH Austria Week, happening this year from October 20th - 26th!
We were thrilled with the response last year, and are so excited to see what everyone creates for the event this year! We will be announcing prompts soon, but in the meantime, don't forget to check out the event rules (text version under the cut):
+ Content must focus on APH Austria, but other ships and relationships are allowed.
+ This event does not dictate what headcanons you have about country relations and familial bonds. It is open to all ships, headcanons, canon AUs, and personal AUs, we only ask that you allow space for others’ interpretations. Any ship/character bashing might be grounds for having your content removed from the event.
+ Explicit content is allowed as long as it respects Tumblr guidelines.
+ Please tag potential triggers and appropriate content warnings.
+ All types of fanwork (except for AI) are allowed and encouraged! Fanart, fanfiction, cosplay, headcanons, edits, playlists, etc. Have fun with it!
+ Indicate which prompt you’re creating for in the post and mention @hetaliaaustriaweek and use the tag #hetaliaaustriaweek.
+ You are not required to participate every day of the event. Create as much or as little as you want! Creating multiple entries for the same day is allowed and encouraged.
+ Each day has two prompts: a historical period and a word prompt; you do not need to combine them for your piece, you can just pick one.
+ Late submissions will still be accepted! If we miss your submission, please feel free to reach out directly.
+ Please be respectful of the real historical events, people, and nations that Hetalia is based on. Do you guys remember that old tik tok trend where the people twirled while their partner held up a flower for their face? Well apperently these two would have a really hard time because tulips (national flower of Hungary) feel huge while Edelweiss are apperently much smaller then I depicted. (creative liberties as one must do)

I imagine Austria to be more careful about how he behaves in court while Hungary can be a little wilder about it because of how she grew up so I can see her stealing a moment with him to have him lay on the floor
