Terms are just labels we get to use whenever they facilitate how we need to navigate the world, that’s the cool thing. One thing inherent to trans individuals and communities has been the practice of being guided by an internal compass instead of the practices or habits of others. So when I say I’m transfemme, you have literally no way of assuming that you and I have the same definition for that term lol.

Moral of the story: there really is no way of knowing lol. So we get to spend our time doing more valuable things, like actually getting to know people 😊
